Wow, did I come back to bliss or what? 😆 The CVs saved the best for last and absolutely did not disappoint...every scene in Friday's episode was a delight to watch...My silly smile never waned even for a minute...

Yeah, "hi" alright...He hears the payals signaling her return to him! Wheeling, dealing, wooing...our suave, and ever shaatir ASR has everyone in his fold. From Shuklaji to Happyji, all respecting the pati's decree. The countdown starts for 24 hours of all things Arnav-Khushi. He has planned for it. Thousand rupees for every hour, only because she is not allowing him to pay the rent. The charm offensive on full display as he neutralizes her ego into her "haq" as his wife; after a very poignant reminder to her that their egos are well-matched. Smirks share space with stares, hands shake, and for the first time, Khushi stands firm as her beloved walks towards her! Her work is cut out for her & she knows it...She'll do whatever it takes without backing down. He appreciates her stance; clearly, this is the best deal he's ever made, and he knows it...Getting his flirt on, he's in it for the kill, to make her his...seemingly on his terms.😎

He enters the GH into what she says is their "last" deal. His coffee is sugar-free, but his doses of "sweetness", laced in humor, are evident from the get-go. The "haq" to call him "Arnav"; no "ji" required--given to his wife. All he wants to do is spend time with her...Engage her in all things Khushi!! Talk to me, sing to me, dance for me...her creativity is his entertainment...all the things he has enjoyed her do...He watches her with rapt attention...He can't see beyond her face...The man who never smiled, now can't suppress grinning at every word and movement from her...His love and adoration for her so evident in those eyes! Ah, can this 24 hour period go on FOREVER??!!!😍

Her fall brings them back to their reality. Never wanting to give up, she tries to walk away...His concern for her confuses her...Her hurt so evident, deep within..."Khushi, I am sorry I hurt you..." No other words spoken as her eyes acknowledge what he said. The day before she had asked for forgiveness for leaving him, today it is his turn...He never meant to hurt her, either. His hands on her ankles as he tries to heal her brings back memories for both...she is affected...back in time...another place. The same emotions, then suppressed; not allowed to be acknowledged. Today, he uses her payals to break their silence and become a point of conversation...connecting them to the one "hamesha" in that sweet orphan's life. The very payals he once rebuked in front of her, today become a reverential "beautiful" to him in his hands. What he failed to say that Diwali night when she questioned him, finally answered. His comment to her mother's most precious gift gracing her ankles is not lost on her. Coming full circle as she watches his eyes...a genuine cognizance for her and them; she tries desperately not to be affected because she still remembers the pain...Her silence speaks volumes to him...a prelude to what is on the horizon. Priya, your words are so true...he will do everything now to make her "dream" a reality. Create that new "hamesha" for her.

I couldn't help but think of Arnav's Amma's kangans when I watched this scene...when will we see the significance of those bangles? When will he caress those wrists? That letter accompanying them--which a mother so lovingly wrote for that bride who will one day capture her little recluse boy's heart--that Prince of Tides! When will she ever get to read it? So that she can help affirm his own "hamesha", too. I can't wait for that moment!

Their coming full circle doesn't end--that slip in the kitchen-as he pulls her to him, arms securely around her, breathes her in; complete possession-so reminiscent of that October day as she prepared the rangoli; another fall when the dhak-dhak was in full swing for Khushi...will she allow herself to feel and relive it again? When the "us" was still in its nascent stage! Will he help remind her of that time, and show her how far they've come?

Other thoughts~

~Anjali-Chotey convo: Absolutely loved it...His concern for her; checking up on her. She wants to share her joyous moment with him; his happiness is evident. But he does not leave his wife to come back to his sister. Anjali's tears at the end speak of the turmoil and the despair she still feels...Healing is never easy.

~ASR's dialogues were the star of the show today! My favorite: "tumhe jaante hue bhi aisi offer de raha hoon, dimaag toh mera obviously kharaab hai"🤣

~Level of comfort: GH has now become a destination to stay for ASR; no invitation required.

~Doc "Luv"😍 Carrying her to get the clothes...Aur kya prescribe karega?😉

~The GH ladeej: Blushing Garima🤣, welcoming Madhumati, both so respectful and ever ready to give space to this young couple. Understanding their need for privacy and to be together, even if they haven't explained why they are there! Round of applause for keeping it real!

~Khushi muttering under her breath: If only she would vocalize the "what else" she would say to him, Arnav could write a book on all things Sanaka!😆

~Loved her business news report...Suvi, even Mr. Dhokla is aware that ASR ain't working!!!😆

~Retrieving saved cash from behind Sallu's posters!🤣🤣

~Loved the background score today...a throwback to classic IPK...

