If you've seen the video, you'll know what I'm thinking of. Everything everyone's worked for is about to fall apart.
Apart from the pain and heartbreak that was so raw and hitting. The thing I was struck with is the falling of the house of cards, of the illusions, of the efforts gone to waste, of the pain seeping through, of the love overwhelming, of the betrayals scarring.
Years ago, everything Arnav's mother built with love and compassion was wasted when her husband betrayed her. Years of marriage and trust broken when her husband betrayed her. The lives of her children, her family and the recipient of her husband's misconducts was ruined, all because of one man: Arnav's father. One moment of sinning and it all was gone with the wind, leaving only the remains and ruins.
Now years later, the children of that man had painstakingly rebuilt everything, with the help of their maternal family. Everything was rebuilt, but the scars were merely covered up, not healed. All was well... till the entrance of one maiden where it all began... or shall we say ended. She was everything Arnav Singh Raizada wanted to desperately avoid and in his folly, he pushed both her and himself into begin to topple the proverbial house of cards.
He put her in the path of his treacherous brother-in-law and time and again, Arnav Singh Raizada pushed his Queen into corner where she had no choice but to shake the foundation of their fragile illusion. By releasing the video, by breaking her heart on Diwali, by marrying her forcefully, by not giving her a chance and by lashing out at her in anger, both have been forced to break apart everything they've worked so hard for.
Out of all of the people in their lives, Arnav Singh Raizada is the only person who knows what he wants and has the power to control everyone's destiny, be it Khushi's, Anjali's, Payash's and of the rest. He and Shyam are the only ones capable of breaking the barriers and fight with guns blazing. Khushi and Anjali have always been and will always be the catalyst that sets them going.
By releasing the video, Arnav put Shyam in Khushi's path and inadvertently, broke his sister's world.
By helping Khushi get a job at AR, Shyam made in possible for Arnav and Khushi to interact and unknowingly forged a path to his own ousting from RM.
By breaking her heart in Diwali, Arnav pushed Khushi into locking her heart, leading her to close her heart off for good.
By marrying her forcefully, Arnav broke Khushi's dreams and created a crack in the relationship with his sister that he wanted never to exist on the first place.
By not giving Khushi a chance, Arnav is at a point where he is at a loss at what to do.
By lashing out at anger, Arnav is afraid that he is going to lose Khushi forever.
If you think about it, if Arnav's father hadn't gone off the bend, then non of this would happen. And if Arnav and Khushi hadn't stumbled on each other, then this again wouldn't happen. Arnav was actually right when he said that Khushi was the catalyst. But he doesn't agree with that statement himself. Of course not!
Once again, by not trusting his heart, Arnav chose to leave Khushi and got kidnapped and literally got some sense knocked into him. He came back and he and Khushi shook the foundation of everything they've all worked so hard to built, be it Anjali's illusion, Khushi and Arnav's vow to protect Anjali, the family's promise to remain together and Shyam's vow for revenge and money.
Then today, they are again at a crossroad where which ever path they take, ultimately they will have to break every single they've fought for just so that they can build stronger and more enduring bonds than before. They're going to have to break each and every single bubble that every single one of the family members have built, just so they can start all over again. They need to stop playing games and stop lying. They cannot let everything fade away just like that. It means too much to them and they cannot let that happen.
This song is dedicated to Arnav Singh Raizada. His desperation, pain, fear, and determination have moved me once again. He is truly one confused soul who has finally found his light and he refuses to let of it. How can he, when he knows that light wished to remain beside him at all times?

A wonderful episode. But for me, the thing that touched me was the desperation to hold onto something, anything, to save oneself from more pain, not realising, or rather, denying that the thing you want and need is what you wish to protect by separating and that one person is doing all he can to prevent it.
Barun and Sanaya... can I really ever express how wonderfully you truly become Arnav and Khushi? No I can't, and so I won't bother. Loved the episode! And sorry for the late update!
