Hi All,
My name is Moumi and I am a (vry) silent reader/follower of Redux from quite some time now and I literally do not have words to describe my feelings towards the depth of knowledge and variety of thoughts shared in this thread. Each and everyone brings out a unique flavor and interpretation of the 22 mins of IPK. All you writers have a capability to stir up emotions in the hearts of your readers and I sincerely thank you all for it. I have fallen in love with this unique love story more becoz I am part of Redux (though I dont actively participate, trust me I spend my entire day on Redux just going thru the posts and discussions).

@ Koel (hope u dont mind me calling you by ur name),
The above lines you mentioned sums up the entire gist of wht Arnav - Khushi and their love story is all about. I literally had tears reading this and was unable to control myself from thanking you ...
👏👏👏

👏@redwine1
I read your posts in the DC thread and you made me cry both yesterday and today. You must be thinking I am a cry baby (may be like poojali ) but trust me I m not. But as I said, more than IPK itself, its writers like you who stir up the emotions in the readers ... just lovely post dear
👏👏👏
👏
P.S. - I am very bad at writing wht I actually feel so plz pardon me if this doesnt make any sense ... I am just too emotional right now, all thanks to you girls 😳

Hello Moumi... A warm welcome to Redux...🤗 It is a heartfelt gratitude and an humbling experience for me that you considered us the reason for making you fall in love with IPK...We would love to hear your thoughts on the IPK journey everyday so please join us... we are just die hard IPK fans that let our emotions flow through the keyboard... and you would do the same beautifully... So hoping to see you around more...😊
Thank you for peeping into my post and sharing your thoughts. Appreciate it.😳
Once again welcome to the virtual Redux family.

Hey lovely ladies, 😊

I posted the following on Director's Cut, but would be interesting to see what you guys made of Anjali's character tonight. Be warned, my comments were made prior to watching the episode, lol so they may be out of sync. In fact, I'm still in the process of watching the episode - Can't wait to read up on everyone's take! Will do so in a short while! 😆

I've been saying this for some time now: will the real Anjali Jha please stand up, please stand up, please stand up!! And today, I believe she did!

Ruby and ritz made some really interesting points about the two sides to Anjali Monahar Jha, and one of those masks came off today.

The pessimist in me knows that her true colours are revealed when she's queen bee - a force to be reckoned with. However, the optimist in me would like to believe that her true self is the one who is insecure, and who longs for stability; a bit of TLC. And to overcome this weakness of hers, she adorns the mask of queen bee. Yet both masks belong to her, just like the mask of ASR belongs to Arnav. Arnav however, has reached a consensus with his conflicting personalities, whereas Anjali has yet to do the same. And part of the reason is because there's nobody there to show her the mirror of her true reflection. Arnav had Khushi, and not once did she back down from showing him his true colours.

But it seems the family members are treating Anjali exactly the way they'd treat Arnav, that is to say, they don't challenge her behaviour, they overlook it.

It took Arnav to get down on his knees and tell her that she is and always will be his "asli duniya", her number one priority, before she came out of that bratty, depressive state of hers. Today showed that it wasn't a case that she couldn't, but she chose not to come out of her depressive state, until she got what she wanted. She's secured her position once again.

Just like the time when she ran away from the home (to the mandir), and she made a joke of it that perhaps she should run away more often, as to get her way.

The time when she gave Arnav the cold shoulder when the children came round for pooja. Her brace had fallen off, yet she still refused Arnav's help - until he accepted the children and apologised to his Di.

And today, she needed that assurance once again that she will indeed get her own way.

Perhaps it would be too harsh to think of her as calculative, I don't wish to portray her as such, as that would be too negative; but I do believe that her stubbornness is part of her personality which gives her reign to behave the way that she wants. And at times her behaviour has portrayed her as being somewhat childish and brash.

I don't know if you guys read S003's take on last night's episode, but it was awesome, in that she painted Anjali in a reasonably positive light, which made me think, am I being too harsh on her. Though I don't think she's downright evil, her stubbornness showcases her to be somewhat of a spoilt little brat, who's gotten her way, always!

--Watch this space for comments--

It's been time since I commented on everyone's post, well not like this anyway!! Still need to make my way through them, but will comment as and when I'm done reading!!

Kudos to all who share such brilliantly insightful though processes!

Tants - I await your delicious thoughts!!

Bush - Kyu be, tu tera mood kyu kharab karti ho!? Grey ho ya pink, that Akaash will forever remain a "royal" pain in the a**, lol don't let the muppet stop you from dishing out your thoughts on the rest of the episode!! I'm waiting... 😳

And your ode to 50 shades of pink on last night's episode was beyond hilarious!! Maza ageya - I swear I can never look at Akaash in the same way again, now all I see is a cloud of candy floss hovering above him! 😆

Well you may press "like" just for the heck of it today..

