The intro paragraph and the closing just about touched a chord! They brought everything into perspective. And loved the way you highlighted the social and cultural backdrop of the society we live in... always ready to the stigmatize women.
A point of disagreement...though Naani redeemed herself at the end, I couldn't accept her silence when Daadi kept on going about Khushi's halki sanskar, upbringing as it nullifies all the months where Naani reiterated how perfect Khushi's upbringing has been. She could have said or even rebuked Khushi, something in the tone of "I've always talked about how great you upbringing is, how did you make the mistake" Her silence killed me

Hi Priya - Loved your post….Always wanted to make a meaningful post here other than the usual 1-liners...I wish had the time to read all the posts here...There are some wonderful posts here...I have to admit I rarely get to read them...There is only 24hrs in a day *sigh* and real life beckons...😆

I had much the same questions like you did….Is he even watching his pregnant wife or just plain obsessing over his saale saab and Khushiji?😆 You raised some interesting points especially how judgmental we are…The forum is a great example…

I liked yest's episode but there was mixed review on the hangout. Some were upset ASR didn't do enough; some upset over Dhaiyya ho's re-entry and others over a regressive society. Regressive society maybe a thing of the past for some of us but it is alive and thriving in most parts of the world in some shape or form.

Women complain about regressive society but a good example was yest's scene. What did all the women do? Nani & Anjali joined Dadi, fully knowing it had to do w/Shyam. Mamiji was making faces approving dadi's stance….Shouldn't chote also be part of the drama? He erred too…Why wasn't he called by nani? Why just gang up on the woman and raise questions on her upbringing? Why was it her parents fault, the ladkiwale's? Most often women are victimizing other women and that is a fact we cannot deny….

At least ASR tried….He fixed his mess much against his own beliefs. He didn't own up to the blackmailing but that will come with time….Give the man a break, he is trying….

Did that sound like a rant?😆 But what do people want is the question I have been asking myself...No to Shyam, no to ASR's boorish behavior, no to regressive society...What else can they show to take this story forward, romance and more romance?😆
