It is strange how life comes full circle to explain something to you. I have of course been going over the scenes of last night's episode in my head but one scene rendered me speechless and a person like me who is not in to decoding symbolisms actually found one!!!
2 - 3 years back a friend of mine was jokingly saying stuff about my sister that would ideally create rifts. I told him why he was trying to light a fire and his reply was what I saw in IPK last night. He replied, 'Geeli lakdi mein aag lagane se koi fayda nahi hota.' which translates to, 'You cannot create fire in a wet piece of wood.'

The water poured on Arnav symbolises the washing away of all the MU's as a result of this kidnapping track. Arnav is going to return home with a lot of people trying to create rifts between him and Khushi, calling her a home wrecker and Anjali joining in but ... Arnav is not going to believe them. The lit matchsticks will reach but the water will not let any more damage happen!!!
We are going to have love, redemption and union of Arnav and Khushi!!!
