Okay peeps,this is the first time I'm making a stab at penning down my thoughts on an episode😃While I feel privileged to brush my shoulders with the creme de la creme of REDUX...it'd be suffice to say that my hands are all clammy as I jot down my thoughts..Do bear with me😕

Given the high-voltage drama and emotionally draining episodes of the past 4 days...yesterday's was a slow-paced one...and honestly speaking..after watching it for the first time..I couldn't feel a huge impact ..So I came to REDUX..and blabbered about poor acting and yada yada yada..But after a second watch...I had to change my mind..😊

Arnav-The man's finally acknowledging his feelings for his wife to HIMSELF..Well that's something👏How nice it is to see that sourpuss gone!!..Arnav has indeed changed..He is masking his feelings for Khushi right now in her presence..But very,very soon that mask will go off too..😳

The very first scene yesterday that stood out for me was where Arnav refuses to let Khushi leave..That usual,intense eye-lock when he says "Aur Main..."😳..When he says.."Main tumhare bina..."The reticent young man seems to be a ghost of past now.When Khushi is gazing the stars..he's letting those feelings of remorse grip his soul..He's gonna win her back..No matter what..He remembers and is concerned by the brevity of their marriage and promises to himself..that before the contract expires..he's gonna make her his forever😳His acceptance of love is tantamount to his regretting his actions..The man is hurt but he's still a lion and he's gonna bring his lioness back to him...

Khushi-Don't worry..The resilient young girl would soon be back to her chirpy self with a little bit help from her Arnavji😳She is saddened by the fact that after all that she shared with her husband..he still has the contract in his mind..Well her naive and gullible and impulsive and emotional mindset had given up the contract..It had become non-existent for her...So few of those valuable pearls are shed again as she's reminded of that contract...

Again her care and concern for the family is shown..when she's ready to leave RM for the sake of Anjali...While any member of "Nari Mukti Morcha"would opine and boast of her sacrificial nature here at this point..I'd like to point out that a sad and morose Anjali is almost equivalent to a melancholic Arnavji which would adversely affect her married lifeJust a point to ponder...

Why is she hiding facts again??That seems ominous...She's again sowing seeds for trouble in the future...

Anjali-What was that look that she gave Arnav while he came searching for Khushi??!!It's really difficult to fathom what has gotten into her..Was she jealous??Not likely...She is not much expressive these days...The chronic depressive traits persists..

Well that scene was beautiful too..The way Arnav unmindfully rushes into Anjali's room..Suddenly the husband takes over..that look of concern for his wife engraved on his face..Then that quick look of rebuke from nani and he soon realizes his mistake...It was really a nice scene👏

Well it feels great that the CV's are finally focussing on the sisters' bonding..It was really nice of Payal to take sometime out of her troubled married life and console Khushi..

Akash seems the biggest moron these days...He's not leaving a stone unturned to prove that he's indeed Manorama Raizada's worthy son...Where's that understanding,caring husband,son-in-law gone??

Finally it seems the return of Barun Sobti has prompted the CV's and the PH to work as a team thus proving that team work at its best produces a synergy that can be very productive..The CV's will stick to romance for the time-being interspersed with some Anjali fiasco and some Payash fiasco..A healthy patchwork of intense drama and romance should prevail that should never slide into excess sentimentality proving to be an endless tearjerker.CV's do keep that in mind..

Dearest Arshad-Well I'm not the lady here..Your lady has come up with her views and points in the first page..I just wanted to say that your Man is back..Make him work..Make the actor in him hungry..He's back in his character,without a doubt..but a few things do need to be worked on...Do have a chat with Barun about improving his laxity in dialogue deliverence...ASR doesn't slouch..When are you two going to realize that??I'm not bashing you..I'm not qualified enough..I just felt to point out a few things...You're the captain of the ship..as Winey says..Do steer it in the right direction..Consistency is the key now...

