Finally! Finally CV's you did a good job today with the first scene between Arnav and Khushi. And no, it's not just about the romantic telepathy that they shared, but the fact that these two had a heart to heart conversation!
How many of us were lamenting that all Khushi and Arnav do are leave things unsaid and incomplete? There were plenty of people who tore their hair apart just because the two love-birds seemed to discuss everything else except the topic in their hearts!
Today however, the CV's presented us a beautiful scene of a love conversation between Arnav and Khushi. So what if it's telepathic and not face to face? When heart-beats speak, the hearts listen, what more do you need?
There are people who share this unique bond. They are connected by these energy frequencies that tune themselves to each other's state/situation. Our Universe is filled with energy fields, energy frequencies and energy waves. It is believed that when you concentrate or meditate you are actually attuning yourself to those vibrations and frequencies.
If any of you have read Rhonda Byrne's book 'The Secret' you will be able to connect to what I'm saying. Rhonda Byrne, along with others, postulated that if you want to attract something in your life, you have to believe in it and work toward it and the Universe will give it to you, all because you connected with the frequency of that desire. Paulo Coelho's book 'The Alchemist' follows the same theory as the protagonist Santiago goes in search of treasure. His meeting with his love Fatima too is interesting as he instantly knows that she's the one for him, and they converse their feelings when they are far apart.
Coming back to Khushi and Arnav, they share this frequency between them where they can attune themselves to each other, their desperate need to be with one another, their longing to be beside each other safely, the desire to hold on to one another - all of this connects their hearts and sends their messages via their heartbeats.
His dream of Khushi being with him ends and wakes him up to the fact that she is not by his side. He is alone in the darkness, and she, the light in his life is nowhere in sight. A desperate call of her name by him reaches her heart. She is alerted at once that Arnavji is in pain and she looks around for him, almost as if she will find him right there but she is mistaken and she sits dejectedly by their poolside.
A soft whisper of her name as his heart-beat connects to hers, recognizing her presence, sensing her and reaching out to her. She hears her name, she is surprised and faithfully she replies wonderingly at this magical connection, "Arnavji?"
Unke dil ki dhadkane ek ho gaye!
What follows is a loving conversation between two lovers who kept fighting their love for one another all this time. A conversation that between two soul-mates who kept parting not realizing that Divine forces were at work that kept making them meet over and over again. Two soul-mates who had to just listen to each other's hearts to understand the depth of love carefully enshrined for each other. A conversation that opened their hearts completely to one another, and a conversation that united their souls, minds and hearts.
Arnav: Khushi sun sakti ho mujhe - can you hear me?
Khushi: Hameshaa'
Arnav: Tum taare dekh rahi ho na?
Khushi: Apne aur aapke amma bauji ko.
Arnav: Hamaare parents.
Arnav: Tumne mujhe iss vishwaas pe vishwaas dilwaaya... Kya kar diya tumne mere saath Khushi' Itni koshish ki... Itni zyaada koshish ki tumse nafrat karne ki - par nafrat nahi kar paaya... Khud ka dil meri baat hi nahi maanta.
Khushi: Humne kitni koshish ki - ki aap se pyaar na kare - lekin hamaare dil ne hamaari baat nahi maani.
Arnav: You know Khushi, main jab bhi tumhare paas hota hoon, tumse door jaane ki jaldi mein hota hoon, par jab bhi tumse door hota hoon, hameshaa tumhaare paas rehne ka khayal rehta hai. I don't need anything else Khushi, I don't need anything else.
Khushi: Aap paas raho ya door, ho toh hamaare saath hi na. Ye dooriyan hamaare rishte ko kamzor nahi bana sakti kyunki Hum ek doosre ko sun sakte hai, mehsoos kar sakte hai, ek doosre se baat kar sakte hai... Hum bahut jald aapko apne paas le aayenge Arnav ji.
Khushi: Aapsun sakte hai? Hamaare dil ki dhadkan ko?
Arnav: Hameshaa!
I love the way their conversation begins, Arnav asking, "Khushi can you hear me?" and she replies "Hameshaa (Always)". Her heart has always heard him. The lonely boy starved of real love, affection and care. Her heart always heard the unvoiced, and unexpressed loneliness in him, the little boy within who gave abundantly to others but didn't get much in return. Her heart has always been with him, and it will always be with him, listening to every heart-beat of his and conveying it to her.
Taare- Khushi-Arnav and Taare are one of the best touches given in this story. They both look at the stars, at their parents, at the blessings of their parents in their lives. The stars stand for Khushi's parents and Arnav's mother. For Khushi, the stars are her parents looking down on her, their blessings forever with her, the guiding lights in her turbulent life. Arnav on the other hand has never believed in things like stars holding any kind of meaning or sentiment. There was a time when Arnav mocked the romantics for penning poems on stars, there was a time when he he wondered if his mother was among those stars, there was a time when he threw Khushi's golden stars into the dust. This same cynic now has faith in these very stars. He sees that there is truth behind Khushi's words, that the stars do have meaning, significance and value.
