The redemption has begun and Arnav goes to apologize rather than wallow in self pity... I give him a standing ovation...👏 A man who requires to put in so much of effort in saying happy birthday and also sorry when he blasted off at Khushi regarding parents not knowing she was kind of sailing in the same boat did not waste a second after realization dawned upon him... shows how far he has come... Khushi is bringing back in him various emotions... and one of them is feeling guilty if he's done something wrong... He is the same man who never apologized to anybody except maybe his Di... but Arnav Singh Raizada went to apologize... and this time it didn't require any practice... any hesitation was absent... because it was heartfelt and a much needed one...
Second, he doesn't ponder on for what he is apologizing... no... he knows he has hurt her enough of times to loose counting... so he doesn't prepare a speech... he goes there and says what he feels like... straight from the heart...
"I don't know how many times I've hurt you... but I am sorry for each and everyone of those times..." and we know that he is... he doesn't say for the contract, for forcing you to marry me, for calling you characterless, for believing you had an affair with Shyam, for not trusting you... nothing... Simple words... for each and everyone of those times...
AND THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT GESTURES FOR WHICH AN AWWW ESCAPED FROM MY MOUTH ON ITS OWN ACCORD...
he took her hand... why? he needs strength to apologize... and he needs assurance that she will forgive him... even though deep down he knows she will... we need someone in our most vulnerable of times... and Khushi is the girl Arnav needs in his most weak moments... Khushi was probably the first person he opened upto about his mom... and the way Khushi rushed to him and hugged him conveyed she was there with him whenever he needed her... and he needs her again... for forgiveness...
HE STOOD UP AND SAID SORRY... was it necessary?? We would all have been shouting for hand holding if he wouldn't have held her hand... but standing up? thats the reason my respect grew for him again!
according to etiquette, you should not be seated if a person who is senior to you whether in age or post is standing... if there's a single chair you stand and let the senior person sit... why??? because its a mark of respect... when Arnav stood up to apologize... first time I was too awed to react... second time I saw it I was like OMG... with that simple gesture he just conveyed how much he respects her... its not just love... its a lot more... he realized how much this girl has done for him and he wants to convey that he respects her for all of that...
I don't know what I've written... if I'm thinking too much... but his standing up to apologize was big for me... what do you think???