It was Arnav today all the way! He proved to be a love struck puppy dog 😳 - and while remaining in his character! He was brilliant in his expressions!!! 👏 👏 No one can beat Arnav's love for Khushi!! He may have spewed venom but he will do anything to have his girl with him! 😉 But I will say again - the girls understanding of him - still a question. 😛

I dont know ya! The gel was too much! I was finding it so difficult to concentrate on his expressions because my eyes kept going back to his gelled hair 😆 😆

Well after chatting with RUby saw the episode again. Yes dear I understood Khushi thinking

See thats why I love REDUX , makes me see the episode in a different way .

Coming back to the Episode my FAV was Arnav in ANjali room asking " Di apne Khushi ko Dekha '", this is like th e1st time Khushi is his priority over DI . Now how will ANjali take it she has registered this . IS she gonna be jealous that her Chotte's priorities in Life are changing.

I am waiting for the character Anjali to unfold and also her reaction to the entire fiasco . I mean what is she going to do next , its all a mystery . But no complaints at least she wont be interfering in between Arhi romance.

Waitign for tomorrow for the Mahaepisode. What is Arnav planning with NK , just cant wait .

I loved Sanaya today especially by th epoolside looking at the stars. and also the female version of Rabba Vey .

All of you have so many beautiful things to say, and so much insight to provide.. So I'll just ask the questions:

1. They are sleeping in the same bed - What the?! Hamein batana zahoori nahin samjha? Hamein Fark padta hai, dammit!!

2. Why was ASR limping around? He seemed to be favoring his left foot.

3. Shashi Gupta seems so much better - YAY!! Par why did they not ask ASR 'Arnav bitwa, aap ka London trip kaisa raha?' (Okay - I get this one.. ASR and KKG had to have an eye lock moment and etc. etc. etc.)

4. How come NOBODY in GH asks - what happened to your cheek? He still has a scar on it!

5. Why did ASR not just hold her face in his hands like he always does, look deeply in her eyes and say with that husky break in his voice 'Aur mera?' Would she have gone?

6. Looks like RM is bad for him, every time he gets to GH - he looks looser and relaxed. Remember how confidently he entered it (I mean her bedroom) the first time ever? perhaps they should move there?

7. Will a birthday celebration be held in RM or GH? My vote is GH - the RM atmosphere is pretty toxic right now.

8. How come Khushi got a complete new wardrobe in the middle of all the kidnapping brouhaha? The last outfits she repeated were the havan outfit (for the telephone and telepathy conversations) and the ILU outfit for the 'follow Shyam' episode, and the white outfit from her first night without Arnav.

9 When did ASR have the time to go buy a new phone? (Damn that guy can multi-task!)

10. When did Anjali find time to get those new arm-revealing blouses? What does this costume change mean?

Point to be noted my dear Reduxians Arnav got up and looked at the right side of his bed ... that implies Khushi was sleeping there ... OMG they are actually sharing the same bed in his room !!!... How Rabba Ve is that !!!...😍

Especially after the fight the previous night and the contract marriage thing coming up this was the last thing on our minds !!!

They did show us he carried her into the room and placed her on the right side day before ... magar yeh chupke se he lay down on the left side 😉... these directors don't feel our pulse or what 😲 ... don't they know what will give them the TRPs ?? 😡

There was NO Arnav Rekha this time mind you ... 😉😉

geet amazing story abt the surya dev and his wife.

it touched me because for me khushi herself has become a shadow of her former self. her fire , her confidence in her righteousness, her fighting sprit all are gone. i was taken aback today with what i saw. khushi admitting she is the sole cause of all the pain .. no fighting with arnav.. no argument .. no anger towards him .. she has become a shell of her former self and its up to arnav to bring her back.

disclaimer :although i follow the redux religiously .. im no expert at analysis so im gonna write the episode from a layman point of view.