Baat vishwaas ki hai:Indeed, faith is important in life. Faith doesn't hang around just religious people, faith is present in each and everyone for something or the other. You may not believe in God, or you may not visit holy places, but faith is what keeps you going in adversity, doesn't it? Can't help think of the song "Hum honge kamiyaab' man mein hai Vishwaas, poora hai Vishwaas, hum honge kamiyaab ek din!" Faith in each other, faith in their love, faith in their destiny together, faith in their togetherness, faith is what will be a driving factor in their relationship now on.
Nafrat paas aane na de, mohabbat door jaane na de: The tagline of this show was the invisible presence when Khushi-Arnav spoke about their feelings for each other. "Kya kar diya tumne mere saath Khushi'" It is not Khushi who has changed ASR or done anything, it's just her pure love for him that brought in new dimensions in his life. Her love has transformed him and yet has kept a few of his innate qualities intact. A man who never believed in stars now has faith in them, a man who fumbled to utter a 'Sorry' now says it with complete ease, a man who fought so viciously with himself over his heart and mind has now given in to his heart, his mind no longer rules him at this stage when it comes to Khushi, it is only his heart that reigns when he thinks of her. His heart refused to accept his fake hate toward her, his heart knew that ASR was not comfortable with the truth that he loves her, and it kept rejecting his claims of hate toward her, knowing that her love will help his heart overpower his mind and fake hate one day!
Khushi has never verbalized her true feeling of love to anyone, not even herself! She has many-a-time stopped at 'Pya'' without completing it with 'ar' at the end. Today however, she vocalizes it "Humne kitni koshish ki - ki aap se pyaar na kare - lekin hamaare dil ne hamaari baat nahi maani." She had realized her love for him after his prolonged absence and after knowing about his kidnap, but she never admitted it even to herself. At that time, it was just 'nadaani kar baithe', but it is not so today. Not when they have shared so much of themselves with each other during the kidnapping drama. Her heart has always been pure, and so it only harboured feelings of love for Arnav all this time, Khushi might have only subdued her feelings for Arnav now and then, but her heart would have submerged in guilt had she totally cast away her love for him.
Arnav too has now let himself be guided in his love by Divine forces. The very Divine forces that he turned a blind eye to, has been the constant guide in their journey of love so far. Each time they drifted apart, Devi Maiyya made sure that they came back together. No matter how bitter the words exchanged were, no matter how huge the spats between them were, no matter how many times they hurt each other knowingly, unknowingly, and no matter how great the misunderstanding between them was ' Divine help was there with them at every step of the way, to help them up, to get them going and to be by each other's side no matter what! Whether close or far, they have always been together, they are together and always will be together. Mere physical separation will not divide them, instead it will only bring them closer in unity. One in Spirit, One in Soul.
"Iss pyaar main sahi aur galat ka koi matlab nahin, sirf ek matlab hai, ki main hameshaa, hameshaa tumse'"
Well, their conversation completed Ranjha's dialogues as uttered by Arnav that day! You know, the heart never lies, and the conversation between Arnav and Khushi was purely from the heart. The truth is now out there, the truth of their love for one another. That love which they have been hiding, shielding, denying, and repressing all these days has bloomed now between them. That "ansuni, anjaani aavaz jo ek mauka ke liye taras rahi thi" that vague, unknown feeling has finally got the courage to come out from behind the curtains of their fears and establish itself strongly to each other, dispelling their hurt, pain, dread, mistrust, misunderstanding, and hate!
Their cob=versation ends on 'Hameshaa' again, with Khushi asking Arnav if he can hear her heart-beats na dhe says 'Hameshaa'. What a beautiful way to begin nd end this soulful talk. It started with her letting him know that she has always heard the voice of his heart, and he ends it by saying that he has always listened to the voice of her love to him.
However, one thought keeps niggling me, what exactly made Arnav have faith in those stars? I mean, the stars stand for their parents, so what exactly 'prompted' him to believe in them? Why the stars? Because he could hear Khushi? Puzzled'
Well, now that almost everyone's favourite part is over, let's skim through the rest, partly because my eyes are getting droopy and have a busy day tomorrow. Will go pointer wise ' faster, neater and more concise that way:
Khushi scared of darkness: A simple flashback of Arnav tells her how safe and secure she feels in the dark when Arnav is by her side. When Arnav is there she knows he will protect her from all harm, he will keep her safe and secure, and will do everything he can to make her feel comfortable. With him, she knows that she has someone who will support her and give her the peace, and care she longs for.
