AMAZING post! Everything you said is exactly what was going through my mind during the episode.
The man has been horny for over a year now. He's no less than Superman for the amount of self-control he's shown. I'm starting to think he's not even human 😆 And yes, when the woman you're trying to get it on with is the one who cockblocks you, why wouldn't you get frustrated and rage like a bull? So I totally understand where Arnav was coming from today. And it's nice that he feels they should do the deed because they're meant for each other, period. Not because they're "married" or because he just hasn't gotten any action in a while, but because he feels their feelings are more important than anything else. I, for one, have nothing against pre-marital sex as long as the people involved are sure that they truly love each other.
However, I also understand where Khushi was coming from. But one thing I didn't like, and it's the CV's fault, is that since we all know how traditional Khushi is and how much she understands and values the concept of marriage, why the hell did it take her 6 whole months to realize that this marriage isn't "complete?" Even though a lot of us consider a registered marriage as legitimate, whether or not there are rituals involved, Khushi obviously doesn't. She needs to go through each and every ceremony to feel that her marriage is complete. So why did it take Nani's words about pheres to make her realize that she doesn't consider what is between her and Arnav a proper marriage? If the CV's had been consistent with her character, they would have shown her realizing this on the night of their wedding 6 months back *sigh*
But damn whoever put that Radha-Krishna murti there. I was hoping for at least ONE kiss before the girl came to her senses 😆, which she inevitably would have w/ or w/o the murti present because that's just how worried and uncomfortable she is with their situation.
Dang, they both were truly in their characters today, after a really long time, but with the changes of the past 6 months clearly visible. Arnav was ASR again- stubborn, frustrated, ANGRY, but also desperate and longing because he really loves this girl. Khushi was KKG again- stubborn, traditional, argumentative, but willing to accept Arnav as her husband as long as they went through the proper rituals.
These two have come a long way, that's for sure. Nice episode, overall. Missed the intrinsic traits in Arnav and Khushi that have been gone for far too long.
