Even I liked the OTT... in fact I'm rewatching it all again on Star Utsav... now a days the GH track is happening... and the suicide attempt is gonna be in a couple of day... loving it... I loved Khushi's will...

( u probably dont even know these serials) ... but there were gr8 content positive . thot provoking .. & packed with positive social message ..

Arrey, Ruuubbbyyy, even I am not into watching serials, IPK is my first , and that too reading 150 pages everyday and chatting 😆...

Ruuubyyy yara, I remember my cousin sister( much elder to me ) talking about Mungeri lal ke sapne, fauji, Udhaan, buniyad, wagle ki duniya, ye jo hai zindagai, ...u remineded me of my cousin when u said all this... did u watch all this ...??????????

bana diya Tups ne mujhe buddha .. yea babe i did ,... this was gr8 content .. today good content doesnt get TRP

Look at 10:30 band ..u have bade on sony... PV on zee .. pratigya on star & Na bole on Colors .. out of all this .. Na bole is the only one which is progressive .. has a hint of realism in it .. but whats the fate NO TRP ..

Look at our serial ... TRP pressure makes them do drama .. the audience wants illogical OTT stuff .. then they sit & ask for LOGIC ...

All the women here who were braying for ASR's blood .. & talking about real time reactions .. what r they watching .. ... a bloody documentary ... Satyamev jayte is also scripted here ..

Nahiiinnn Rubby, dont think u r Budha, i dont mind whatever you age is , I lubbb chating to you, i lubbb the romance chats on arhi we have here... Of course SJ is scripted..and I might sound acerbic and little OTT critical..Aamir Khan got paid 3 crore for each episode to shed his tears at some selected stories while the situation still remains as grave as it was before!!

But you gotta give it to the man..He knows what will bring viewers back to the TV screen on sunday mornings...He's wayyy ahead of his counterparts as far as PR and marketing is concerned!!

Sorry guys for that whole diatribe on TV content .. know it was nothing to do with IPK .. but content on TV is a very sore topic for me .. i tend to get on my high horse ... 😃

We are ignorant about such topics Ruby, so it's always interesting to read something new, and learn something that we know little about... keep on with your tv, content talks, hum bhi kuch seekhe aap se! 😊 and oh, what a frickin' awesome post you wrote!!! y favourite was the part that ASR did not have to justify his actions and about his wife for Shyam! Brilliant point about his character you brought out there!! Also loved the way you came up with the 'freeze frame' - i wouold have certainly enjoyed the scene better the way you described it!!! 👏👏

See that's the problem in India..People will cry out for logic but when they come up with subtle and logicl and intense stuff,the audience doesn't buy it!!

We'll take this offline .. nahi to mods maarenge .. 😉

He Is on a TIME BAND .. which was the most successful time band .( ramayan & mahabharat time band) .. earlier .. now it is an ignored time band .. no competition on this band .. available on 9 channels .. hard hitting topics .. still no path breaking TRP ( avg. TRP for all 9 channels is 3)... marketing .. if Gul got 6 crore marketing budget with the brains of all the IIMs & micans in star behind her ... she too will crack it BIG TIME ...😉

Completely agree. The biggest problem in the storyline was - Khushi's attempted suicide !! This part of the story stood totally isolated from the flow .