Shyam with the candle: A candle lights up the darkness, it shows you the way, it's a beacon of knowledge and truth. Shyam's ego, vanity, confidence and his pride have already shed light on his dark character for Khushi. He hands the candle over to her and she takes it. In Monday's episode itself he gave her most of his true self by reiterating about his love for her, and by trying to test/dupe her. She is now seeing him in his true light, and he has given her quite a good glimpse of his real persona by unmasking himself in front of her. Khushi is going to use this new found knowledge and truth to the best of her advantage. Shyam is also the one who will bring in light in Arnav-Khushi's life, though only after a whole darkness for them.
NK-Khushi: Khushi lets slip about Shyam trying to find excuses to touch her. NK is puzzled with this, and Khushi covers it up immediately. NK, though wondering about what she just said about Shyam, knows that Khushi is already highly disturbed and like an understanding friend doesn't pursue the topic but instead prompts her to think of the way ahead with Shyam.
Shyam-Khushi-Kheer: Kheer symbolises Grace of Gods and Wisdom, which Shyam is not going to get from Khushi. Gives me hope about tomorrow, that Khushi will way-lay Shyam yet again. For the future, he may not get to know what she really is up to. He has already been denied Prasad twice now, and him not getting Kheer from 'his' interest is bound to be unlucky for him, no?
Khush-Shyam-Anjali: Oooh, I love Anjali's icy glares! Daljeet Bhanot ' your stern, firm expression is making me your fanwa! 👏 The previous day she had seen Shyam and Khushi going together somewhere without informing her about it. Today she sees Khushi about to feed her patti-dev! Didn't I say yesterday, that Anjali's possessive side is being shown? Today showed us a bit more about that side of hers. Just look at the way her eyes move after opening the door. She is first shocked at what she sees in front of her, then her eyes move up to Shyam, and then shift down to Khushi, All the while one can almost sense the inner fury being controlled firmly while an ice-cold glare that burns through radiates from her eyes and stand. I don't know if it's a slip-up by the writers/dialogue writers. But Anjali tells Khushi 'Thanks' and not 'Shukriyaa'. First time at least that I heard her saying 'Thanks' to Khushi. If it was not a slip-up then it could just be a note on how she was seething inside to only say a curt 'Thanks' to Khushi. Shyam is hers, and hers alone ' the way she feeds him is proof enough of how this man belongs to her, he is under her authority and she will ignore the inconsistency of his behaviour as long as possible.
Buaji-Payal: My first notice went to the pickle jar there! And the last time we saw the pickle jar was when Naaniji was filling it and Masala Maama came up with his Taj Mahal line. Wondering if Buaji will have a role to play in the future in Anjali's pregnancy track. Or will she be preserving Payal-Aakash's relationship along with Maamiji? She also states 'Chaubees ghante' ' 24 hours. This is followed by 'Koyal jaisa gaao' (sing like a Koyal/Cuckoo).
My mind is too sleepy to decode these things, all I could think of was that Khushi is going to be like that Koyal for Shyam. She will sing a lullaby to whatever sense he has in his head with her sweet voice (meethe muh ki mauth sunaayehi usko).
And with her eyes, remember Buaji says, "Apne ankhiyon ka isthamal karo" ' Khushi is already aware of Shyam's weakness toward her 'nazar' (look) for him. She will use a different, softer, sweeter look with him at the right times in order to lower his defenses.
Just searched for Cuckoo (Koyal) and found that a cuckoo is associated with many songs and legends. Most of them fit so perfectly with Shyam-Khushi-Arnav-Anjali that my post will become really long if I put them down. Chalo, will put the main ones:
A cuckoo stands for symbol of a woman who lost someone she loved or who suffers from some misery ' This just makes me think of Anjali once she comes to know about Shyam's true misdeeds.
"You can only understand the song of a cuckoo if you suffer from pain" ' For Shyam. Khushi will be the cuckoo, busy making Shyam follow her tunes, and since he doesn't feel deep pain for anyone, except perhaps himself, which too is shallow, he will not understand the pain of being away from Arnav that is driving Khushi to go to such extents.
The Cuckoo warns about someone's ruse, protects the orphans, tells the truth about something. ' Self-explanatory I guess! Khushi has been warned about Shyam's true nature, Devi Maiyya is protecting the two orphans (Arnav-Khushi), and the truth is going to be out soon!
Well, that's it from me. I had a couple of other hints, will just jot them down yaha pe, and will explore them once I'm well-rested and energized, till then, you can mull over the following hints:
Hum dono ko ek hona chahiye (couldn't stop laughing at this innuendo!!) 😆
Aage ka sochna ' NK to Khushi - ASR and Khushi putting their brains together to defeat Shyam?
Buaji with pickle
Payal goes to GH ' Payal and Aakash separate? Payal back at GH (Gupta House)?
Ghar ka budhoo ghar ko laut aao
Jagah badalni padi ' future hint for the babies?
Humaare dilon mein ek hi baat hai ' Shyam to Khushi (today he was bharpur with innuendos that made me go 🤣
Chaubees ghante (24 hours)
