Deba.. I was beaming too when I realized that yes.. the payal put a closure to the dream analogy you had done! 😊 It dint strike me when the episode was running coz I was obviously much lost in the 'beautiful' moment but as I read it here, I remembered your exact words in the previous crooners! You were waiting for the Payal's significance to play out and we got it! 😊

That is a beautiful opening quote.. Arnav and Khushi have each other to fall in love with over and over again! They make the most of every chance they get, at least Arnav is trying! 😳 And what an apropos title! Love it!

Arnav and Khushi are bonded together.. the relationship is growing every day! They learn things about each other, they know each other some more! And Arnav is willing to go to any extent to make it into forever! He has a few days on his side and he will put his clever mind, wit and charm, anything, to use to make Khushi come back to him for life! Just that this Khushi is a tough one!!

-Loved those nooks and corners where Khushi keeps her money stashed away from the eyes of others.. but another gullak?? Dint she break open the only one she had, a few days back in RM? 😳

-Arnav actually took care to arrange everything so as to reduce Khushi to having only him as the last one to fall back on! Some efforts I must say! And the clever boy had her every move on his count too!! Three, Two, One and a 'Hi'!! 😍

-Arnav states and he could not be more correct.. Khushi has an ego too! But I must add here that her defenses go up especially before ASR and not others! She was a little conscious but she went comfortably to Happy ji and Shukla ji to ask for money whereas she refused to ask Arnav for it!! Saved it only as the last resort!! Is it because of the past insults??

Such awesome moments at the office and then later at GH! Arnav couldnt get better than this!! I could not take my eyes away from his expressions!! Each raise of an eyebrow, every smile, every look in the eye, every tone in the voice.. perfect!!! Khushi was her usual fiery self!! Nothing gets her more worked up than a challenge, nothing gets him more excited! Deals, shart, sauda.. they have their own language of love!!

-Khushi doesnt step back from Arnav's advances! Its only a matter of time when she will start meeting him halfway!

-Garima ji is part of the charm plan! She is essentially affected too by Damaad ji! Lovely to see some light hearted moments of bonding between them all!

-Anjali is not out of his mind too! But Anjali does feel the loneliness in spite of trying at being happy and stress free! The baby is her only source of happiness now and she feels at a loss of not finding anyone around to share that happiness with! How far does the lie about Buaji's illness affect her is yet to be seen! And dreaded too!

-Loved the nok jhok between Miya and tv, refusing to be the biwi!! What amazing moments there, what chemistry!!! So many repeated watches and I am still not done with it!

-Aaj mausam nahi hai suhana, taanashahi ka hai zamaana, who was that for?? 😆 😆 I am sure it was for us, the proud fandom!!
Suna nahi tv?? 🤣 Just the best!!!!

-The best touch, when Khushi jerks off his hand when she gets hurt, and the ensuing hurt and anger on both their faces!! this that seemed like fun, a game, is not quite a game.. is it! There are serious emotions involved!!

What happened next is straight out of my dreams too! 😍 What all was he apologizing for when he said that sorry? which hurts? Remembering the diwali night, the proximity, the awareness.. the look shared between the two, the memory alive in their eyes, the shared emotion.. 'they are beautiful' .. sigh!! How can Khushi not get affected!! No wonder she runs away at the slightest chance! Only this time, he wont let her go away!!

An amazing episode with just the perfect moments of laughter, fun, love and emotions .. one of the best that we have seen.. And a fiery dhak dhak precap to top it all!! ❤️ So cant wait for the monday episode!!! 😃

Congratulations to Sunshine99 for being the star of the crooner!! It truly was an awesome post!! A very well deserved recognition!!! 👏 👏 👏

Oh Priya... LOVE the quote - it just gave me a vivid vision of continuing to woo Mrs. Raizada over 12 days to get her to fall in love again - abhi ek din bhi nahi hua hai, barah din kaise sambhal paayenge!

Khushi is her usual resourceful self - gathering as much money as she can (from behind her Salman Khan poster!) and seeing the people who had come to see the house jolted her enough to get her moving - talking to Shuklaji for dabba money and to Happyji for mechanic work... How much ever Khushi moves - Arnav is a step ahead... And then 3, 2, 1... and the sexiest Hi in the world! Teasing his wife - and reminding her that it was his right and duty to do things for her!

The question of ego for both of them - I was pleasantly surprised when he brought that out - more so because it was the first time that this had actually come up like this - Khushi's ego opposed to Arnav's ego. And it's actually a very interesting thing - because when you flash back, at every stage, it's been her ego setting up against his. (Awesome title by the way! I really had to think this through!) It's been that ego tussle that got him fired up, falling in love with that girl who dared to speak up against him - his jhalli Khushi!

