Arnav a thirteen year old was left at The Guptas Mansion By his father Mr.Amar Singh Raizada . He entrusted his son in reliable hands as he was going to London to set up his business . Now many might think Arnav was reluctant to leave his father but he wasn't. He had never liked his dad because he thought his mother left him because of his dad. He felt so lonely while living with his dad. His dad was too involved with the profits of his business that he forgot what a loss he was going to suffer , his child Arnav had not known emotions he was not nurtured properly by his dad and when his father gave a final look to say goodbye Arnav hadn't felt a thing.
He walked into the Gupta Mansion only to see Khushi and her elder sister Payal laughing about running around the house. This was completely new to him and he hated it. How could those people even laugh. Arnav just glared at them sitting on the sofa. Khushi had been running around teasing Payal about her drawing of her Prince Charming .
Khushi" Di Apke prince ki toh muh tedi hai"
Payal" Khushi ruko tum abhi aate hai"
And Khushi would run away laughing away to glory until she came to the sofa and banged her forehead onto Arnav . Both of them said "ouch" in symphony and then Khushi banged her forehead again. Arnav got pissed and said " Pagal ho kya ?" Khushi was like "Hum Pagal Nahi hai aur aap Kaun hote hai humein kuch kehne waale ..Or excuse me Mr.whoever you are aap andhe ho kya aapko dikha nahi ta ki hum aa rahe hai aur aap humare ghar mein kya kar rahe hain?"
Just then Shashi came into the scene " Khushi kya ho raha hai "
Khushi came to her dad " Babuji yeh ladka humein tang kar raha hai humaare saath lad raha hai"
Khushi was brilliant at acting . She aspired to become like Katrina cause of obvious reasons she loved Salman Khan. Just adored him. Well at that moment there were tears in her eyes .
Shashi could not handle his daughter's tears " Khushi mat ro plz beta dekho hum Arnav se kahenge , Arnav tumhein Khushi ka khyaal rakhnaa hoga theek hai aur abhi tum Khushi se sorry kaho plzz beta bura mat manna but mein apni beti ki aankhon mein aasu nahi dekh sakta " Shashi was particular about Khushi since she had a weak heart as her mother had died when she was born and she was his most precious gem his life .
And for the first time in his life he'd uttered a sorry . This was the beginning of their story...
Arnav had confined himself to the boundaries of the room he was given . He went to school , came back did his homework was regular in everything didn't cause any nuisance except when he was with Khushi . Khushi and him were like poles apart . They could not be together and it would always be Payal trying her best to stop them to fight he was like a dog and she was like a cat. They hated each other and those typical sarcastic comments they would give about each other . They just couldn't be put together .
But again they both would just be craving to see each other maybe to fight or whatever they shared a Tom-Jerry type of relationship.
Khushi was fifteen and Arnav was sixteen when they first felt for each other and it all happened like this ...
"Khushi !! Arnav edhar aayiye " Shashi called them .
"Ji papa" "ji uncle" Came the response as they reached the hall they looked at each other with the " I will kill you look " by shrinking their eyes while looking at each other.
"Beta hum aur Payal , Payal ki admission ke liye Mumbai jaa rahe hain aur hum 7 days ke baad aayenge "
"Kyaa " Arnav and Khushi looked at each other as they responded together .
" Papa mein Arnav ke saath Saath din no way papa .. Papa I'll come with you "
Arnav could not utter a word as he respected his uncle and more so as he had taken care of him ahad instilled some feelings in him . He was grateful.
" No Khushi aapke Exams aa rahe hai aur Arnav hai isliye hum apko chod kar jaa rahe hai beta we'll be back soon"
Khushi tried her best to convince her dad but her dad didn't revert his decision and he left with Payal.
Now Khushi and Arnav were alone . Khushi took a red tape and dragged Arnav with her and he was like " What the " " Dekho Arnav humein padhai karni hai ok aur tumse ladna bhi nahi hai ..dekho pehle hi keh dete hai yeh red tape marks the division hum aapke side mein nahi aayenge aur aap humaare side mein nahi aayenge " "Deal? " Khushi asked and Arnav agreed after all it was seven days you were talking about and that to alone with Khushi.
