It was 8:05pm at the gupta house and khushi was searching for her mobile to call her friend swapnika, for the past 1 year it has been a daily act for khushi to call her friend during the breaks of her favorite daily soap "ISS PYAAR KO KYA NAAM DOOM" staring barun and sanaya, to discuss about that day's episode!!! That day barun confessed his love to sanaya and that was definitely the talk of the town for the young girls!! "FINALLY!!", screamed khushhi as she took her mobile and dialed swapnika's number'.
khushi: hello'.??
swapnika: aahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,,'''''''omg!omg!
khushi: im soo happy !!! I cant believe tat he said it'sanaya looked soo pretty!!
Swapnika: exactly!! Thank god my mom's not home'she would have completely freaked out seeing me like this!!...ohhh..it started, call u during the next break and do keep your phone next to u!!
Khushi could hear raba ve..playing in the TV as she rushed back to the living room. She loved the serial loads and knew she couldn't miss a episode at any cost!! How else can life go for a 17 year old girl? Khushi was studying in 12th standard in ST. Xavier , Delhi. Her parents died when she was 8 years old and she has been living with her foster parents Shashi Gupta and Garima. Unlike the evil step-parents in the fantasies, khushii's parents were very sweet and caring. Swapnika has been khushi's best friend for the past 9 years. They have been with eachother during all the tough times. They know the value of love and are waiting to meet their sole mates one day to rabba ve like SARUN,the epic characters!!
RABA ve'.!!!!! Rabba veee'..!! (khushi looked at her phone with teary eyes that would burst out any moment..she picked up her mobile when silent tears made its way down her rosy cheeks..
Khushi: h'ello' ( khushi could hear her friend weeping on the other end) its okk'everything will be alright!!,,,''..i hope so!!!
Swapnika: hmm'.yess!! once barun comes back he is gonna kill that snake!!
Khushi: hmm'.soo completed the English assignment??.
Swapnika( back to normal): no yaar!! There is this new guy who is coming to our school and he is a big shot or something and most probably he will be studying in our class and soo the first period, English will get cut!!
Khushi: ohh' soo my friend's brain has started working again huh??
Swapnika: na! I heard Malika mam talking about it to lavanya!!
Khushi: whatever it is im going to complete it by tomorrow!!
Swapnika: ah!! U will never change Ms.Perfect!! soo byee will meet tomorrow and be early!
Khushi: yup!! Byee ,..goodnight!!
With that she kept her mobile and resumed to the assingnment. It had been a long day and khushi left her bed!! She stared at the fluorescent stars that she had stuck on the ceiling and thought about how things had changed in the past 9 years. She slept peacefully after watching an emotional episode of her fav. Daily soap with the happiness of getting to meet all her friends after the 1 week holidays!
Little did she know that she is going to meet the person who is going to change her life forever and ever''
