Thanks everyone for the healthy discussion on this topic. I appreciate you all taking your time to share your views. Let me clarify here what made me mad...

From the ancient times, women are the one who were always blamed for everything - Be it war, be it destruction, be it loss... Today I felt I was watching Khushi and Payal's dignity being raped in front of everyone and the only person whose job was to defend their honour were standing and watching them being disgraced.

Aakash knew that he was the one who was so desperate to get married to Payal.
Arnav knew that he was the reason for Payal's first marriage breaking up as well as the one who forced Khushi to marry him.

Yet, when Shyam accused both sisters for trapping the rich Raizada men, they decided to take a vow of silence.

They decided to watch two women they claim to love endure insults and accusations and watch the entertainment like innocent bystanders.

As a woman, I felt humiliated on Khushi and Payal's disgrace. Even NK was better than their own husbands. At least he tried to defend them.

Khushi had to plead in front of Arnav after all she went through to save his life at the cost of her own, for him to start reacting.

I expected him to defend her honour but he kept his mouth shut until the last moment and just a lukewarm claim to Khushi and Di being the most important person in his life before slapping Shyam, just does not cut it for me.

If that's all he had to say, then why did not he speak up earlier?

What was the reason for the late dramatic entry after Khushi in the first place? Why wait outside?

It seemed to me, today two daughter-in-laws of the family was thrown at the wolf to tear apart while the whole family watched the entertainment.

well it was a nail-biting episode today. but dont know why u all r disappointed in ASR? how can he choose between hid Di and khushi? remember he has realized that and accepted his love for khushi just in the previous episode that is a few hrs ago acc to story timeline. but he has loved his DI from the start and till now. if u wach the epi carefully when shyam says that khushi is so cheap that she can trap her jiju also "jiju pe dore dal sakti hain" ASR is about to speak up but looks at his half-fainting Di and shuts up. so its not that he is choosing Di OVER Khushi instead he knows his Di is more fragile than khushi who will understand. even she did not want to reveal the truth till now for the same reason.
Yes he could have said something after throwing shyam out but anjali passes out. the tellybuzz segment showed that ASR will reveal his 6-month marriage. maybe he will do so on monday when he will explain to his family members after taking care of anjali. nd till that time no one is going to throw either sisters out of the house.

thats what i think.
ur comments and views are welcome

You stole words from my mouth.
For me, ASR who spoke less was ok, I can cope up with it.

But he royally let shyam skrew his wife's image. And reacted only after a tearful pleading from wifey dear, one of the most important person in his life. What a fate khushi has? As of now I would not envy her for being the wife of mighty ASR. The delay screwed the en tire scene for me.😕

Where is the trust factor which CVs want to highlight all along?😕

raizadas the way aakash reacted when arnav was trying to throw shyam said it all...the innocence of gupta sisters is not proven...why the hell was arnav silent fr his di..come one yaa..when he was kidnapped he didnt even thought abt his di..he thought khushi only..why the hell he left her alone..khushi is lone fighter...she is always alone...like sita in ramayana...he knows how shyam behaves with khushi...but he didnt utter an word...why didnt he..raizadas will defo MU gupta sisters unless buaji and amma come and clarify their doubts..i feel payal and khushi will leave RM...😕

Tia what you say makes me draw parallels with Mahabharat. I know my comparison is far fetched but the scene today made me think of this The Pandavas and the rest of the great men in the Kuru clan could have stopped Draupadi from getting disrobed, but they did not. The revenge later proved Pandava's to be great warriors, brought them glory made them invincible in front of the world. What was sacrificed was the dignity of the wife? Isnt it similar the redemption will later on prove Arnav worthy but what is sacrificed is Khushi's dignity and self esteem now in front of the family. Will the pain tat she faced today ever go away ? No the scars will always remain, the innocence that was the very essence of this person will be robed for ever.

I am so hoping Monday brings us something better for Khushi and Payal...

agree

very very disappointed

the slap was way too late and way too less

even his dialogue with it could not redeem it

for 20 minutes his wife was insulted left right and centre and called all but a sl*t ... and then she had to plead with him repeatedly for him to show any reaction

PATHETIC!!!

and at the end of it ... it was not even proved that she was telling the truth all along!

WHAT NOW!