That night Khushi was doing her drawings when the electricity got cut. She was really scared of the dark and having a weak heart didn't help. She was frantically sweating she fiddled her way in the room to get match-sticks.
On the other hand after the electricity got cut Arnav had lit a candle and was perfectly settled when he thought about Khushi . In these two years he had known Khushi the best in his house her likes her dislikes everything obviously as probably she was his enemy. He was quite worked up now he knew Khushi had a weak heart and was afraid of the dark. Should he go and Help her? Just then he remembered uncle asking to take care of her. He stood up and took the candle with him to Khushi's room . he found that khushi was sweating frantically and when she saw Arnav with the candle .she just ran upto him and hugged him tight she didn't let go but Arnav didn't know how to react he .kept the candle on the table making sure she didn't lose her grip off him. He just hugged her back . After she pulled away from him. He held her hand and said "Khushi its ok Im here ok chalo ". Khushi tightened her grip over his hand. He led her to her bed taking a glass of water he made her drink it. He said "Khushi go to sleep mein hoon yahan ok" . Initially his plan was to make her go to sleep and go out but looking at Khushi's condition he decided to stay with her. Khushi's head was lying on Arnav's shoulder and Arnav's head on Khushi's as they woke up the next day. Arnav and Khushi both didn't know how to react after all this situation was quite weird .
Arnav for the first time asked Khushi with a concerened and caring voice " KHUSHI TUM THEEK HO?"
Khushi was like " Haan hum theek hai "
Arnav was about to leave the room when Khushi called him"Thank you Arnav"
Arnav just smiled and left .
In the hall he said " Khushi I'll drop you to school"
"Theek hai" Khushi said and they both went by the same car for the first time.
He dropped her and Khushi for the first time felt her heart beating fast when he waved a bye to her . What was happening?
Anyways in the evening Khushi had left for her house walking alone as she had forgotten about the world and was contemplating the storm of feelings arising . Arnav had reached her school only to find her missing . He got so tensed he ran into the stores and everywhere but could not find Khushi. He tried her cell only to find it switched off . He looked everywhere and finally found her . HE yelled at her "Tum paagal ho kya agar tumhein kuch ho jata to aur tumhara mobile Khushi switched off tha pata hai I got so tensed agar tumhein kuch ho jata toh? What if I lost you !!" And Khushi was just still what was that .. Arnav calmed down he held her hand and said "Chalo Abhi ghar chalo" He looked at Khushi he realized she didn't want to go by the car . HE took Khushi walking hands-in 'hands . He took Khushi near the sea .
"Khushi you know what jab mein pehli baar yahan aya tha tab meri maa mere saath aayi thi aur meine pehli baar dil khol kar yahan par hassa that !! I had felt emotions aur uske baad meri maa mujhe chod kar chali gayi phir mere papa I have never been love aur phir U came Khushi You don'y know ki mein ne tum mein ek ajeeb si feeling payi I thought it was plain hatred cause I have never felt anything else aur phir jab tum mujhse door jaati thi I felt lonely the same type of feeling jab meri maa ne mujhe choda tha I didn't know how to react mujhe tumhari shaayad aadat ho gayi thi meine sa socha tha"
He held her hands close to his heart " Khushi lekin ab I know what I feel I know ki..Mein tumse...I love you Khushi " 'But its ur decision koi jaldi nahi hai Khushi ' He was about to leave her hand when she placed hers over his " Arnav , I love you too"
And both of them hugged each other . And thus began their love story which would last for eternity.
Khushi Arnav were the words that came to every1's mouth they were joined it was never Khushi or Arnav it was Jus Khushi Arnav. Everyone knew they were meant for each other. They were so lost in each other . They forgot their surroundings till...
Mr.Amar Singh Raizada returned to their mansion to take Arnav back...