The man who tells Khushi that she is running out of time, but that he has all the time in the world, with such confidence - one wonders - he is the one running out of time after all - 12 days to make his wife his! But yes, he is Arnav Singh Raizada - he is uber confident in everything! And yesss, this is sooo not the redemption track! Please people, get a clue! This is ASR wooing his wife - "tum jaanti ho ki obviously mera dimaag kharab hai" - what a dialogue!

A 24 hour deal - the minute I heard it, I was sooo excited! The alarm on her face when she realised what she has got herself into - oh my the dhak dhaks! So our man is ready to go back to Gupta House to fulfill the conditions of the deal! Even Garima is ready to tease him now - she is really such a cool mother in law! I was completely in splits seeing her gutter mind at work! 😆

The Anjali-Arnav conversation had me kind of confused again. (By the way, how pretty was her sari! Someone please give Khushi such saris too!) After quite some time I really like Daljeet's acting too. And seeing Anjali's reaction, thinking Buaji's sick still - I hope she doesn't find out that was a lie - but I guess she will 😕. Her breaking down - seeing the sonogram video - a reminder of how alone she was - the two important people in her life missing.

The Biwi and TV - hilarious! This is exactly what IPKKND is all about - the comedy that is all around the drama - the immediate shift from smiling Khushi to a Khushi who is deeply hurt by his actions when she gets hurt... The Arnav who was enjoying her antics to the the one who was ready to apply balm - "I'm sorry ki maine tumhe hurt kiya" - and she understands almost immediately. And the payal - Priya, I kept thinking about our dream discussions and how it was brought in here so perfectly! A dream closed - another dream still open to come up - the wedding she described... will he fulfill it?

The end and the precap - will comment on Monday because I have no haalat to do it right now - have seen the darned precap only about 15 million times so far! 😳 But yes, it promises to be a super interesting week ahead!

Thanks Priya for entrusting me with your space for 2 days - I hope I can do my best! But will miss you like crazy for sure! And congrats to sunshine99 - loved the post on Friday!

P.S. I agree with him - Arnav hi theek hai! When will that darned "ji" go away?!

So Mr.ASR continues with his " Mrs.KKGSR ko Mrs.ASR banao " abhiyaan...He made sure that all the sources Khushi could seek help from were closed. So she would have no choice but to come back to him. Arnav confesses that he is enjoying watching Khushi in a helpless situation, but since Khushi refused his help, he was left with no other option.

" Tum kehti ho mujhe mein bahut ego hai, ghamand hai... kabhi apne baare mein socha hai " Luv u Janaki & Hitesh fr this dialogue 👏 👏 Again highlighting the fact that these two r mirror images of each other...

He teases her to exercise her Haq over him, corners her & is surprised to see that she doesnt back track.

Arnav agrees to pay Khushi provided she works fr him fr the next 24 hours. The practical & no-nonsense guy on display here. He didnt want this deal to be completed in the office, so he chose the GH, away from the prying eyes of the world 😉

" Biwi nahi banana chahti toh TV bano " Luved the comic timing of Barun in this scene, he was enjoying it to the core, but never once losing grip on the cool ASR attitude 👏

When Khushi twists her ankle while dancing, Arnav gets worried. " I am sorry for hurting you " The most sincere & heartfelt apology & Khushi can read that in his eyes.

" They r beautiful " The payal scene revisited. Then he could not verbalise his feelings, he chose to walk away that day. But today he is not scared, he is more than willing to open up & pour his heart out to her.

Khushi is still not ready to give in & Arnav is very well aware of this. He is not leaving any opportunity to get close to her bcoz he knows that Khushi gets very nervous & flustered when he is around... That she will not b able to suppress those emotions & desires for long...

Will Monday be the day then when she finally relents or does he have some naughty trick up his sleeve?? 😉 😉

Our Mr.Perfect again the show stopper with his naughty smirks & smiles, his voice modulation, those dreamy eyes 👏 👏 How I admire the ease with which he goes about delivering such brilliant performaces every single day...

A special mention to Hitesh & Ritesh 👍🏼 I am sure u guys were having a blast while writing all those naughty dialogues for Friday's episode...

