Not bashing but criticised for not taking care of his oily skin. 😆

I totally sympathize with Barun in this. I also have very oily skin and it's a pain for me during summer.

I agree with your comments re redux. i find they are mostly pro-barun. Even though they say they dont have any negativity in their posts, i beg to differ. in the last 2 days i have read negative comments made in the main forum by two redux regulars.

Do u know the meaning of Little Bit, and did u really saw those posts. well U will think of These many many 2 post every other page a little then yaa such a few post. Should have been 8 bashing posts for Barun in every page 😉

and dont even get me counting how many bashing posts Barun had and is getting everyday plz. As i think u will tell me i m basis

That said even i am not a teenager having a blind crush on BS, Nor did i know him before ipk..so i wont 'bash' u😆

Not all hugs are created equal. They are not all meant to be passionate. When you console, when you connect and forgive, when you nourish a need and when you want intimacy, all these hugs are different. And I think they all are fine. These two do not have problems with intimacy with each other, they are professionals. I thought the hug yesterday and the one today were perfect. There was no room for passion when Khushi is running into his arms because she got slapped. At that point it is just supposed to be compassion and I thoroughly enjoyed his hand in her hair. And today was about acceptance, as was their hug after the pearls - I thought it conveyed what it needed to - she accepts him and he is home. Not everything is a romantic passionate encounter.

As for Barun being oily - yeah he said it himself. And you are right, both Sanaya and Barun said they will not do liplocks...in a later interview, Barun said that he would if it were really necessary in the script.

I agree with Trina - the pace is fast and ASR has been in almost every single frame of the show with Khushi, Dadi, Di and the Guptas. I think he is plain overworked and he does in fact look tired. He has conveyed romance to disdain to defiance almost in every single episode for the past 2 weeks. It must be draining.

I am also tired of Barun/ASR constantly having a target on his back on this forum. The ASR is a 🤬 posts are replaced today by Barun can't do xyz. Takes me back to the early days of the forum. 😆

ya Barun Bashing post have really made this Forum the biggest one cuz Barun bashing post is being created every 2 mins and getting supported Vastly. He gets Bashed the most and Defended the least and still they complain

but first i want to say i did read a handful of the topics that raised this issue and they were NOT bashing!! barun/sarun fans were saying it..they were not barun haters..it was what they felt..
so can i make a request that u pls add to the opening post for the people who reply in this thread to not bring name calling here? people who need redemption is termed as a basher, person who thinks he doesn't hug properly is called a basher! this is not done!! it is a free world!!
there is a freaking thing called constructive criticism!!
If it is ok to swoon, it is ok to criticize too as long as it is sensible and doesn't cross the level of decency!!!
if it is ok to make an appreciation post(about Barun/Sanaya/SaRun/scene/storyline) with utmost seriousness and dedication, no one has the right to tell a post on disappointment to take a chill pill and take a break as it is just a show! it works both ways!!

Ok coming back to the actual topic of discussion i agree to most of ur points...

just take yesterday! i thought it was just perfect!! she was like a lost child seeking comfort and clung to him...
and he had just gotten a shock...and as we all know arnav's outlet for all emotions is anger..he saw the slap mark..he was shocked..and before his anger could fully rise she went in to his arms seeking comfort..so he was stuck b/w comforting Khsuhi, dealing with his own guilt and reining in his fury..it was brilliantly portrayed!!

so yesterday was one hug i thought was absolutely perfect!!👏

but since the kidnap track, there has been some messing up..may be not exactly barun's fault as much as the director's. but the recent suhagraat and the rakshabandhan hugs did leave a lot to be desired on his side..
suhagraat one is the one i am quite upset about, cz somehow his facial expressions didn't match the moment at all!!in the rakshabandhan thing well intensity is a relative thing..his expressions were spot on in it..

anyway apart from these 2 hugs i find other hugs seriously dead on..
just like Khushi's awkwardness in the almost kissing scenes is what the character & situation demanded, yesterday Arnav's reaction was what the situation demanded!
(am more focusing on yesterday as that is when this comparison began)

but well he might benefit if he does losen himself a bit in romance scenes though..Sanaya being a girl (not being sexist, but realistic for an Asian society) pulls off the hugs amazingly..she is the best hugger i have seen!!..so Barun needs to step up a little bit more..
or should i say Arshad direct him properly!!!

ok now the greasy look is VERY BAD!! the freaking makeup artist needs specs if he/she can't see this!! 😡
Barun looks worn out! his skin looks tired plain and simple!! he looks like he didn't get a good night's sleep in a long time!! just get him off the shoot for 1 full day and order him to sleep for a good 24 hours straight!!
having more screen space is not an excuse, cz until this dadi moment Sanaya was the one who was present in practically every single frame! and she does manage much better!! may be cz she does her own makeup and knows what works best for her and as we know she sleeps to & fro from the shoot just to catch up on rest..
may be barun should consider getting a driver too..may be temporarily..cz quite apart from the looks side he might get seriously sick!😲

and hair...GOD GET IT CUT!!! i honestly don't understand why it is so freaking hard to get him to cut his hair and clear the heavy sideburns!! it makes him look even more tired and worn out!!
he freaking production house+makeup artist+barun should try to get together and fix this!! they had it down pat perfect last year!! what the eff is wrong with them now?

as for the clothes department i want to walk up to the 4 Lions office and make a donation asking them to please give him some clothes that befits the status of THE Arnav Singh Raizada!!

phew...the rant is over!!!
