Sorry for the shorter than usual post folks, but I'm in a mood to celebrate Khushi's birthday, and plus have a long busy day tomorrow, so please forgive me.
===============================================
Khushi thinks back on Arnav's words, that if 'she hadn't come in his life none of this would have happened, and most of all Di would be happy.'
Khushi has always lived for other's happiness. Her happiness is always secondary. To her, seeing other's happy and giving happiness to others is a way of her being happy.
When it comes to Arnav, this girl can go to any lengths to bring happiness in his life, even if it means sacrificing her happiness and comforts over and over again.
The person who holds prime importance in Khushi's life right now is Arnav. His happiness is of utmost importance to her. She knows and understands the depth of his love and attachment for his sister. She remembers their bond, the raksha bandhan, the day Arnav went to get Anjali back in the house... one can see in Khushi's eyes - the longing to be with Arnavji, and yet knowing that the one way to keep him happy is to keep his Di happy, and that would be by leaving RM.
Khushi sees that until his Di isn't happy, Arnav won't be happy, and until she - Khushi is present in RM, Di won't be happy, and hence Arnav too will not be happy.
She is leaving not solely for Di's sake, or because she has been told to stay away from Anjali, or because she is the cause of Anjali's condition... no, Khushi is leaving because she can't bear to see her Arnavji sad.
Yes, she did think of Anjali too. She did dwell on the brother-sister bond being slightly strained now, and she did understand that by her absence things could be mended - but it wasn't purely for Anjali's sake, the main reason was Arnavji.
All for love, all out of love for her Arnavji - just to let him have peace of mind, just to ease his burden, a way to release him from being divided between Di and herself, a method to help him, a way to ensure his happiness - that's why Khushi decided to leave RM - Only for her Arnavji.
As for Arnav... he's a man who grapples with voicing what he feels for Khushi. He's really sorry for the words he said to her. He never meant them, never ever does mean them when he's in reverse psychology anger mode, and all he wants is for her to be with him. She is his support, his strength, his equal. He talks rubbish sometimes, gawd didn't she know that? But no, this time Khushi says that he is right. She is the cause of all the troubles in his and Di's life. The best move is to leave them alone and let them live their life without her.
Arnav has already lost her Khushi too many times before. Out of ego, out of pride, out of misunderstanding, and out of unfortunate events. The last time he almost lost her haunts him. Her lifeless body in his arms, her cold hands, her closed eyes - they made him realize just how much this girl means to him.
No way is he going to let her go like this. She can't just walk out of his life because of some nonsense he rattled off in anger! There is fear in his eyes, of losing Khushi all over again, of losing a part of him, of distancing the one person who should be nearest to him. He tries to make her stay, halts her move, stops her from going out, but when everything fails, he is left with no option but to bring forth ASR and mention the marriage contract of 6 months.
As she walks away, he hesitates, pauses a bit, and then decides that he won't allow her to go. He puts on his mask of anger, even though it pains him sorely inside to do it, but he has to do it, to keep her near to him, to keep her for himself, to keep his Khushi (his happiness) with him.
Note how he turns his back to her and talks. He doesn't want her to see the pain in his eyes, the regret that he is hurting her yet again so soon, the frustration that she is hardly leaving him any choice to make her stay, the angst within him that he has to hear her hurt, listen to her broken heart speak through her words.
Arnav wakes the next morning to find Khushi missing. So worried, so shaken, disturbed, and roused up he is about her, that he charges into Anjali's room asking if she has seen Khushi. The rule which he and Naani had agreed to was disobeyed by he himself! The poor boy was frightened that he had lost his Khushi, so much so that he forgot completely about Anjali's condition, and asked her about her medicine only to cover up for his mistake, and insensitivity.
HINT: Me thinks, that a time may come when Khushi will be much more important to Arnav than Anjali (though I would like them to be on the same level, let's see). And oh, before you guys start hitting Anjali, I don't think Anjali would ever mind Khushi stepping in as the important one in Arnav's life. At least, once Anjali is fine, and out of this emotional turmoil, and goes back to being herself, or a stronger self - then at that time she won't mind Khushi being topmost in Arnav's life.
Khushi hasn't realized that Arnav's Khushi (happiness) is she herself. If she leaves, then his Khushi leaves, how then can Arnav be happy?
Barun changing from Arnav to ASR!: I love it each time he slips into the dual personalities of his character. ASR came to his rescue today by bringing up the contract, even as Arnav was hurting within for doing the very act that hurt Khushi. 😭
Khushi walking out for Arnavji's happiness: Both of them possess immense amount of love for one another. Khushi has mainly Arnavji;s happiness in mind, and even though it may pain her a lot, she will go away just to keep his Di happy so that he is happy! 😭 😭
"Shaitaan hai aap...": This girl has been so habituated to his swinging roles of a lover and then a heart-breaker, that it's just natural for her to come up with this line. Numerous times has Arnav shown her beautiful promises, only to shatter them grandly.
Slamming of the door: I knew Khushi wouldn't burst out at him like she did at the guest house incident, but she slamming the door was enough to satisfy me! 😃
Payal-Aakash Rift: Oh the Raizada men! Temper is mightier than sense! Hot-blooded men these are... if only they would turn this 'hot' quality in other directions! 😛 Laughed at this one from Aakash...😆 why CV's? Why are you bent upon giving him lame dialogues? Akshay Dogra deserves better!
