I have to thank Somy for it.
I give lot of importance to all relationships close to my heart. Whether it be of a sibling, or a cousin or a family member or a best friend. But at the same time, there are some characters fiction or real, I cannot wrap my head around. Anjali has always been that character for me from the begining and it is the story tellers fault.
I cannot digest, the explanation where in it is said, she lost her parents and grew up with out parents and henee the dependency on her brother. Please. She was at least 18 unless he was getting married as a child, in the flash back episodes they keep showing. 18 to me is an adult. Their back story does not gel with the relationshop of brother and sister they show.
Even now, they act as if they are all alone in the world and that is what I cannot fathom or understand. Feeling loved is a greater feeling than loving someone else.
They have an entire parivaar doting after them and if they still want to act like miserable orphans inexperiened with the concept of being loved and having support, any scenes they have reek of plasticism (if there is such a word) and feels like it is being forced upon us to accept their strong bond, when none exists.
Sorry, for talking sensible nonsense. :-)😛
