anjali is potrayed to be a sweet,compassionate,loving and understanding one in the beginning

khushi is sweet,compassionate,loving,understanding yet bubbly,impulsive

anjali believed in true love and thought she got it

khushi too believed in love and waited for her prince charming but got beast

anjali never faced problems,her brother fought her battles for her

khushi always fought her own battles

anjali faced tragedies and she built an imaginary world around her where everything's rosie

khushi has faced the tragedies built a cheery world around her where everyone is good

anjali has someone who can protect her without her even knowing what is coming her way

khushi has none but an adopted family who will jump the gun at the first opportunity given

anjali is stupid.dumb.delusional,manipulative,emotional blackmail queen

khushi is naive,honest,sacrificing,and righteous in her stance

anjali is attention seeking and wants the world to revolve around her

khushi is ready to give up her world to see some one smile and she doesnot mind standing in the shadows while her loved ones are happy

anjali is going behind her chotey's back for her love

khushi sacrificed her life and dreams for her sister's love

we can go on and on

but the list never ends

anjali is someone who is evolving into this delusional distressed damsel

while khushi is evolving as a strong and willed woman

anjali's case amuses me to no end

despite having everything,she still wants some more attention,some more love

that greed for some more will always be dangerous

whereas khushi is happy with what ever she has never asking others to love her in return

regarding money,i don't want to go that way

asr is the golden goose for anji and her creep whom they are exploiting to no end

My POV...Khushi is a fighter..has always been...Though Arnav has always loved her..She had to fight to bring out the humane side in him...Being an orphan...she has always been at the receiving end..Even at her own house...Smiling through her tears..is just her defense mechanism..doesn't mean she is not hurt..And somehow this fighter nature persists in ASR too..albeit in a different manner!!And that's why they gel well!!

Anjali..though orphaned at more horrible situations...has been always protected..treated like a porcelain doll...Somehow her family members are also at fault...Her brother has worshipped her like a God..And thus she has developed this sense of insecurity and fear which is more crippling than her physical deformity!!So whenever she feels her brother is going away from her..or her husband is not around her..she loses it!!You might call her selfish..might call her insecure...but you can't call her innocent..and I've a feeling now..that she 's a lot more complex character than her brother!!

Khushi is the ultimate heroine, or rather star out here- cause she is the one who has faced a lot in life..
Yes, Anjali's parents did commit suicide, but years later after that tragic incident- her life had been almost picture perfect, like they show in the movies, until now..
So perfective had her life been, that she fails to comprehend anything that goes against the 'happy ending' life.

No, leading a happy life is not bad!
Infact, her sweet and caring nature accounts for that!

But trusting her cunning husband over her devoted brother is something you would not expect of her!
She believes Arnav to be entangled in a web of misunderstanding..
Ironic, eh?

Now to Khushi- she never had the liabilities that Anjali was entitled to..
Yet even once did she complain!
She was forcefully married, insulted, humiliated- for no fault of hers!

Even when she didn't deserve what she got, she fought all life had to offer, for good or for worse!

She is completely entitled to the love Arnav is showering on her! :)

P.S: Yes, i do feel bad for Anjali..
But her delusional attitude is not up to my liking!
And that is the difference between the two characters!

trust me rima,even women with emotional problems and traumatic past can never be as delusional as anjali can be

the hurt khushi has gone through,tears and pain,humiliation and everything would lead to depression in real cases

it's too much to handle for some one as naive as khushi

someone who believes in world and her beliefs and dreams are shattered so cruelly

yet she stood tall

she is truly phoenix
