I came back home just a while back after tying Rakhi to my brother and switched on the TV to this beautiful Raksha Bandhan Episode in IPK land... The sister in me felt the connection to Anjali and Arnav's love for each other... So my Dear Friends... Welcome to yet another edition of Director's Cut... let's see what the emotional roller coaster ride the Director wanted to take us on tonight !!!

Today when I started writing about the beautiful bond between a brother and sister... I deleted and edited I don't know how many times... what should I write... what should I leave !!! There are no words that can describe the bond between a brother and a sister... so who am I to give words to this beautiful feeling !

If yesterday, Anjali felt betrayed by Arnav and Khushi... today she was over the moon with happiness to see her chhotey... the way she always wanted to see ! Arnav Singh Raizada has never worn a Churidar Kurta... probably the last time Arnav wore an Indian attire, was on Anjali's first wedding... the wedding that broke, the day that brings nightmares to him... even to date ! For him, everything associated with that day is taboo... even the mention of his mother !!!

For him, Anjali is his mother... now and forever ! And for her happiness, he can go to any length... even wear the dreaded clothes that he so hates !!! That one smile from Anjali, makes him forget all the bad memories... for he knows, his mother is nowhere else... but right here... in front of him !


As I said... words don't do justice to the bond between a brother and a sister... so I leave you all with these beautiful images... in Arnav and Anjali's words !

1. Akash has returned from his week-long trip from Mumbai... do we still see some tension between him and Payal? Although, later they worked together for Rakhi...

2. Maami is on her usual anti-Gupta sister tirade... Is Arnav's temper rising?

3. Arnav knows the Indian attire was Khushi's idea, not NK's... will he be upset over the fact that she didn't talk to him directly or will he love her even more for this gesture !?!

4. Arnav got some jewelry boxes delivered... Is there one for Khushi too?

5. So who is Anjali really talking to? Is it someone we know... or has she started hallucinating !?! Inbhestigation Kare Ka Padi...

6. So Apart from Maami, now Khushi also has seen Anjali talking to someone... Do we see Maami and Khushi bonding again in the near future???

7. NK... 😍 By now you all must have known my love for this guy... He brings smiles to me... Big ones 😃 every time he is on screen... Love his bonding with Khushi !

An episode that left me feeling a bit melancholy in spite of the auspicious occasion of rakhi. Khushi returns home with her husband on this auspicious day. She looks absolutely gorgeous in that new gold and red dress of hers. Was it the same designer who designed that dress she wore in the office scene a couple of days ago?

There were subtle undercurrents flowing in all the relationships and I will try to highlight those today.

Anjali-Khushi-Arnav ' Anjali was polite but cold towards Khushi. She was probably hurt that she had lied to her about buaji's illness. The insecurity has resurfaced. Note that it never went away, not even when Chote assured her that she will always have her own place in his life. She convinced herself then that things were the same, but fears deep inside that things will perhaps never be the same again. Who does she hold responsible for all this? Yeah, no points for guessing that one😊

So why am I feeling melancholy? Is it because Anjali was cold towards Khushi? I initially thought that that was the case, but in thinking a little more realized that no, that's not it. Anjali's reaction was not unexpected. My heart felt heavy for the girl who after going through so much again put the same di ahead of her just to bring a smile on her face. This didn't go unnoticed by the mighty ASR. He knew exactly the brain behind him wearing the kurta. He probably fell in love with her a little bit more that very instant'

Arnav-Khushi - Arnav carries her bag when they enter their home and then takes it with him to his room when he goes there. The possessive and obsessive lover is at play here. He showed again that he just can't breathe without her.
