Do the rituals make people stay in their marriages? I doubt it, at least not in this generation. There are numerous other reasons, but, rituals? safe to say that i have never heard of that one so far!

Its the unshakable trust and honesty that gives rise to a deep love for the other, which makes for a beautiful marriage. And this kind of relationship is what makes the vows we take sacred.

So, yes, Arnav's commitment to Kushi is definitely about an unquestionable trust, honesty, and a love that literally makes his heart swell and tip over. Does he need rituals, especially after seeing his parent's and Di's marriage fail? Obviously not.

Is kushi on the same wavelength as him? No, obviously not. She is yet to develop a discriminating sense. Isn't she the same girl who taught Lavanya about the importance of marriage? How did she forget the rasams? How, in spite of believing that her marriage wasn't complete, did she spend the night in the same room, not to mention the same bed as Arnav? Is this something the CVs threw in to skip the SR and keep us hanging? I don't know, but something about Kushi's thought process doesn't make sense to me... because she is probably going back to the same room & bed...

Oh, for all the people crying rape out there... how does it make things ok if Arnav goes through the rituals without believing in them? Wouldn't the same people be crying 'hypocrite' then? Besides, Kushi didn't back out of the hug or give any hints to the contrary when arnav touched her face (in fact, go back and look at her expression!!!)... so how should our poor bitwa know that she is not interested?!!! Chill all, i think if the role was reversed, they would scream about how insuling it was to Kushi... there is no pleasing some.

In Khushi's and Arnav's case its different because they are really deeply in love and Arnav is known for his faithfulness.. But in reality you need to be in a society filled with norms which are there for a reason. Of course the argument will continue as people will misuse on both sides..

That terrace at RM is haunted! yes, last time Arnav saw Kushi and Shyam there and that FB haunted him for days... Now we poor souls witness Arnav grabbing kushi by her arms with anger and screams "that I love you damn it" ... this FB is haunting me from yesterday... And what is with that guffy smile that I seem to wear from that time heard this?

Ok off to the episode analysis!

presenting to you people today's Anjarai Petti

Anjali is back from her secret date with shyam and receives a message from him... She is texting him back when mami comes to sit near her. She immediately hides her mobile, mami's suspections arise, but Anjali covers it up for time being...
Mind voice: I really liked that mami is suspective of Anjali's behaviour for quiet a few episodes.. A true mom will always know what her daughter is upto... She looks out for her daughter and corrects her path if she is going on a wrong path.. Here the daughter is already married but is keeoing secrets just like a teenage girl who has fallen in love. Will Mami be the one who will find out evenually? or will shyam make a come back before that?

This guy has patiently waited for days! and then comes kushi who tells him she saw him in all his glory and they break a bed and then from the horse mouth comes a dialogue- we havent done anything a husband and wife does...and she proceeds to say what all they didnt do.. which ends with SR! That is all the guy can take... and he needs her! and he also gave her enough time to get prepared mentally... He kept reminding her, teasing her all day...
Mind voice: and to add to it... her saree and her blouse! oof... semma hot machi! if it is like this for us Ladies! how will it be for the guy who has haq but still has controlled it for days now?

while the pooja happens, Arnav steals coy looks at kushi.. Kushi does the same too but is tensed! The pooja is done and the young couple take the blessings of the elders. Nani being the darling she is, asks the young couple for more babies to increase the population of RM. Akaash says they are still babies..
Mind voice: Arrey, I thought you both did IT already? did you do it or not?
Arnav picks up on the cue and tells kushi her own dialogue that they have to listen to elders...as if he listens to whatever nani says... and he asks her to follow him!
Mind voice: naangalam yaaru? kariyathula kanna irupomla!

Kushi is nervous like all naive newly wedded brides are! How can she just follow him and do it? she delays a little feigning work!, he follows her and asks her to come to the room-look at his eyes.. his desperation- beautifully emoted!
Mind voice: arrey go Kushi, you dont want him to take you right there in the kitchen do you?

