I have been meaning to post my musings for Mr. G. Hegde, the Production House & last but not least Mr. B. Sobti...
Dear Mr. G. Hegde,
First of all GREAT, GREAT screenplay for this track, finally my daughter educated me to the difference between Screenplay, dialog, story etc. You write what the audience see, i.e., the visual as is.. with this in mind... excellent screenplay for the track given to you...
You are bringing together the characters, we are getting the family connectiveness and the flow is much better, events are not happening in isolation and with the abruptness that was the norm earlier...
There is everything one expects of a family..
1. interaction between the established married couple (Akash & Payal), who are getting more comfortable with each other (both the actors & the characters) - eg: today when Payal brushed past Akash to get something for Di.
2. Payal getting into the groove of bahu.. more involved in the family affairs interacting with other members rather than just standing with the pleated frown staring after either MIL or Hubby..
3. The sisterly bond is back.. Payal now stands by Khushi & vice-versa.. the interactions between them is now seamless..
4. The interactions between brothers is back too.. more awareness between what is happening in the other's life.. of course what I would love to see is little more leg pulling.. NK & Akash ganging up on Arnav.. they won't find him so vulnerable to pranks again.. or in such a mellow mood..
5. The brother/sister bond is now shown with little more story flow.. the slow thawing in Di's attitude, his concern in spite of being preoccupied with his wedding.. excellent..
6. The in-law family members including the Dadi interactions.. yes on the spot.. very clean.. very smooth flowing.. is helping the story move forward briskly.
7. Last but not the least... the Khushi-Arnav equation very balanced, absolutely perfect.. keeping them true to their respective characters & yet bringing about the subtle changes to them.. Arnav's getting Khushi back.. his gestures of love (ASR style of course!) getting ignored by Khushi.. his final outburst of love... and his singleminded determination to attain his goal.. yes.. again perfect... this is followed by Khushi greedily reveling in his love, returning it back 100%.. GREAT... perfect...
To Production House...
Ah.. wish I could be as complimentary.. sigh.. for the first time I am glad we don't get HD in US... on recent visit watched the episodes in India.. and appalled at the quality of the sets, clothes.. just each defect glaringly amplified in HD... the Arnav bedroom during Suhaag Raat.. the walls looked liked some 3rd rate hotel.. the floors even worst.. looked like a store room.. is but just one example... The bathroom tiles, one word ugh!! Actually the Gupta household is in much better state..
please clean up.. please be more aware of the HD format.. this is not Mr. Jha's TVs we audience watch..