over all a good episode which set up many future story lines.. payash fight, rift between anjali arnav, RTR of arnav, wedding of arhi... for me the second half was much better than the first. i will be honest at first glance i didnt like the episode much bec the arnav khushi scene felt like a huge let down. i let the promo effect me and thought i was in for another passionate fight between arnav and khushi and when i saw the subdued emotional exchange between them.. i was left.. befuddled... that is a word that came to mind. i thought who is this couple .. is this arhi or payash. for the passion and the angst which defines arhi was missing. and this was true for khushi more than arnav. it didnt sit well with me. the content was there but it didnt touch my heart rather left me feeling uneasy. khushi seemed more like a defeated/broken women and not a girl in love making a hard choice. and arnav looked helpless and weak coming up with the flimsiest of excuses to keep khushi in his life. i understand the turmoil the two have been thur esp. arnav in recent days. so him not being able to process khushi leaving him is understandable. khushi actions seemed more motivated by "Di" and her happiness than her relationship with arnav.

things i liked

were the GH house back into the fold. missed buaji , amma and bauji also came. was glad khushi got to go home to family. the gurl needs her family so she went and she felt better with that so did i. seeing khushi in a supportive environment .. rather than with RM members who justifiably are busy with anjali. loved that arnav was shown yet again waking up to the thoughts of khushi. many felt arnav put khushi above his di .. i did not. for me arnav always has a lot of anxiety with missing/sick loved ones. yest it was di and today khushi. neither do i want him to pick khushi over di. they are two separate facets in his life and should remain that way. what he needs ... is to learn to express the importance of khushi in his life. and not let his worries for di sidelines his duties toward khushi. an art he needs to learn from his wife.. who carries on many relationships .. most times with ease all at once. also my fav scene today was bauji who showed disappointment that arnav didnt bring a gift. khushi is her baby and i love bauji looking out an defending her titaliya.

things i did not liked

i didnt like how arnav stood there like a statue watching khushi staring at star/parents. n did not take a step towards her not a hand trying to reach out. he remembered the time she came to him to comfort yet he couldn't move. an all this juxtaposed to saying he will win her back and never let her go was a googly to me. him quietly listening to her take all the blame on her self and never saying no its not ur fault was heart wrenching. but at least he said that he didnt mean what he said. if they are trying to set him up for his rtr cv's than kudos. im a firm believer in it today. arnav mind and heart are in the right place but time for action bitwa .. not just self thoughts

talking abt self thoughts .. where are khushi's? every time u hear her thoughts they are abt other and never abt her self. honestly khushi was almost unpalatable to the feminist in me. if she is finally broken i wished there was a more poignant scene to demonstrate it.. let her cry her eyes out to DM. i get all the sacrificing for the one you love but im my point of view i rather see a khushi who holds arnav responsible for his actions and words and not one bending over backwards for her love. one who is constantly waiting for arnav to get a clue on his own time. i rather see khushi get back to her strong self than arnav rtr.

after watching this episode all i can say is ... i want the khushi who shoved arnav at the guesthouse, gave him the resignation papers, stood up and told him abt imp of marriage, refused to answer the allegation he put on her character... many many examples like this. this is not the first nor the last time arnav will yell at her . and all those times she never really left him nor did she hate him nor was she angry but she always did showed him his error.. always held up a mirror to him. and today khushi took all the blame and left him scot free !?.. she stopped being his moral compass. and for me that was a sad turn of events for their relationship. for me it was khushi finally giving up arnav...

HMMM. Very interesting times in IPKKND don't you think. I feel like this serial is like an onion which the CV's are peeling back leisurely while keeping us tuned it to every detail.

Obviously today's episode is about Arnav and Khushi. But the brief peaks into the lives of the surrounding family members, is what is oh so interesting to me.

So the first glimpse,

Akash and Payal. At first I was like WTH, (and I'm a big supporter of Akash being mad) but then I thought about it some more and realized that he wasn't talking about today or yesterday at all, but about the whole situation. Payal thought about this situation as an outsider, and that is why she didn't disclose the truth to Akash, Akash is reminding her she is part of this family she has to think about everyone not just anyone member. Now how does a family member react??? They disclose the truth and stick around to pick up the pieces. Who am I talking about here? The one and only MAMI!!!! I'm so happy that they are developing this, ever so slightly but they are.

Nani: Torn between the pain of her two grandchildren. As she soothes one, she is reminded of the others worries, she plays the balancing act and helps both out as best she can.