Finally Nani asks her to do something and Kushi is saved again... Oh No she is not, she got into more trouble.. and the lion roars in front of his family to come to the room... does the family understands the situation? no indication of smirks... but Kushi is terrified and follows him to room. She is angry that he was rude to her in front of the family but he shoves a gift pack on her hands and asks her to change
Mind voice: I want to see you in this.. go change this instant! Another minute if she had stood there, he would have ripped her saree and hot blouse off her...

Kushi peeps out and finds her pati paremeshwar sitting in all glory amongst candle lights and decorated bed! He has worked in the speed of light to decorate their room for their SuhaagRaat! Either this guy is really fast or Kushi took ages to come out in that attire...
mind voice: Haiyee you didnt change? why why ? sattai mela evalo buttons... tough for kushi to unbutton everything dude! you give her something which is easy for you to remove.. likewise could have made it simpler for her na? bad boy!

Arnav waits for what seems like eternity and then hears her payal and turns back to find her hiding behind the closet. He asks her to come out, but she is feeling shy shy and is covering her 3 inch midriff and 4 inch neck line and exposing quiet generously her back which is completely covered by 3 thin doris
mind voice: Kushi, you naughty girl, you show him the back, so he could start off with untieing those doris eh? smart girl

He asks her to come near him... or he will come to her...Why am I hearing this come very often nowadays?
Mind voice: Ladies do you all remember the "ahem" "ahem" discussion we had on the word "come" when we thought the SR will be in SUV?

The girl is flustered that the dupatta is missing but it happens that the pati has taken it purposely! he doesnt bid her to come and take it like the last time but goes to her and pulls her to the middle of the room...She is still shy, while he drapes the dupatta around her head and he carries her to the bed!
Mind voice: The scene was beautifully done- rather very naturally done- Kudos to the director and the actors who brought out the perfect emotions of a naive wife for whom its a first time and a desperate husband who is in love and wants to take it to the next level

Kushi is in love, but she is not ready yet for the intimacy that Arnav yearns for, her eyes fall on Radha Krishna idol placed and she instantly remembers the pheras! She stops him and first he is all ok ok about it and asks her what happened. When she tells him about the adoori wedding rituals, he snaps and drags her to the terrace. While she is looking at him shocked, he breaks some wooden stools and creates a fire to complete their adoori wedding- just like last time, with only them - under the sky, as the stars look over! Arnav tells her that they have the fire and carries her around the fire... while she demands for this to be done properly in the family's presence and pandit's presence, he asks her if he should do 7 or 8 rounds!
Mind voice: ada ada ada... paiya pulla romba kanju kidaku pola! ipadi patini potutiye ma!

Quoting line:
ithupondra visayathil un pechu uthavathu!...

Krishna and Radha send them off to the terrace to compelte the adoori wedding rituals, that Arnav doesnt believe but is ready to do for the sake of his wife. The last time when they tied the knot, it was DM who was in front of them... But now, Dadi makes her elite presence when Arnav does this ritual in style. Kushi keeps shouting at Arnav the truth which was safe guarded by them this long. Dadi makes an entry. Arnav refuses to let kushi down- His viewpoint clear- he is not doing anything wrong - he is with is wife! the elder lady moves from there to maitain her dignity!
Mindvoice: enna dadi neenga? Chinnanchirusunga etho pannitu pothunga... terrace la satham vantha odane vanthu pathudratha? unga hot headed perapulla vera ethavathu pannitu irunthiruntha? che che... apovum avan niruthi iruka matan... next time usharu!

Kushi and Arnav fight again about the rituals... Kushi asks him if he is not bothered about all these rituals what else is important to him.. he grabs her by her arms and shouts- "that I love you damn it" pushes her away and walks angrily from there! it takes a moment for Kushi to sink in the meaning of his sentence and then she bursts out in happiness and revels in the beauty of this confession!
Mind voice: he is off to take a cold shower... and the girl has to patafy him now... Lets see how it goes from here!
