i think it will increase a bit may be somwhere between 2.8-3.0...but not more than that...but next week trp's will catch up since again marriage affair started

well let me give my POV

TRPs are not a work of a week or two

it is a sustained effort that takes months

Just as an image of anything cannot be built over a few ad campaigns, the TRPs of a show cannot reflect just tracks.

It is the overall impression. The feeling of people to watch the show...the need to catch it dot at 8.00 pm

on that quarter IPK failed regularly because from day to day people had nothing to look forward to exxcept ore and more humiliation for Khushi, less and less punishment for Shyam and even for ASR for getting away with so many things, and no torturous saas, no suspense element like tterminal disease or plotting in business...

in a nutshell, each IPK episode is emtertaining but not dramatic

playful and not intense

enjoyable yet not high on passions

so TRP did not rise for months

Now they are combining things

Suspense: will arhi get married

Saas: Dadi factor

Drama: The past and garima factor

Love agony; Arhi romance and temp separation

...It is 'I don't know what will happen' thing that gets the audience to the idiot box...and I am sure if they keep the temp it will rise

Most importatnly I have seen the script and direction has improved of late...this might improve trps

but do not expect it this week as i said it is a sustained effort

I absolutely agree on one point -- they let the bad forces win for TOOO LONG. only people with a great amount of patience and love for ARSHI could sit through that crap -- the guy won for more than a year. It showed that they either lost their marbles or their writing skills.

Secondly the "feel of the show" changed half way through. I wrote several RIPPING posts about this:

1. Suddenly Khushi stops saying "Hey Devi Mayya" and she forgot her mannerisms.

2. She wasnt as strong -- so what are people seeing?

3. They did some kidnap crap and changed Mami -- which was weird.

Honestly guys understanding the psychology of people is fundamental in bringing TRPs

So, let us look at why people watch TV -- they want to see their fav characters, laugh, cry and emote with them but at the end of it all go to bed thinking "well he/she is fine so things in my life will also be fine" -- that is the typical TV show person.

When you show a person getting attacked like it is some "GAMING and HUNTING show" and we have this beautiful deer being hunted every day and our suspense is "there is no one to protect her" so how long will she last?? What the hell kind of writing is that?

So, that is my take for the drop and the way to bring it back is

1. Bring back the good feeling.

2. Make the GOOD GUYS win for a change.

3. Create tension YES but do it in an environment where it is a "fair fight" and good has a chance of winning -- NOT torture of good.

It is very simple! They did it once -- get back on that horse and do it again.
