Day 7 continued

Needless the quality of human emotion we are seeing in these 12 days has touched the heart of most IPK viewers and it continues, If we passionately love Arnav & Khushi, equally passionately we hate Shyam and now the Dadi, who looks way beyond shyam too in conciet and deciet.

The episode tonite open once agn with buaji giving some words to Khushi abt her marriage and how Arnav is great that he taking steps to correct it, if only GH knew how arnav has forced Khushi, they would hv protected her with more faith, but trust khushi to sacrifice herself for the ppl she loves and today Arnav is the husband who she loves more than herself

In the ensuring scene we saw Dadi malign Khushi with words with marr her character and intentions to the level that a hurt buaji retaliates saying they will not gv Khushi, dadi seems content in getting what she had set out ,,, The whole innuendo here shows that dadi has preconcieved notions abt Khushi and her only aim is to outset Khushi from Arnav life, she isnt bothered with the effects/consequences of this on Arnav's life, how can this person be the matriach of the family who doesnt even gv others a chance to express themselves, narture them to struggle the with world in its daily fights is beyond me

One agn dadi returns at RM & inform the family abt the cancellation to marriage, Nani questions dadi, abt how could that happen and on the ensuring reply from Dadi, she responds back that Arnav was equally responsible for the marriage mess, She just redeemed herself for me for the earlier fiasco she made of herself in blaming Khushi earlier this morning, May be she questioned & blamed Khushi on dadis insistence bcz once agn today she is correct & just, like always she has been the wise matriach and Arnav listens to this while telling the family to continue the preparations whilst he goes and talks to buaji, not for a minute he thinks or questions anyone he just decides to take the matters int his hnad, like he knows the working of all the people involved, Dadi might know but Arna has spent his days with GH and he had understood them very well, I guess a certain knowledge from past is also helping him understand his Dadi,

Once he reached GH, he doesnt question buaji, instead he asks for Khushi, even realising their displeasure he still moves ahead to meet Khushi,Arnav has never cared for the world or the society at large, he has never looked for assurances or approvals, he has defied the set ways of the world and made his own path but now he is a changed man, he seeks approval of the one & only Khushi, his Khushi... once he enters the room, he wants to discuss with khushi, the reasons and happenings, but he looses the moment she hides herself from him but the moment he looks at her face, he is stunned, & Khushi just hugs him, for a moment I thought she hugged him bcz she was seeking comfort, but a few moments ltr I realised the hug was more Arnav for soothing him, she has understood that he gets hurt when his loved ones are in pain, so to calm him and sooth him she holds him, both find solace in each others arms,,, A very few couples are as Lucky as Arnav & Khushi who understand beyond the obvious in their partners life or heart even before it has been uttered that too after spending such short time together, PPL spend years together yet they not achieve the kind of understanding Arnav & Khushi hv been blessed

For a moment Arnav comforts Khushi but then he wants to gv it to person who has dared touch Khushi, Jus a few hrs back he had told buaji, NO ONE WAS ALLOWED TO LAY A FINGER ON HIS WIFE, LET ALONE SLAP & here is agn witnessing the same action, but Khushi holds him, he holds his arm and for the first time in the entire IPK we saw Arnav stopped back, he has been always impulsive and reactive but tonite he buys Khushi wisdom and just for her he stops and goes to buaji and tells her that he will be back to take his khushi in the way the world expects him to,,,

Kudos to Arnav here for not for a moment too he has considered him or khushi faulty in the worldly manners yet just for the sake of Khushi he is willing to walk the paths which are unknown to him, he very strongly tells buaji that even thought the whole issue has been blown excessively, he is willing to go ahead with what was discussed at RM, ie to bring shagun

In RM, everyone is speculating abt the shagun and he very clamly informs them that the shagun will proceed as decided, Anjali questions himbut he doesnt answer the details just that evrything will go as decided in RM with the shagun, in the whole scene here his eyes never waver from Dadi and when dadi moves from there, he very observantly tells her that he understands what she is trying to do

For me this looked a battle for Supermacy between the past & present, Dadi trying to mark her place in a family where she was a head 14 years back and had abonded that place willingly when she left for Arnav

&

at that moment a young 14 year old had to step in hold the world he valued and marked himself the head for that family which for past 14 years he has held in with great dedication & wisdom, he has stood by them, fought for them and hv protected them all along in these 14 years.

Dadi yesterday played a master stroke by playing with the family on religious & cermonial marriage which was incomplete and today Arnav replied her with the support of same family that Khushi & he will marry, for that family.

The family or moreover Nani yesterday had declared no one has a problem with Khushi, she the way they got married so today Arnav used that Advantage

and Finally the best scene the reflection of Arnav by the poolside, I clearly remember my journey with Redux started bcz in one of the discussion tants had said that Arnav is just and I had disagreed to some extent, for me upto a certain extent Arnav was vindictive but tonite I guess Tants was more correct than me.

Arnav stands by the pool and he is in pain for what he had witnessed with Khushi, he had never thought his actions will spiral into sumthing so hurtful for khushi, the myraid of emotions and merories his soul of his canvass disturbs him, each memory is like a spear peicing his existence, letting a drop of blood from his heart and he monolouge but the misery khushi faces due to his action is the very mirror of his soul which is equally pure as Khushi, the memories start from amrriage to throwing out in cold to her standing by him, when he least expected burn his soul in repentance, it was one of the best insight into this man, Arnav has found his passion in Khushi, His soul in Khushi, he will protect and win at all cost, the heart which he knows has belongs to Khushi now and Forever.

Thank You Team IPK for a wonderful, insightful episode which one agn reflects the discreapancies of human socity where a women which is holding the whole birth & socity in her palms is blamed agn n agn for no fault of her merely love she has for her loved ones

Especially after being away from them for 14/15 years. IMO she lost the right to have any say in his life the day she walked away. She walked away from all the responsibilities she had as an elder in the family, so why does she think she can exercise them now...and she has the nerve to call ASR's mother weak! Pshh
