Both the characters are to be to sympathized for different reasons but may not be in equal measures.

I would not sympathize much for Anjali to be honest , she is the reason for her delusion which are the cause of her own sufferings . Pregnant,physically handicapped etc are not the reasons I sympathize here.I feel she is mentally handicapped than physically. Normally, people like Anjali in real life has more strength in life than the normal person and would know what and how to lead life. She is brought up in a family surrounded with people around nani,mami,arnav,akash ,mamaji who are caring and protected towards her.Whats the use if it really ?

I would not sympathize with Khushi either.Her never die attitude is what gives her strength in life to lead , even if she keeps falling down 101 times in life.Even though if she gets re-married to arnav , her marriage will not last longer to live with her husband happily ever after .Will Khushis only dream ever be fullfilled?

I remember one of the RM interview by Abhaji, where she was mentioning abt - what is Arshi love story? which is same as the tag line "nafrat paas anena de , mohabaat dor jane na de"