PRECAP: "Silences speak the language of the heart and the soul"...thats an Anjali original😃...Their most significant conversation to date "as a couple", IMO. Priya, you told us we would get an intense scene on the horizon...I think this is it. Ah, Monday!😍 *So dead*

Sobti's eyes never rested in this epi...and the smiles never stopped...His voice modulation is par excellence! I have to admire the easy chemistry between SaRun...They just flow so naturally and in synch in these scenes...It is so hard to imagine that we are watching "just a fictional show." Kudos to the entire team--yet again--for conceptualizing and delivering on this track so beautifully...this is what I call "effortless perfection."

My song choice is the laid back, chilled out, romantic, "Better When We Are Together" by Jack Johnson...Them "being together"--ASR's only goal!!😉 Perfect for this glorious weekend...

no wonder, when he said, "they're beautiful," i almost bawled. something in that scene, other than a connection to a moment of intense passion during diwali. how poignantly she'd uttered, "hamesha" to his question, does she wear her mother's payal all te time.

last night, anjali said something about now all that's left are his mother's kangans and them sitting under the stars together and we chatted about important symbols in their lives, including his mother's letter. one of our last thoughts: would the twelfth night bring a "wedding" where they would exchange mementoes, memories, and vows that last forever before their true witnesses, the stars?

Decided to try out something a bit more intellectual now that I'm at JU and all. Shall try to be part of each crooner from now on 😊

Me also loves intense tracks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Makes me all gooey with excitement. The flipping by Sir Hotness was just epic! I can't wait for Mon 8pm IST 😳

And you have the quintessential Raizadas: Mr and Mrs Mad Hatter. Their communication style: bicker and flicker😍.
So when Arnav realized why his wife left him as the contract expiry is round the corner, he decides to woo her back, to make her realize a 6 month contract can't end their relationship, they are in this for the long haul. But in HIS style, in her style'in their style. He knows what makes her tick and sets out for win in the path which he knows will lead her right back into his arms , this time for good.

3...2...1...Hi!!!...
His shatir dimag had calculated and closed all the channels of help she'd go for and made her come to him. He pleads with her :help me help you (thank you Jerry Maguire!). That's what he wants, her acknowledgement that he matters, she needs him as much as he needs her. Tum mang sakte ho..wife ho meri..haq banta tumhara . But she in still in her ego trip which is as big as his, as he rightfully points out. She declares she'd rather work for him than take his help. He latches onto her wish. ASR gets her right where he wanted. Boy is the man sure that he'll break her resolve in 24 hrs...ASR confidence oozing! And the satisfaction when she doesn't take those retreating steps like before. His feisty his "pagal" wife is back!

What follows is atypical husband and wife but signature Arnav-Khushi nok-jhok. He makes her do silly stuff while he sits and watches with a smile. A smile which used to be a rarity in ASR but now comes so easily around her. Till she twists her ankle. Then the concerned husband takes over. Their little payal conversation , a Diwali 360 . And can he get any sweeter as a husband? offering to help her do her chores and when she decides to ignore his request, he does what he loves to do: picks her up and carries her to get the clothes from clothesline.

Barun continues with his flawless acting. His voice modulations and dialog projection was one of his best. Facial expressions right down to the perfect timing of left brow lift, the smirks, indulgent smile while watching Khushi describe the 'the downfall of AR stocks", the no-nonsense loving husband taking over his stubborn wife after she twists her ankle: a picture of perfection every frame. And you can tell that he and Sanaya were having a blast with the TV scene. Sanaya's forte is her comedic timing and she was bang on in those scenes.

Other tid bits:
Loved Amma's dig at 'pagal premi' damad! So cute and as usual the guy doesn't show any awkwardness.
Anjali's loneliness was so visible. A moment that you share usually with your husband or near one, she was on her own. Then who is she talking or meeting with. Also when it comes in the open Buaji was not sick, will that cause more sibling MU?
Direction was fantastic...love the side profile angle of both during the "ego" scene! Dialog writers had a heyday yesterday. The TV scene and the office scene were one of their comical best ...some dialogs were aimed right at the fandom craziness😉
BD issues'especially Barun's 'well then again how do you find another guy to replace Mr Perfect Everything?
An episode which makes you sigh in happiness during the 20 mins and long after. Makes you want to be in love and be loved like Arnav-Khushi.
