Heylo all! I watched today's episode after reefing through some IF posts. And I seem to think differently than a lot of people! So I decided to put out my thoughts on each of the characters today as well.
1) Anjali: After a long time, I could finally understand what Anjali might have been going through. For just a minute, try to put yourself in her shoes guys. For Anjali, Arnav is not just her younger brother. He is her reason to live. He is her support. He is her best friend. He is her companion. He is her everything. For as long as she can remember, she has been the closest person to her brother. She has always been his first priority. But now... after the whole Shyam fiasco, her life has come crashing around her. Firstly, the slap on Shyam's face came as a shock to her. It all started from there. Now, rememeber. She has known Shyam for such a long time - probably years. How long has she known Khushi? How long has anyone in the Raizada family known Khushi for that matter? Anjali k hisaab se Khushi tho kal ki aayi hui ladki hai. So the fact that Arnav accused Shyam, the person he has known for such a long time to support Khushi is shocking to her. It was her first big blow - to know that there is someone besides her that her brother cares for. And you've got to remember, Anjali doesn't know the backstory. She doesn't know about what Arnav saw on the terrace or about ArHi's forced marriage, etc. So according to her, her brother, her soul, Arnav is trusting Khushi just because he loves her. Now, that, undoubtedly, would make her think, "does my brother care more for his wife than what his di wants?". And now, after today, what is she supposed to think? Such a big blow has occured in the family. She thinks Arnav must be sad... must be upset for his Di just as he has always been when she faces any dilemma... and what does she see? Arnav happily cutting cake with his wife. Tell me, what is she to make of this?! Obviously it is coming across that the whole incident with his Di did not make any difference to him at all!!! And then, it's going to take her time of course... it's going to take time for her to realize that he loves his wife as much as his sister... just, in a different way. And so I can see why she was upset today.
2) Arnav: Lol!😆 We saw his true ASR form today, didn't we? Seriously, when I watched Arnav commanding Khushi to blow out the candle, cut the cake, etc. I burst out laughing. Ye kabhi nahi badlega!😆 And some of you are thinking that Arnav was upset when Khushi told him she didn't want his "2 lakh ka gift, cake, etc." I beg to differ. I think the level of respect he held for Khushi was raised up a notch! He knows she's not the typical 18/23 {however old she is!😆) year old girl. She's special. She's his KKGSR. And it is her innocence that he first fell in love with. So how can you think he would be hurt by this same innocence? He respects her even more now, seeing her simple and selfless nature. And this will definately show in the future!
