Indian television is regressive in nature and IPK is way ahead. Even though it has some issues it is a zillion times better than anything on TV.

Bro-sis relationship is a uncharted territory in Indian telly, but it is unlikely to work

Arnav proved again and again that he is very selfish .. he ruined Khushi's image in front of her and his family .. and when he know that he was wrong, he didn't try to recover his mistakes to not lose his respect and image in front of the family .. because if they know how mean he was with her , they will look at him with different look ..

And also, when Khushi told him about her concerns about their marriage,, he didn't try to recover his mistake, and make her dreams true .. Instead , he only thought about his needs and desires ( I still have a hope that he was ONLY teasing her ) ..

After the ends of the kidnapping track, TRP increased ,People thought that finally, after 13 months waiting, Khushi will get her right, Khushi will get the respect that she deserve, and Arnav will show the regret of all the uncountable hurtful thing he did for her ,,
That was just an illusion .. and after very few weeks it return back to be around 2.5 just as how it was during the boring kidnapping track ..

I used to love Arnav as a fictional character - only- , but now , he irritate me a lot , even as a fictional character ..

😆 quite hilarious and so true
i want those days back when i enjoyed every episode that left me with a smile and an eagerness to see the next when both were equally brilliant and shone
when both made sense when both had chemistry which led to speculation over biology and admiration over physics for the way he was always able to catch her
there were no maniacal phangurls
no angst over character decimation
just magical moments even without RV
the good ol days of IPKKND now gone forever

If even they try to sell bro-sis relationship , who would want to watch Arnav -Anjali?
Dont we have enough clingy, needy women in those Saas bahu shows?
KKG was the main attraction but these days I just cant say much.

Swathi, my dear girl those days seem like a light year away.
These days its only OMG..OMG AND "I am dead", "thud".
80 percent topics are all about ASR and his phangurls, 10 percent are all about sweets and aromatic chariots and their puzzles and the remaining 10 percent are we, "bashing" ASR .
LOL

KKG is what attracted me to the show in the first place. Her innocence floored me, her eyes when she fell in Arnav's arms told me everything about her. I cannot put the feeling in words, sanaya was fantastic in that.

ASR too I found interesting but was not relatable to a major extent, I felt KKG emotions and that is what always made me cry.

First of all , I love your IF ID.
Didi ki saut, It is so apt.
Yes , I also started watching this show for KKG only last October.
And the rest they say was history.
Now it feels like we are watching her comical Twin sister.
ASR was also interesting because I deal with men like ASR in my profession almost everyday.
But now I feel why the hell did I got addicted to this show?
Damn it.LOL

I hate aromatic chariots for being a despo for being popular in IF

And dear we are huge in number, not in minority.
Minority are those who think Redemption aint needed

Ya its really hilarious ..
Specially If we compare Arnav's behavior with Khushi before, and now .. We can see that now he is much better with her - ostensibly -..

But the difference , He was regretting, and feeling bad after every harsh word he said to her .. we can see that he too was hurt ..

and now , he is very cold toward Khushi's feelings .. he didn't show the same regret and hurt that he used to show previously, though now, it much needed ..
(The worst scene in POV was when he was laughing after knowing that Khushi lied and left RM because of the contract marriage .. he show how much he is careless toward Khushi feelings ..🤢)

Previously, I loved him , and I was waiting eagerly for the day when he will know that he wronged Khushi and torture her when it was not her fault .. I was expecting an intense emotional scene - at least match the intense pain in the scene which was after knowing that Anjali is pregnant -
But unfortunately, we even didn't get a scene - similar to the scene when Arnav was feeling bad for Lavanya , after breaking up with her - ( I felt that he regret for what he did to Lavanya more than his regret for what he did to Khushi !! !!😛)

I don't know what is the wrong , but I'm really missing LM .. everything got worse and worse after the Holi's episodes .. : (

*Sigh* I am always late to the discussion...
Apologies Rima...

Coming to the post...it was BRILLIANT!
Trust me...I am so tired of the posts that say that we are not ASR fans or we can't see Arnav & Khushi happy just because we demand a sincere redemption...
What are we asking for? Arnav to realize all the wrong he has done and apologize for his mistakes. That's all we want. I want to see them happy too. And this is the way they will stay happy and their relationship will take a step forward. Saying sorry doesn't spoil one's image...infact, it makes you a greater person, which Arnav is. Remember the time when Arnav apologized to Khushi the first time on the day of his parents' barsi because he didn't know about Khushi's parents? I clearly remember him saying sorry twice and also remember him crying. Was he out of his character then? No, he wasn't. And Khushi was very happy that he had apologized. It made her forget the way he had rudely talked to her on the day of the barsi when she had come to his room to console him and the next day she had smiled at him, a genuine smile.
Similarly, if today Arnav apologizes to Khushi for all the pain he inflicted on her and gives her her dream marriage, he won't be out of his character and Khushi will also be able to leave the baggage of her painful past behind, hold her husband's hand and move on.
And that will be the day ASR will truly redeem and things will get even more beautiful than they already are.

Thanks a ton Rima for yet another wonderful post.