I had no high expectations from the friday's episode n it turned out to be one of the best ones!!! Moral of the story- just see wat they show without any expectations n u'l enjoy the show to the core!!!😆 my school lessons r really true n can be applied practically then!!!😆 😆

Khushi hides money behind the posters of Salman Khan?? 😆 😆 This girl amuses me!!!😆 I used to hide the movie tickets of some memorable movies in my cupboard that way!!😛 Poor girl the money she has is not at all sufficient so she goes n asks Shuklaji for help!! N i was so happy to see Happyji back!!!😃 hope we get to see Lakshmiji n mamaji also soon!!! miss them so badly!!!!

Arnav is always a step ahead of his Khushi!!! see BS's hair cut is not leaving my head!! the emoticons also have the hair falling onto the forehead!!!😳

His 3-2-1 n HI killed me!!!😍 😍 When he said Khushi has to do watever he says for the next 24 hours, i went ☺️ ☺️ ☺️ as if he were asking me to do that!!!☺️ ☺️

When he talked abt being egoistic, the only line in my mind, my all time fav one from ASR was this:

The scene shifts to the GH, my fav place in the entire world these days, obvious reasons!!!!😆

for me tho the entire weekend passed off very quickly!!!

Other thoughts:

-Loved all the dialogues in the episode!!!! the writers take a bow!!!

-Saw in one of the posts out there ki the man whom shuklaji was talking at the office canteen n the one who came to happyji's garage is the same man, (n he's Aman😆 )

-Recycling n reuse at its best at this PH!!!! 👏 👏 👏 the dresses Khushi wears r recycled n reused, the shirts Arnav wears r reused,papam nani also wears very few sarees of the same design n model with the same pearl earrings, save resources n save environment!!!!👏 👏 on a serious note, why is that principle not applicable for Anjali n mamiji????🤔

tried very hard since last evening to get the translation of this telugu song but failed miserably!! this song, according to me is the perfect one for ASR!!😛 😛Watching Mahesh's movies also not helping me to forget ASR even for a second!!!😍 😍

Priya... What a lovely quote! So beautiful... Arnav Singh Raizada has got that chance to make his wife fall in love with her again and he's so not disappointing.. I too thought of the discussion here on Crooner about the Dream analogy... Loved the title.. It is this ego only which challenged them, goaded them into action and ultimately brought them closer to where they are today... 😳 I hope, pray and wish that everything is fine at your end...will miss you... 😊

Coming to the episode... I don't know why I reserved a spot when I knew I won't be able to put a sane word here after that yummylicious episode... Coherant thoughts seem so distant at the moment... 😆

The clock is ticking... A deadline has to be met... Not just by Khushi, but by Arnav too... He's already set out to achieve it... She's no different... That visit by those two tenants put her in action... She's a fighter and yesss egoistic, she won't come to Arnav... He knows her well... Shaatir dimag at its play... If she won't come he'd make her come to him... "Aakhir tumhe lautke vapis mere paas hi toh aana hai"... So attuned to her actions this pagal pati is that his Hi surprises his wife too... Can anyone say a better Hi... uber sexy and so ASRish... 😍

"Tumhe jaante hue aisi offer de raha hun toh dimag toh mera obviously kharab hai..."

The pagal pati admits it today... Of course he's pagal to fall in love with this pagal ladki but is he complaining... Hell NO! And now he's cornered her where he wants her to be... Together with him always... Starting with these 24 hours first... If this is how we are going to get those 12 days of manaofying her, I don't want these days to end or atleast want them to continue way looong in IPK days... One doesn't get to see ASR style of manana everyday... He's enjoying this too if that confident smile is anything to go by... He has it all planned... If she won't come to him, he'd go to her... And what better place to put his plan into action than GH... Where privacy is guaranteed... 😉

I love how comfortable Arnav has got now around his in-laws... So much so that Garima ji could take the liberty of teasing him... HIM - The Mighty ASR... Things have changed here for the better. The man who never ever exposed his feelings is way cool now with this open display of affection... Accepting the teasing from the in-laws and even letting Shuklaji and Happyji to know it too... Pyaar ke side-effects... 😆

Loved the scene with the siblings too... Arnav maintains the balance in his life... He's not forgotten his Di in all this mission of getting his wife back.. Such a cute scene... He asks her permission to stay overnight... It was good to see Anjali smiling like before... But heart wrenching the next moment to see her alone and looking at that sonogram...yearning for someone to share it with...

Oh man... I was in splits...clutching my stomach throughout this scene. 🤣 I don't know how BS and SI managed to keep a straight face while enacting this scene. What a balance between comedy and romance! Its their forte and this scene would go down in the list of IPK classics. Arnav wants a smile on his wife's face always... He won't be getting that anytime soon willingly... So he puts a rule.. Service with a smile... Such a cute scene... That indulgent smile on his face, watching his wife..providing him entertainment in her cute l'il way... Beautiful scene... BS and SI shined through the entire scene.