Mami: She protects her niece like she is her own, no shame, no disgrace only love

Payal and Khushi: Payal watches Khushi carry her burdens and shows her she is here to help shoulder her burdens, it was lovely to watch. Unfortunately, Khushi doesn't share her burdens with anyone but ASR

The Guptas: They are so happy to know that their daughter's lives are happy, they can celebrate because their responsibility has now passed. Shashi looked a tad better, can we assume that he is getting better??? His and Khushi's relationship is the most beautiful father daughter relationship I have seen in a long time. I loved how he would explain to her the things she was doing, calm her down, she needs him to understand Arnav because Arnav is so complex even Arnav himself can't understand him.

OHHH I JUST HAD A BRILLANT IDEA!!! ARNAV NEEDS A MALE PRESENCE HE RESPECTS WHOSE ADVICE HE ADHERES TO JUST LIKE IN THE BEGINNING IT WAS WITH SHYAM, THAT PERSON CAN BE BABUJI. HE IS SO LOGICAL AND SIMPLIFIED THE PERFECT ANIDOTE TO ARNAV'S DARK AND BROODY!!!

Now for the meat:

Arnav: I don't want to touch Arnav Redwine1 will do it; she is so under the skin of him that I don't even want to go there. I will say that I love the transition of his dilemma of heart and mind and now its within his heart. LOVE the angst love it. He really is one hell of a character. I especially love that every time he miss judges her some fact comes out and dumbfounds him, today it was the fact that it is her birthday.

Khushi: Today she told Arnav that everytime she starts to forget, ASR reminds her about who he is. Today, she couldn't take the pain she has inadvertently caused, today, she couldn't take his harsh words even though he is desperately trying to recall them. Ironically, it was Shyam who once told him that once words are said they cannot be taken back. Khushi's burden is too much for her to bear, she wants to fix it. But she doesn't realize that there is no bandaid, quick fix solution that will fix everything. Her leaving, will not solve the problems.

What I hated was the fact that all that happened was hidden from the Guptas. I mean when is all this hiding going to end, didn't Khushi learn her lesson??? And what the hell Payal just agreed, so Akash's advice went over deaf ears??? I WANT THE GUPTAS TO KNOW AND I WANT THEM TO REPRIMAND KHUSHI FOR HIDING THE HAPPENINGS FROM THEM. Yes yes I get that she wants to protect her family from the pain, but the very fact that they are a family means she should trust them and they will help her shoulder her burdens. Such a bad example !!!!

And now to the most interesting 2 mins on the show'..

Anjali:

Yes I get her sitting on the bed lost in a daze, when dreams end that is what happens (speaking from experience here), Yet the blank expression is disturbed marginally when Arnav mentions Khushi, only marginally'. Which is why I can't wait for the story to unfold here. Now the question remains does Anjali blame Khushi? Or are the members or RM just assuming she does? What is Anjali thinking? She just wants her husband back wants an explanation why Arnav believed Khushi? Basically, she is missing the whole truth. But like the Jack Nicolas line in A FEW GOOD MEN, she just can't handle the truth. Arnav need to tell her that he doesn't need evidence because he saw it and heard it with his own eyes. But he cannot do that because he is afraid of what it will do to her. Nani had once said to both Arnav and Anjali that their dad ruined everyone's life for love and she was afraid Arnav would do the same but it is Anjali who will do it by forcing them to bring Shyam back in.

Shyam Manohar Jha:

I might be the only person here who is missing him. (Anna too I think). But there better be a damn good explanation of him being so quiet and not even trying to reach Anjali. Yes yes, I am also happy that we are going to get a big dose of romance tomorrow but I really want a good story and romance weaved in, not romance and a semblence of a story!

Weird Observations:

Ok so when Arnav goes looking for Khushi around RM, did anyone notice his walk being weird, I don't know what it is, but there is just something about it.

Anjali wearing thicker saris, atleast we can pretend she is pregant without the view of her flat tummy.

And that was my two cents for today.
