nice post... I am still numb after watching today's episode... I still want to give Anjali benefit of the doubt that may be she is doing all this coz of trauma and because no one has bothered to tell her the complete truth... but now i cant even convince myself... I mean whatever happened was bad... but I wanted to see a stronger Anjali coming out of this situation not a manipulative one...

I said before when Arnav Slapped Shyam the first slap came for hurting his Di the second one was for disrespecting his wife... so for Arnav Di comes before Wife... and I am afraid it will always be that way...

I am not sure if Khushi will ever be as important to Arnav as Anjali is... she is Important right but she does not stand a chance when compare of Anjali... and that is exactly what we saw today... Arnav was so overwhelmed with his Di's pain and condition that he forgot about the second most important person in his life and hurt her very badly... it wasnt till he was away from both of them that he realized that he wronged the second most important person in his life...

Arnav needs to find balance between relationships... coz unfortunately he is stuck in between two most important people in his life and he has to do justice to both... and make sure that he does not hurt one because of the other...

A few years back, I was volunteering at a women's shelter. Abuse victims be it women, children whoever arrives there to get away from their abusive husband, father, boyfriend etc.

I have seen many women there who comes over and over to the shelter.

Why? Because they got beaten up by someone. Then that said someone comes back and says sorry and flirts with them for a while or praise them... They feel that now everything will be fine... and they go back to the same situation...

I'm not saying that Arnav is going to beat up Khushi. But his man-handling and verbal abuse are extremely painful to watch. And if Khushi forgives him easily this time, my respect will hit rock bottom for her.

If I wanted to see typical saas-bahu saga, I would watch Gopi bahu...

I don't want to watch it in IPK...

Domestic violence doesn't only consist of beating... man handling and verbal abuse along with mental trauma is also a part of it... and you really defined qualities of a abuser... most of them do come back sweet talk and to take you back but never actually stop the abuse... I have seen a real close family member deal with it for years... and even though we tell her to leave him she keeps going back to him for sake of her child... Because when her husband sees that is about to serve all ties with him... comes back to her on his hands and knees and apologies and asks her to think about their daughter's better future... emotionally blackmail or sweet talks her into going back with him...

Arnav does the same… he was away from Khushi and when he was kidnapped and all he could think about was Khushi….. he lost her for a while and tried to revive her like he couldn't live without her…. But now that he has her…. he is Okay and Di becomes priority…..

I am not trying to label Arnav as an abuser but he is coming really close….

Watched the Arshi scene again.. and realized what Arnav said.. you have no idea what I had to do to stop her.. if I had been a minute late.. I dont know what would have happened.. Why did that idiot not remember how Khushi had tried to kill herself.. but remember why? she tried to kill herself so that Arnav would be happy.. she didn't try to kill herself because of emotional trauma.. she suffered everything for you.. arggghh.. stupid stupid Arnav..

Ok, I'm back to feeling terrible.. sigh! I am going to stop watching the episode and thinking about Arshi.. instead will go and get some work done!