"I'm sorry I hurt you..."

An apology... Not just for one time but for every moment he's hurt her. The moment she got hurt, Arnav forgot everything else... Both knew that apology is not for just this once... It was for every time he hurt her... And she acknowledges it too... He massaged her ankle trying to ease out the hurt... Would he be able to remove all the hurt he's caused to her heart? He's set out to do just that... Soon he'll learn how much his words more than his actions has hurt and bruised her heart... By the end of those twelve days... He'll learn it's not so easy to woo her back into his life... It'd take more than an apology to rectify that mistake... Maybe opening up his heart to her completely would be a start... Oh my sapno ki duniya... I can't stop thinking about how there final confession at the end of these twelve days would be... 😍

"They're Beautiful..."

This coming from a man who said, "Yeh mat samajhna ki ek amir aadmi tumhari payal apne seenein se laga ke ghum raha tha"... They came full circle today... A complete 360 to that fateful night of Diwali... Have always loved how they've connected to their respective mothers with their ornaments... It is the payal now which made Arnav appreciate and respect the importance of her mother... Waiting for the day when it'll be the turn of those Kangans and Khushi would be the one to appreciate and respect the love of her mother-in-law...

The 'trip & fall' and the precap - Lets just leave that till Monday... No way I'd be able to put anything about it without drooling...😳

Loved the title...its so apt!!! This episode is by far one of my most favourite episodes so far...I had a huge grin from the start go! I always knew Arnav's style of wooing his wife would be different but this has makings of a blockbuster😆😆😆. Everything around these two has revolved around deals, loans, contract and challenges...and this time its no different. Tom and Jerry at their best😆😆. Cant wait and watch what the remaining 11 and a half days have in store for us😍

If Arnav thinks Khushi observes him closely then he is no different. He knows Khushi so well that his entire plan is designed around her thought process😆. Arnav knew Khushi would ask for help from the entire world except him and he did what was expected. Cut off all channels of funds so that she is left with no option but to turn to him. I read a few posts where people said Arnav is getting Khushi back with the power of money...hello!!! When did he do that? All he wants her to do is to exert her rights as Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada. Khushi has accepted him as her husband but she is yet to acknowledge the fact that she is his wife. 😳

3..2...1...Hi! Arnav probably knew exactly when Khushi would wake up and the time she would take to ask for help and then turn to him. He had timed everything😆😆😆. Her refusal made it easier for him to strike a deal with her...she had no choice but to accept it but again Khushi making it clear she was working for him and not taking his help. Arnav showed Khushi the mirror by reminding her that her ego was as big as his! I loved it when he noticed she was not moving behind...she was subconsciously doing what he had asked her to do sometime back!! They are partners for life meant to be with each other...there is no way either of them can lag behind...they will spend the rest of their lives with each other walking side by side.

The best place for them to have their 24 hours of privacy...GH!!! No place can be better than that!! Arnav had no qualms walking in and telling Buaji that he was planning to stay there for few days...no awkwardness...that house is also his house!

From hereon started the laugh riot...Biwi banna nahi chati to TV banne mein koi problem hai?🤣🤣 He explained the rules of the deal and ended with entertain me...kuch creative bano😆😆😆. Arnav had so much of fun...isnt everything is fair in love and war!😳 As if Khushi's stunts were not enough to make me fall off my chair laughing, the moment she paused for a second, he said "Suna nahi TV?" 🤣🤣. Each and every line said in that scene had double meaning and I felt it was targeted towards the audience and this forum😆. Sweet revenge 😆 😆

Barun and Sanaya were fantastic in this scene...their comic timing was superb. They have been on a roll in the past few days never failing to excel in the scenes given to them!!!👏👏

I loved the way the payal was brought back...yes as Priya has mentioned in the post, its the end of one dream paving its way to another dream😳. Arnav apologised to Khushi...that apology I felt was not only for humiliating her but also for all the pain that he had given her in the past. He did not go into details but spoke of the one thing that is so dear to Khushi...her amma's payal. The moment Arnav said he remembered the payal, it brought back memories of the Diwali night...the same night when Khushi's heart was broken because Arnav said she didnt exist for him. That was the time when Arnav learnt that the payal was her mother's payal yet did not hesitate to hurt her sentiments but today, he undid that mistake by calling it beautiful. Giving a whole new meaning to the hamesha that she said. I remember Priya had mentioned that the Payal scene spoke about his ownership on her...sealing their relationship forever and today, he did just that. What will be next? I will go with Anji here...yes, it will be the kangan and the letter that was written for Khushi by his mother😳😳. I am also hoping he gives her the stars back. Their parents need to bless them on their wedding day so dont the stars have to make a comeback? I hope the stars are there to welcome Khushi the day she enters their bedroom in RM😍😍

