What is IPKKND for you? Why do u like it? Is there any reason for this addiction?

I will answer all the questions...

There are several phases

First phase:

IPKKND was one of the past time programs that I see on T.V. As I said earlier I am a creative field or to be specific a wannabe Filmmaker I struggled to get an interview I couldn't

find producers for my Short Films.. During that time I learned Editing, Visual Effects and became friends some of the short filmmakers and worked for few projects for peanuts. I

was completely frustrated with my life or lack of a life.. I was never jealous about others good fortune but used to feel bad about mine. That time on T.V a breath of fresh air.. a

good natured comedy came on Star Plus not IPKKND.. It was Sasural Genda Phool which I followed till Ishaan' memory loss. Then while watching that serial I caught few promos

of IPKKND.. Liked them but thought another serial with Rich man- poor girl love story.. But thought should give it a try.

Second Phase:

Back then I was really low nothing going anyway.. Not my way or Hi-way..bad joke.. yeah right a bad one.. But that's the truth. IPKKND's first episodes didn't impress me much as

I thaught this will be a hero changing process story with all cliches.. But man I was surprised I was blown way with the characterisation. Simply ASR resembled me in many ways.

Yes I am more talkative than him.. But his short temper and his love, harshness are there in me too. I slowly mellowed down not because of love but because of life. I liked the

pitch perfect opposite heroine Jalebi bai, Khushi Kumari Gupta, too as the serial progressed due to her childishness and chirpy nature. I liked it more because it was giving me the

strength to come out of my shallow shades and asked me to look ahead into the joyful sunshines ahead... This is where IPKKND slowly became a regularity like daily chores.

Third Phase:

Now I am not sad about life. I understood that we should try and make things happen. Not get bogged down by the circumstances. This is a life changing phase. I started reducing

my weight which brought a fresh look out at life. All thanks to IPKKND. But time never stop.. it will keep moving till eternity we need to run with or die trying to keep up the pace. I

started running but it took two years for the first opportunity and I couldn't be a trainee then. Slowly the shadows started returning I realized that in the nick of the time and started

working on a project my self.. and one day suddenly saw a opportunity to become a Script Writer. Grabbed it gave it my best and here I am working as a Script Writer for a

television. Now IPKKND has become an addiction bad episodes good episodes No matter what just see it and enjoy it.

Why IPRedux?

My addiction needed a similar place where people are crazy like me and thinking about the future episodes and specualting, dicussing and understanding. I first looked at

IPRedux in March and kept following recently as a stalker till I myself wanted to put my thoughts in front ofyou people.

What is IPKKND?

There are three parts for this answer...

Mythologically challenging

Why? I was constantly reminded about the similarities of several mythological stories and characters while seeing this serial. For say, Shyam always reminded me of Shakuni.

Shakuni is a person who was betrayed and returned the favor by killing all his sister's family and his family too. Like Shakuni Shyam never fights directly. Like Shakuni Shyam can

plan many things but lacks the fineese of Krishna. Like Shakuni Shyam is always a coward.

I will write Shakuni's story in another post and elaborate on similarities with examples as this post is geting too lengthy.

Arnav Singh Raizada reminds me more of Arjun. Arjun always was an opportunist, not naive but emotional, shrewd but not completely tactical. Arjun is a lover boy and ASR, yeah

right yes. Why Arjun not some other person? Arjun is a manipulator, also a person who has won a battle on his own with help. Who ran his family's honor on his shoulders.

About all others and plot line I will a second part explaining more of Mythological references...

Gripping Screenplay:

I am film enthusiast. So anytime I see any program may be a Video program I cannot dis associate myself from being a person who knows something about screenplay and

shooting. So I can enjoy as a layman but still I will talk about screenplay, editing and direction at the end of it all. The initial episodes even some of them now have a very very

engaging screenplay and they keep you guessing time and again.

Soothing music and Sizziling Chemistry:

I am also fond of the choice of the actors. The chemistry between the leads, Shyam and Anjali, sometimes Payal and Akash. Rest of the actors are also pitch perfect for their roles

even the extras sometimes.

Music... What can I say about Rabba Vey... I hear it daily not just in the serial also in my music player.

So all these three form IPKKND for me..

About this Week Episodes:

I liked all of them. I know how hard it is to deliver every day. But when you have the potential you can. But can't avoid the bad days as we can't have all good days.

Arnav behavior was well justified more like a Pati who is angry at his Patni, who wants to be with him but denies it completly because of her ego and also past experiences. One

thing she should learn and remember when someone loves to like mad and wants to like mad, just be with them. Convincing self is a big problem here but

that can be done if you are willing to take that first step. Khushi will take that first step only when she is assured of the depth of Arnav's love. And we are moving in that direction.

Anjali man she is paving red carpet welcome to the purest evil. She will suffer again and again. Bechari...

Akash and Payal they need to progress in their relationship and understand each other. How much will be enough it is always a question.

A Small Insight:

Expect the coming week to be a Dhamaka as romance has just started heating up. Shyam boy u are entering. Have a grand come back.