Lol, are you purposely trying to fish for comments by writing the above!! 😛 See, I knew you just had to write something on tonight's episode, and I'm so glad you did!! It was damn good Bush - you've highlighted a lot of significant pointers, and laid them out in a way that doesn't make my head hurt, so that's definitely a bonus!! 😆 (hey, I'm on a break - cut me some slack!) Absolutely ❤️ the way you captured the contrasting scenarios of Arnav having to go return something which belongs to Khushi - really shows how much he's changed over the course of the drama!! And what a change he's undergone, his gradual change in character has been absolutely amazing a sheer delight to watch!! Kudos for picking out certain dialogues and explaining them - insightful and probing! 👍🏼

Sandhya - A delicious take on tonight's episode, as always! A catch-22 indeed!! Loved how you defined Khushi's character as being quintessential happiness - did you see that smile Arnav gave when he realised she had left her mobile in the car!! What a beautiful contrast to his former self!! The girl definitely finds her feet when she's back at home, loved how you alluded to Buaji being a mother figure; a soothing balm! ❤️

Vasi - Lol, I love that your introductory focus was on "sexy" Raizada/Sobti. And you picked up on his smile!! Yes, I loved that gentle look of happiness and anticipation of seeing her again on the pretext of giving back her phone! And you're dead right, previously he would have displayed signs of frustration at being reminded of her very existence - the man really has come a long way! Absolutely ❤️ your post!

Areeba - Love your thoughts so far, a beautiful take on Khushi's sacrifice, and I agree, she's definitely hiding from her problems rather than facing them head on. And her reasoning, as always, is for the sake of others! I absolutely ❤️ that you picked up on her slight hesitance and her need to back off when grabbing hold of Arnav, brilliantly penned. It just goes to show that there's still a slight reluctance on her part to open up to him completely. Even her flash back was of the time when they shared a bed for the first time and he had placed a barrier between them; but both had crossed over that barrier, albeit, in a state of unconsciousness. It's only a matter of time when the two will have to confront one another openly in a state of consciousness!

Nazleef - "the establishment of boundaries in relationships" - Absolutely ❤️ it!
And I agree, both Arnav and Khushi have yet to see the gravity of their current predicament. Things still need to come out into the open, and for that to happen, they need to have some serious heart to heart! Right now, they're not communicating what they should be to each other, and they need to, pronto! Khushi confided in Naani about her insecurities/troubles, but not Arnav, and likewise, Arnav voiced his true feeling to Di, but not Khushi - and so the cycle continues, until both will have to face the other and open up their true feelings! And Khushi is most definitely overstepping her boundaries! I agree, there's still much for her to learn! Interesting how you pointed out the three characters who haven't overstepped their boundaries, and I agree to some extent, however, Anjali sure is coming very close to it!

Jhalak - Awww tera to post dekhte hi mein kush hojati hun!! 🤗
There's always so much heart in your posts that I never know what to focus on! I absolutely ❤️ the fact that you honed in on Arnav's line "paagal hein yein ladki", it just confirms how in tune he is with her eccentric behaviour! Yep, Khushi's heart to heart with her DV was also a very touching moment, however, that excuse that she doesn't know how to tell everyone is really wearing thin on me now - I hope she finds it in herself to share some of her feelings with Arnav, just like the time when she told him about her fear of the darkness. Right now, he fear is of breaking up a happy family, and the guilt is eating away at her. However, her decisions always lead to adverse affects; and you're right, there's still a part of her heart which is hesitant to accept Arnav, and to claim him as her own - which he's voiced she has every right of doing as his wife. It's her right's of being a wife that she's not able to accept as of yet...

Arnav and Khushi are standing at such crossroad where khushi considers everyone as her world and Arnav considers Khushi as his world, the day they learn to accomodate eachothers views will they really emerge as couple,

Beautifully put!!! 👍🏼

Koel - Koel, Koel, Koel, how is it that you always blow me away with your posts!! Itni gehri soch, in such short scale of a post!! Only you can do the episode such justice! Like always, you always manage to pinpoint the heart of each episode, and the grandness of that single moment in the larger scale of things! And today that was Khushi holding onto Arnav, tying them in a bond that he assured was rightfully hers!! Loved how you captured the beauty of this moment by extending it to the rites of marriage - beautifully linked! He really does love the idea of being her "anchor", and today he assured her that it's her right to hold onto him, and what better way to remove any traces of doubt, fear, than to tell the woman you love, that he's yours to do as you please, and to confide in him in moments of woe and joy! Now it's up to Khushi to take that final step, and put her faith in him, for that is what he so desires! The two have definitely entered a stage of understanding - short, sharp and succinct Koel, just like our lead man of a few words! 👍🏼

Sarunrocks - They really do rock!! 😉
Aww, loved that you picked up on his concern for Buaji - the guy has really turned over a new leaf huh in terms of attitude! Lol, indeed, Arnav is really hitting home with his "haq" waala dialogues; he's made his intentions clear, he's here to stay, and to make her his, for all eternity, bound by the scared rites of marriage! And he ain't budging until she consents to it!! Loving it! And I absolutely ❤️ that you picked up on Khushi's FB of crossing Arnav rekha!! A beautiful scene, which served to remind us of how they're destined to be together; whether she's ready or not, she knows in her heart that that line has already been crossed, however, fate and circumstances seems to have other plans in mind, but it's only a matter of time before the two of them cross that line again in full consciousness and faith!. *fingers crossed*
