This post is done on special request from Avni... It was her mastermind... Last night when we were chatting, she bribed me to write this post...
Everyone was discussing regarding the possible MU & redemption track. I mentioned in my previous post that should Khushi share all her plans with NK, she will be saved or she is going to be in BIG trouble with capital T...
Today we saw that NK was on the plan, so Khushi did share her moves with him.
Now the question is will there be another MU and is redemption track needed?
Redemption track is needed. But not only for Arnav. It's also needed for Khushi.
How?
Arnav:
1. Arnav needs a redemption track to make up for his lack of trust and ill behaviour. He needs to build up Khushi's dreams and give her all the love and happiness she deserves including woo her like a proper bride and give her the dream wedding she described in front of her friends. Khushi needs her proper place in his life in front of the entire society. Not hidden like an unwanted baggage.
2. Arnav never loved Khushi unconditionally. All his love is dependent on her being able to prove her innocence, her truth, and her actions. This is again is not true love. I am not saying that blind trust like Anjali is right. But you have to let the other person have his/her say and if you still have doubts, try to find out the truth yourself. It's not up to Khushi to prove herself anymore, now it's up to Arnav to verify her truth... Which he did not do. He just let her go crazy trying to prove herself right.
Khushi:
1. Khushi needs a redemption track to understand that by hiding the truth from every person and by telling partial lies, she has weakened her own trustworthiness. I am not saying that she needed to share everything with Arnav before marriage, but she needed to trust at least one person enough to share everything. If Arnav has trust issues and a tendency to jump to conclusion, Khushi has trust issues too and a tendency to handle everything on her own even things that are out of her control...
2. So far Khushi has shown unconditional love for Arnav (the vulnerable bleeding heart), but she never loved ASR (the ego, the shrewd brain)... In fact, a lot of time I felt, she fears the ASR side of Arnav's character... Which I believe is understandable as every hurt she endured was delivered by ASR. However, ASR is the only one who can deal with Shyam. Arnav will be crushed against Shyam. When you love someone, you love the good with the bad. You can't love just one side and try to avoid the rest. It's about accepting a person as a whole...
So yes, I think redemption track is required. But the question is how? We know that Khushi has already has forgiven Arnav, then how will this track start?
Well, there are two ways...
1. Arnav again misunderstands her (for a few moments) until NK reveals the plan and saves Khushi. But Khushi is heartbroken and leaves Arnav and redemption track begins. This is the most obvious way
2. Avni pointed out to me yesterday that to begin redemption track, MU is not required. How? This is how. When Shyam tries to trap Khushi, Arnav does not believe him because by now, he has seen Khushi's love for him. However, to distract & taunt him until help arrives, he reveals the truth about Khushi and his marriage.
I. Now here are some facts which Khushi is not aware of... Khushi thinks that her marriage is valid because Arnav has put sindoor (vermilion) and mangalsutra (the black beads necklace) on her in front of Devi Maiyya... But
a. There were no witnesses to that wedding (not even a priest)
b. No saat phere (7 rounds around holi fire) happened
c. No registry was signed to give this marriage a legal name because you need to put a notice and there is a waiting period for that and then you need two witnesses on each side in India.
So basically, what she thought was a sacred bond was a game... It was a live-in relationship which is a huge blow to a traditional conservative girl like Khushi.
She slept with him on the same bed without being uncomfortable; she was okay being in the same room when he walked around without shirt in his room... All of these were not wrong in her eyes, because she thought that they were married. Now she finds out that she was never married. That will be a betrayal she won't be able to take as in her eyes they have no relationship.
II. Khushi also does not know about Shyam and Arnav's confrontation after the terrace scene. If she would have had known, she would have never gone to Shyam to explain the truth to Arnav and make a deal with him about the papers in exchange of truth.
So another hurt she will have is that Arnav asked Shyam what the truth was but did not give her a chance to explain. So far, she thought that Arnav saw them on terrace and did not let anyone say the truth. But she does not know that the only person who did not get a chance to say her piece was her.
Because of all these facts, she will want to leave RM. So this is another way redemption track can start without having an additional MU...
Let me know what you think about our thoughts...
