I agree, it's more of a cold civility she holds towards her now, which also says a lot about her ability to forgive others. It seems once people have entered her bad books, it becomes difficult for them to be removed from it! But there has also been a slight shift in Anjali's character, which is probably why I hold some of the earlier thoughts..her previous monologues displayed helplessness and pain at not being able to understand those around her. But then, Shyam hadn't made contact at that point...so I guess now that he's filling her ears, her cold civility has more of a purpose?
