For starters u may b branded a basher but u ll end up attracting lots of comments on ur post. which means u r now famous. 😆

its not just students or youngsters. you will find women of all ages who can't digest an alternative point of view. and fame on forum? that just goes to show how skewed our realities have become isn't it.

personally, i have never liked forum-nannying. people telling me how i should comply, how i shoudl think and how i should be a good forum denizen. in the early days of my entry into IPK, I used to feel bad about occasional bashers who would come in with MIDs and make out and out "bashing" posts such as, BS is bla bla bla, SI is so bla bla bla. I even went out and wrote a few pieces against them. But over many weeks, my initial shock changed to laughter at these posts. Now, I read them, get a good laugh and report.

If you think i broke a rule, just report to the mods. we are all free agents here, reporting to no one in particular, owing allegiance to no one in particular. Cliques are so apparent in this forum, and it is fine, just play in your sand box and let me play in mine. Don't tell me how you are holier than thou because your so called "discussions" are superior material to read. Phooey! I probably find these pontificating discussions and 3000 words essay on character analysis boring. But thats my choice and opinion and if i leave you alone, you leave me alone.

some have taken it upon themselves to cleanse the forum of all evils. to them i say - you need to find better things to do with your life.

Good post. I agree. We should all respect each other's views and not engage in a mud slinging match.

OMG i was waiting for a post like this
Chocolate, jalebi, raasgulla, gullabjamun for you.
Seriously i hate the fact that when someone disagree or agree... people call him or her basher, there is no respect left.

Whenever I see one of your rant posts, I always read them because usually, you are putting into words exactly what I am thinking... minus the copious amounts of sarcasm. 😆 Please continue to preach away.

Just because I don't agree with somebody else doesn't mean I don't respect their right to voice their opinion. And it pisses me off if they don't give me the same respect in return. I'm open to debate and I understand that different people will interpret things differently- I just don't understand why just because I have something critical to say as opposed to just gushing with praise, I'm considered any less of a fan or... HEAVEN FORBID... a basher.

And then if you DARE to challenge any of the gushing-"true fans" of the show with so much as an iota of logic, they break down into a quivering, non-sensical mess and get PERSONALLY offended.

I now have the following Bookmarked and Saved, ready to present to the next person my opinion "offends", as you too are one of the more logical people on the forum and I'm sure you must also run into the same problem, might I recommend you do the same? 😆

You'd think so but...
A while ago, I got into a debate with someone about writing styles in fanfictions and literally EVERY SINGLE THING I said, they would misinterpret and take the wrong way and then they threw a hissy fit and made a post threatening to leave the forum.
I thought I was arguing with a particularly stubborn 12 year old and told them to stop behaving like such a child- few minutes later, the person PMs me calling me "extremely rude" and then reveals that they're in their 30s.

Nothing you can do but laugh at that.

I personally feel that everybody has a right to be happy. And if living in their own world, thinking the way they think is making them happy, who am i to burst their bubble. So basically we should all be allowed to live in our bubbles. Each one feels their own bubble is the best, biggest and most beautiful. Why delude anyone? Live and let live! 😊

I quite enjoyed the preaching, you do it well😉
On a serious note though, i totally agree, this is a forum so we should be open to all ideas whether we agree or not is a moot point, if everyone agreed then there'd be no discussion. And just because you don't agree with someone it doesn't make them wrong.
Random thought: I've always loved the english language but this forum has made me sick of a few of the words in it: 'bashing', 'basher', 'MU's, 'spoiler'... - honestly if heard these words in real life I'd run away screaming...
