There have been a lot of frustration with Anjalis character...and for a. Very good reason...

I understand your pain girls...I fast forwarded most of the episode today...because I was so sick of Shyamu and his manipulations...

Anjali is not the manipulator but very WEAK and easily manipulated...

she lives in a bubble of hope ...where you can wish things to be true...

She hasnt taken her parents death well...and wants to stay in her dream world...

She thinks if you ignore the reality and believe everything is well ...It will be...

Right now I sympathize with her...although I don't think watching her weakness is entertaining...

There is a fine line between having faith and being fooled...in her case her faith is misplaced...

Having said that...I don't think any of the Raizadas did her a favor by not talking about Shyamu after he was thrown out afte a brief explanation...even a normal person needs more grief management when the go through a loss...she is all the more fragile...

They left her in a vulnerable position by not talking about the loss ...by brushing it under the carpet...They will pay a price...

Dadi is prejudiced agains Arnavs judgement ...so she is ready to believe any S*** that Shyam is feeding her...

Overall a BIG mess...but still better than an MU between Arhi...my only problem is I dont have the patience to watch the Jhas.. Or their story... I am like...Ok...are you done yet? Lets Move on peeps...what's next?

.
😛

EDITED
The purpose of this post is not to argue any logic in Anjalis behavior or to like her character...The purpose is only to think bout...WHY? HOW COULD SHE? I would rather see her a strong and logical woman too...and that's what I like...but this is just to say...maybe...she is behaving like this...Because...

Sush,

I agree with you that it is pain to watch Anjali and she is easily fooled by Shyam.

But I don't agree that she is not a manipulator. She is a big manipulator and has proven this many times. If she has been fooled by Shyam, she is also fooling everyone.

Anyways, better than a rift between Arshi, we need to see a bigger rift between ASR and Anjali. But they won't show it.

Hi Sush!
Hats off to you to attempt to defend Anjali in a week where the audience is super frustrated with her screen time and drama eating into ARHI's space😉.
I think the CV's have messed Anjali's character big time; they should have stuck to the original cold side she displayed after Shyam's truth was revealed. On one hand she is lying through her teeth to her family and sneaking around with Shyam, she thinks Arnav has misunderstood the situation and on the other she is smiling away attending the ARHI wedding ceremonies. Just does not make sense.
I agree that she is a weak woman; over sheltered by her family and is being manipulated by Shyam. She has a blind faith in her husband and is going to end up hurting Arnav very badly by her betrayal. But she will learn her lesson and pay a price for her blind obsession. There are days when i feel sorry for her and days when i just could not care less for her drama.
I think the reason the audience is so impatient with her is because of Daljeet's whole quitting drama and demanding more screen space, people would be more receptive to her plight if we did not know that her negotiations has brought on these track changes. Plus Daljeet fails to deliver as an actress; she has had maximum screen time this week and has all of 3 expressions which totally fails to connect with the audience.

Who is she manipulating @reguser? She is not being upfront and she does not want to disclose her secret rendezvous...but has she really manipulated any one into doing something for her own purpose?

Anjali is backstabbing her own brother here, I find it hard to think of her as a mother figure to Arnav. She saw him coming home with nasty clothes looking beating up but yet she never once question him about his kidnapping whereabouts.

She rather see Arnav death because she think Shyam is like god who loves her so much, Instead of going behind Arnav back like this she should tries to prove Shyam innocent if that's what she thinks! not only that but she's letting Shyam use Arnav credit card after knowing Arnav kick him out of the house.

Wasn't she crying once saying "My Chote is no longer mine" She thought Arnav lied to her just to spend times with Khushi but isn't she doing the same here? I can't watch or pay any attention to her scenes anymore. It's giving me a headache I fell like crying anything she's on screen.

Anjali seems to have memories lost she's forgetting all the times Khushi always referred to her fiance as Shyamji, How could she forget all the times she caught him in ArHi room or on Holli when Shyam tries to put colors on Khushi?

Thanks alot CVS! You done it again 👏

Too many loopholes by the cvs about why she is the way she is and also DB's acting is not helping either.

I am not feeling the story because there is no focus on the love story anymore.

1. In the past, she has manipulated Khushi to come and train LA
2. Both in the past & present, she manipulates Arnav all the time - by hiding/crying and saying that he doesn't care for her feelings - even when ASR screamed at Khushi first time when she came to train LA, Anji said Chotey has insulted her and not Khushi 😆
3. Nani/Mami/Akash - who loves her and trusts her
4. Finally she is manipulating us 😆 - by asking extra screen time 😆

Sush, Shyam manipulates for selfish and evil motives. But what Anjali does is also manipulating though there is no evil motives here. Taking our loved ones for granted and going against them without telling them the truth itself is a manipulation. It can not be called as weakness.

If she thinks properly, she can put things together and prove Shyam to be wrong.

Ha ha...Means...lately I have become a sucker for unpopular opinions...Must be getting a kick out of them!!!! 😛

In all fairness Means...leaving jokes aside...in Anjalis world...no one is bad...no one is wrong...Shyam, Khushi, Arnav, dadi...this is all just a misunderstanding that shall pass...perhaps that's what she did when her parents were fighting...no one was wrong...because she loved both of them...if they could just clear the. MU...and in her case perhaps wish hard upon a star...all the problems in this world could be solved...That's her defense mechanism to avoid pain...,,

May be you are right. In Anjali's world no one bad. Every one is good. And hence she is ok with everyone. But CVs should have shown some of her monologues to make things clear.
