Arnav doesnt care about society or the institution of marraige, hence he was ok with a live in relationship with Lavanya.

In addition to TRP and Khushi's dreams the PH will show remarraige as Arnav had abused it in the first place, the hate marraige images has to be blurred out from Khushi's memories and substituted with her dream wedding.

The argument of love can also hold good for a live in relationship.