Payal-Khushi bond: Thank you so so so so so much CV's!! Aapne hamaari baat sun li! This was a very good touch, especially after Payal being lectured by Aakash about her priorities as a Raizada bahu. If the hug could have lasted a bit longer... lekin chalo, dikhaaya toh sahi the sister's there for each other, comforting, and supporting each other! Very very good! 👍🏼
Gazing at the stars: I have always liked the significance of the stars in this story. Khushi looking up at them, silently conversing with her parents. Arnav looks up too, knowing what is going in her head. Memory of them looking at the stars together once before... their parents looking down at them. SIGNIFICANCE: Re-marriage on it's way - papa-mummy ke blessings ke saath!
Marriage Flashback: Again, re-marriage will happen, also because of Arnav's monologue - main tumhe jeet kar hi rahunga... contract khatam hone se pehle, main tumhe phir se lekar aaoonga (something along those lines, can't remember the exact dialogue, sorry).
Arnav looking over at Khushi's side of the bed: Okay, couldn't resist this, but they ARE sharing the bed!! Yay, yay... 😃
Arnav asking Anjali about Khushi: Oh my gawd, how I laughed at this one. 😆 Arnav bituwa - practice what you preach! Khushi is the one thorn that pricks Anjali and you know that, phir bhi you went and asked her so concernedly about Khushi's whereabouts.
Khushi's name again jars Anjali a slight bit: The fact that Arnav is running around worriedly searching for the girl who has been the cause of her husband being thrown out saddens Anjali again. Anjali is only concerned about Shyam and herself right now. So don't go thinking that Anjali has bad thoughts about Khushi. Any woman in her position would probably be the same. Khushi's name just triggers the fact even more deeply that her fantasy-world and her perfect husband are no more with her. It just increases the loneliness, the abandonment and the loss Anjali feels.
Naaniji's hand on Arnav's shoulder: For a moment he thought that it was Khushi. He was relieved and turned, only to find Naaniji there. Poor chotta bachha... felt sad for him. 😔
Arnav turns to ASR again: The moment he gets to know that Khushi has gone to Buaji's house, his jaw clenches, his lips a straight line, his eyes narrow, fire fills them - and whoosh off he goes in a blast of fury!! B.T.W: was that a hint of fear I saw in his eyes before he goes angry? Fear that he has lost Khushi forever? Fear that she will stay on in Gupta House? Fear that Khushi won't come back to RM with him?
Khushi, Buaji and Pickle Jar: Aaah, one of my ever favourites - The pickle jar - A preservative. Khushi will preserve all the relations at RM. Paramount relationship being hers and Arnav's. Buaji too will see to it the preservation of their relationship, because once before also she had the pickle jar with her while talking to Khushi.
Khushi-Devi Maiyya-Arnav-GH members: Hint at re-marriage yet again! Kitne re-marriage ke hints the is episode main? Wouldn't be surprised if the re-marriage is done in the maha episode. Celebrate her birthday, and re-marry her as her birthday gift! Want to know why I think it may be in maha epi? Because of the positioning in the scene - Khushi and Arnav closest to Devi Maiyya. Khushi with the poja ki thaal, and behind them blessings from Amma-Bauji and Buaji! Since they are all already present, it might happen tomorrow in the ME. Let's see if it turns out this way... if it doesn't, then re-marriage will anyway be there later on with the parent's blessings. 😊
I found everyone in character today again! 👏
Arnav brought out ASR during the contract talk, the knowledge of Khushi being at Buaji's place, and confronting her at Buaji's house (Kitne baar kaha hai ke jab main tumse kuch baat kar raha hoon toh tum meri taraf dekho')
Khushi was her usual selfless, self-sacrificing, living for other's happiness Khushi! Again, she keeps the big hungama at RM a secret from her family people. Quintessential Khushi. I'm sure the CV's have something up their sleeves which is why they are not making Khushi disclose all that has happened at RM to GH people.
Anjali, Payal, Maami and Naani all in character. Please do keep focussing on Payal too CV's!!
Aakash Raizada - since he is so doggedly loyal to Arnav, it's of no surprise that he's picked some of Arnav's traits, though I think Arnav would have been more understanding... or maybe that's because I have a soft spot for Arnav. 😳Whatever, I like this new edge to Aakash, though his dialogues don't please me very much! 😔
Was so happy to see GH members after such a long time! Good surprise also it was! They have such an earthy, grounded, genuine feel to them, that one can't help feel at peace and calm when they show Amma, Bauji and Buaji!! Love them loads! 🤗
Barun Sobti: He looked tired, cheeks puffed, eyes dull, and loads of greasy long hair! But even then, good performance while trying to stop Khushi from leaving. 👏
Sanaya Irani: Girl I love your smile! It was so nice to see you chirping at GH. Loved you in the whole episode... the longing to be with Arnavji, and yet knowing that the one way to keep him happy is to keep his Di happy, and that would be by leaving RM - well done! 👏 ⭐️
Deepali Pansare and Akshay Dogra: As much as I waited patiently for the misunderstanding and kidnapping track to end, I am waiting with the same patience for your roles to broaden! I know you two can do well once you have more screen space, and I'm waiting for that! 🤔
