Priya! 🤗 Just caught up with the past 2 Crooners - loving it big big time! Especially love the "Dear Creatives" portion - both yesterday and today!
What an episode Monday was - and how beautifully you have captured it - the pictures were just gorgeous! Sanaya just looked like a dream, and I loved her hairstyle! And the whole thing that just went perfect when he said "I love you dammit" on the terrace - just utterly brilliant! And the callback to Heer Ranjha - just wowed me! Damn, how I wish I'd written yesterday!
Anyway coming to today - as I said, poetic and fun! 😉 And seriously, an exact six months! What planning I say! 😆 And what a dialogue "main apni patni se phir shaadi karne ke liye tayyar hoon"! And when he stopped Buaji from slapping Khushi, even my mom went "Oh my God humara hero aa gaya! Yayyy!" He was just not letting go of the fact that in his eyes and his heart, he was very sure that Khushi was his wife!
The Daiyya Ho - I was going totally what the at it! A TV screen, really? Couldn't his entry have been even a little better?! It totally didn't give me either goosebumps that our villain is back - and neither did it make me feel oh my God, he is going to foil the wedding! It just lacked a punch that was very needed.
Usain Bolt se bhi zyada fast we are running, I don't know why, but it has me really scared to be honest. I am hoping for a long-drawn wedding with all the rasms and everything - but I just feel sorry for poor Arnav - how much he will have to put up with! And I'm hoping this "separation" will lead to some good moments between Arnav and Khushi (and by good, I obviously mean romantic! 😳) The "hum bhi I love you dammit" was utterly utterly cute and I just fell in love with it - again I wish there had been a little more fanfare to it though!
Absolutely spot-on about Nani Priya! She was as usual her fair self and the minute Arnav agreed to the rasms, I loved how her face lit up! On the other hand, the kameeni Dadi! 😡 "Avaidh sambandh" and all that crap that she threw on Khushi's face - I just found it unbearable. Will someone please just for God's sake shut her the @#$@ up! 😡 But I loved the shock on her face when Arnav agreed to do the marriage again - muhahaha! Here's to you Dadi! I am so sure she will try to throw a spanner in the works at every stage!
I am also appalled that Nani and Anjali stood there and listened to all that, knowing how and what Khushi is, and still allowing her to be maligned in the dirtiest possible way like that. I didn't say much even when Shyam kept saying all kinds of things just before he got slapped by Arnav, but yesterday - it was an insult to Khushi's dignity, her womanhood, her self-respect, her sanskaar, and her love for Arnav, in the worst possible way. I also cannot believe how Arnav got away without being questioned - why question Khushi? Everyone knew Arnav dragged her to marry her - then why question only Khushi, when Arnav was not even around? Sorry but it really is too much to bear that Khushi gets questioned and verbally abused in the worst way possible.
I've said this before too - her love is never in question - Khushi loves Arnav from her very being, and yet when it comes to the marriage, she has always been so confused about it from the beginning. Nani and Payal and their assertion that a marriage is not complete till the pheras are done are playing on her mind. She knows that if she lets herself get into this, feeling still that her marriage was not complete (no matter how much she wanted to), she would feel guilt, and that's not what she should be feeling when she is with the man she loves. So she wants her marriage to be solemnized with all the rituals that make up a marriage in every way possible - that's her belief system! That's why she was shocked when Lavanya was ready to live in with Arnav - that's why she tried to convince her that she needs to press for marriage - that is how Khushi is from the beginning. It doesn't stop her from being and believing that she is truly Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada - she just wants the loops closed on things as much as we do!
Sorry for the rant - haven't caught up with any of the posts yet but I had things pending for the last 2-3 days that just came pouring out today! And just waiting to see the shaadi that's lined up for us - may it last long and be extremely dragged and bring us much joy! 😳 Off to catch up now with posts!