Other points:

1. Loved Garima behaving like a phangurl...who would have thought she would play around with Arnav. Buaji was the first to be informal with Arnav and now it is Garima's turn...looks like he will call her Amma the day he asks for Khushi's hand😳😳

2. Anjali's sadness touched me. The sonography report is something a husband and wife would always see together...what an emotional moment it must be for any parent to see their child for the first time. Anjali has no one to share this moment with...she chooses to call her brother to share her happiness but now is conscious enough not to cross her lines. She knows Arnav will always be there for her but then he has a life of his own.

3.Loved the part when Arnav carried Khushi to take the clothes from the clothesline. 😳

4. Khushi taking out money from behind the posters😆😆😆

5. Khushi muttering to herself that she has many names for Arnav😆😆 but she settles for laad governorji😆.

6. Khushi telling him that informing him with every single detail is not part of the deal and he promptly says that the clause will be added in another deal🤣. Khushi, however made it clear that there would be no more deals between them...aah, the look on Arnav's face😍

7. Nothing on the precap for now...we wont get anything more than what was shown😆😆 but that is enough for me to die in the gutter😆. One thing I would like to see is how he managed to straighten Khushi on the bed😳. The "Somvar" on the screen was blocking my view😆😆.

With these few words, I am off to the gutter...see you all there😳

Poor girl is actually surprised.. I have been watching her face.. she is damn surprised.. The care shown by Arnav is same she alwayz dreamt off.. The person who was beast to her now is Her Prince.. even though her heart had already declared Arnav as her prince long back. She cant believe in her eyes. The extreme hatred is converted into extreme care...

True.. Very True.. Her dream is getting real... Payal put closure for the dream...

The game is still on... 😉😉 I loved the way he took her in his arms.. nd they fell.. Khushi on top of arnav .. It signified that from now onwards Arnav will alwayz protect her from getting hurt... He will be her personal wall.. per personal shelter which will protect.
One by one.. He will keep the promises of the marriage😳😳😳

Your title of ego and desire takes me to another favourite fictional character of mine who is again a great parallel to ASR. Mr Rochester of Jane Eyre.

Look at what Jane Eyre feels about Rochester's first proposal, which she feels was motivated by passion as compared to the other proposal she gets from St John whom she feels was motivated by clear practical reasons.

I quote her:

"I was almost as hard beset by him now as I had been once before, in a different way, by another. I was a fool both times. To have yielded then would have been an error of principle; to have yielded now would have been an error of judgment"

Rings bells, doesn't it? Khushi might be feeling exactly like Jane Eyre in this situation if ASR proposes to her at this junction of his wooing. She has been thoroughly meddled with, her heart vacillating and her mind yet clearly unable to see the prince lurking beneath the beast that it is logical and expected that she will consider herself a fool. to yield to him and more importantly, think it is an error of 'principle and judgement' if she says yes.

Similarly for Rochester, as for ASR, the desire and passion for Khushi is at the same time redemptive as well as destructive. He is yet to know the power of his own desire. Now he is directing his desire through the sheer 'will' of his ego but there will come a time when the beast will realise that to attain the princess, the ego has to buckle under; the ego has to take the trial by fire to be destroyed by passion. That will be the destructive power. Also, it is pretty symbolic that he will be emotionally and spiritually consumed (destructed?) by his desire.

On the other hand, desire is nothing but fire. And fire destroys as much as it purifies. And this desire will purify him, purge his soul of all the last vestiges of darkness, bleakness and ghosts and renew it. For it to be watered by the sunshine of Khushi's soul... just like Rochester, despite being physically and mentally crippled, was finally restored by Jane Eyre coming back to him.. just like the beast revived when Beauty returned.

I have to say, that IPK has made me revive all the wonderful days I had while studying literature in college. Viewing becomes that much more enriching because we can connect, assimilate and understand loves, passions, desires and egos through this exercise.

Now that lecture apart, what is it with this man's eyes? The wickedness gleaming out of the dark chocolate depths before he does that grab. The phangurl in me swooned and how! Friday's was the sexiest episode I have seen in sometime. The entire biwi-tv exchange felt like foreplay!😍☺️
