Great post. I loved both sequences because they defined how each character views love. Khushi was just accepting Arnav's love and demonstrated her shyness toward him. Her dream was full of innocence of a girl turned woman. Arnav is more passionate and he just wanted his wife to be very close to him. His dream demonstrated a maturity of being a grown man.

😆

I didn't dislike it exactly, but the kind of... unsubtlety (yes, I am fully aware 'unsubtlety' isn't a word :L) of the whole thing just made me laugh. For example, there is a moment where Arnav is staring into the distance like Mr Darcy and the wind is casually flapping his shirt open- I had to pause to give myself time to laugh.

The Diwali JHNH sequence was flawless- it was tense and the music was intense and there was no cheesy lip-synching and just... everything.

Teri Meri Volume 2 just didn't quite match up to JHNH or Teri Meri Volume 1 for me, and I was so hoping it would since Arshad Khan usually does a bang up job of these kinds of intense scenes.

Khushi's dream was a little bit "You have got to be kidding me." for me but it was sweet and fitted her, so it didn't make me laugh quite as much as Arnav's dream yesterday.

Best bit of Arnav's was Arnie Baby's fantasy of Khushi's outfit. Giving away his secret inner desires. The man is practically gagging for it. 😆

I know what u mean...in the case of Khushi's dream it was all girly..totally like a teenager dreaming about her prince and what she will do or rather they would do after he comes back, love and romance basically wrapped up in a pink, fluffy cocoon.

in case of Arnav's dream other than the obvious one about Khushi's dress that he dreamt of which in itself makes me revisit all those brooding glances that he used to give her...his dream seemed not to be that of ASR but a star struck lover. Maybe the CVs were aiming for Arnav the lover.

very well said! The analysis is just so perfect. the perspectives of a man and woman's dreams or inner feelings are so different and the CVs portrayed that beautifully.

ASR's dream was boring! Same song (the guy couldn't even pick a new song - how lame is that???), Kh was showing midriff (that was different), but ASR didn't do anything he doesn't already do with Kh (or hadn't done before marriage when he 'hated' her unconsciously rather than consciously).

ASR's dream should have shown him touching her more and HER touching him more - cos that's the way ASR would probably dream about Kh and himself, about her wanting him and vice versa.
