Isn't the above case a reason to sympathise with her character?? I watched the episode where she blackmailed Khushi into coming in RM for the first time the other week - I did see her manipulative side, and it's quite dangerous as well, but then she's also very honest about her own manipulations, as her reasoning behind it is always the safety/benefit of her family...true, she does need to overcome her own problems, but I think once her illusion shatters completely, I reckon she'll find a way to rectify her previous stance as well. Just like sheamended her treatment of Khushi by apologising to her and her family.

Lol I have no idea if the above makes any sense! 😛

She manipulated for the well being of the family not caring that Khushi will be facing humiliation, not bothered that Khushi is not comfortable with the thought of returning to RM, Not worried that Khushi refused and reluctant to come.. ... Then why castigate her now when she is doing for the well being of her marriage ??
You know girls...sorry for barging in...but I want to share something in this discussion...I always felt Anjali was self entered,manipulative,dominating, over possessive and she could be ruthless at times...just the time she very ruthlessly blackmailed Khushi into working for Rm. and sorry, I cannot sympathsize with her physical problem because in the real world women goes through these hardships and comes out of it. So, I cannot sympathize with a woman who doesn't have any selfrespect.

Mita.. the thing here is no one has realized that part that they are being manipulated. For Anjali being the darling of the family.. she is having a fun ride. Its the weakling in the family who gets the most attention and here it is Anjali. Arnav has shut him off and has drawn a line and has never let anyone cross it. And look how many expeditions Khushi had to make to finally enter that heart. It was not easy task..

What was wrong with that dialogue ... was that mistrust or plain simple irritation .. on her husband which came out .. that time ..

because if she mistrusted her .. she wouldn't have called her from the temple to validate ...

C my point is ... because we have assumed the future .. we have formed opinions of the characters ... all i am asking at status quo ... where is Anjali wrong ... does she as a fellow woman deserve our sympathy ...

wasn't her hubby cheating on her ... wasn't her sis in law trapping her hubby ... ?

whats her fault ... that she trusted her hubby ...?

whatever be the anjali nature she was cheated by a person ..so feel bad and sympathaise her...

Sure, she deserves some sympathy for the Shyam fiasco...but on the whole her personality comes across as selfish...so for me it becomes difficult...

If I were Anjali I would be irked if someone made a decision for me. Khushi is not only one who is going to face Anjali, her own brother will also get the same treatment from her. After that shaym will face wrath when she finally knows the whole truth.

To me what good came out of all this hiding, now the situation has changed. Anjali is going to have a baby with a man who is a cheat and crazy man.

WHy is she living in an illusion lizzy ... up untill now what cause did she have to mistrust her hubby?

IF ur referring to getting Khushi to work for her ... then that was a last resort of a woman who was desperately trying to save the sanctity of her house ..

So in that sense we must not like nani as well... because it was her subtle manipulation of Anjali that led anjali to get khushi to work @ RM ..

Everyone in this serial has in their way manipulated Khushi to meet their ends ???

So why anjali alone ????

The bold part is soo very true... be it Buaji, Garima or ppl in RM... all hv manipulated Khushi in one way or the other...Babuji & Payal has been with her always as per me but time & again hv corrected if she is wrong in a sutle way...

Damn - Khushi's pretty much fighting against the whole world then! Now that is where I'd sympathise with her character, the fact that she's being manipulated by everyone around, and yet is willing to be manipulated...perhaps.
