This post is done on special request from Avni... It was her mastermind... Last night when we were chatting, she bribed me to write this post...

Everyone was discussing regarding the possible MU & redemption track. I mentioned in my previous post that should Khushi share all her plans with NK, she will be saved or she is going to be in BIG trouble with capital T...

My post: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/iss-pyaar-ko-kya-naam-doon/3034293/is-khushi-digging-her-own-grave-updated

Today we saw that NK was on the plan, so Khushi did share her moves with him.

Now the question is will there be another MU and is redemption track needed?

Redemption track is needed. But not only for Arnav. It's also needed for Khushi.

How?

Arnav:

1. Arnav needs a redemption track to make up for his lack of trust and ill behaviour. He needs to build up Khushi's dreams and give her all the love and happiness she deserves including woo her like a proper bride and give her the dream wedding she described in front of her friends. Khushi needs her proper place in his life in front of the entire society. Not hidden like an unwanted baggage.

2. Arnav never loved Khushi unconditionally. All his love is dependent on her being able to prove her innocence, her truth, and her actions. This is again is not true love. I am not saying that blind trust like Anjali is right. But you have to let the other person have his/her say and if you still have doubts, try to find out the truth yourself. It's not up to Khushi to prove herself anymore, now it's up to Arnav to verify her truth... Which he did not do. He just let her go crazy trying to prove herself right.

Khushi:

1. Khushi needs a redemption track to understand that by hiding the truth from every person and by telling partial lies, she has weakened her own trustworthiness. I am not saying that she needed to share everything with Arnav before marriage, but she needed to trust at least one person enough to share everything. If Arnav has trust issues and a tendency to jump to conclusion, Khushi has trust issues too and a tendency to handle everything on her own even things that are out of her control...

2. So far Khushi has shown unconditional love for Arnav (the vulnerable bleeding heart), but she never loved ASR (the ego, the shrewd brain)... In fact, a lot of time I felt, she fears the ASR side of Arnav's character... Which I believe is understandable as every hurt she endured was delivered by ASR. However, ASR is the only one who can deal with Shyam. Arnav will be crushed against Shyam. When you love someone, you love the good with the bad. You can't love just one side and try to avoid the rest. It's about accepting a person as a whole...

So yes, I think redemption track is required. But the question is how? We know that Khushi has already has forgiven Arnav, then how will this track start?

Well, there are two ways...

1. Arnav again misunderstands her (for a few moments) until NK reveals the plan and saves Khushi. But Khushi is heartbroken and leaves Arnav and redemption track begins. This is the most obvious way

2. Avni pointed out to me yesterday that to begin redemption track, MU is not required. How? This is how. When Shyam tries to trap Khushi, Arnav does not believe him because by now, he has seen Khushi's love for him. However, to distract & taunt him until help arrives, he reveals the truth about Khushi and his marriage.

I. Now here are some facts which Khushi is not aware of... Khushi thinks that her marriage is valid because Arnav has put sindoor (vermilion) and mangalsutra (the black beads necklace) on her in front of Devi Maiyya... But

a. There were no witnesses to that wedding (not even a priest)

b. No saat phere (7 rounds around holi fire) happened

c. No registry was signed to give this marriage a legal name because you need to put a notice and there is a waiting period for that and then you need two witnesses on each side in India.

So basically, what she thought was a sacred bond was a game... It was a live-in relationship which is a huge blow to a traditional conservative girl like Khushi.

She slept with him on the same bed without being uncomfortable; she was okay being in the same room when he walked around without shirt in his room... All of these were not wrong in her eyes, because she thought that they were married. Now she finds out that she was never married. That will be a betrayal she won't be able to take as in her eyes they have no relationship.

II. Khushi also does not know about Shyam and Arnav's confrontation after the terrace scene. If she would have had known, she would have never gone to Shyam to explain the truth to Arnav and make a deal with him about the papers in exchange of truth.

So another hurt she will have is that Arnav asked Shyam what the truth was but did not give her a chance to explain. So far, she thought that Arnav saw them on terrace and did not let anyone say the truth. But she does not know that the only person who did not get a chance to say her piece was her.

Because of all these facts, she will want to leave RM. So this is another way redemption track can start without having an additional MU...

Let me know what you think about our thoughts...

Glad t see u back tia and ur take on the episode... YAY indeed that NK is in on the whole plan and therefore... even the small MU that might arise due to shyam blaming khushi or Anjali seeing the 2 of them together and later connecting the wrong dots... will still be gone due to NK and Mamiji...

waiting to see how the CV's will unfold this mystery, how will Anji handle it and what are the fallouts!!!

First thanks Avni...gr8 job hehehhe

U can write ur ff, but dont ignore these daily posts...

Hmm...ur analysis is gr8...No one is perfect...Khuhsi has never lived for herself...first it was for her parents n then for his sister n now its for Arnav jee...So what she did was what the situation allowed her to do...she had no choice...N right now also she has no choice...she goes with the flow...the way the river takes her...n in that she doesnt care if she drowns or survives...sigh...

Shes selfless...loving extremely...n her loving is giving only...not receiving...Arnav cant accept or believe this kind of love...

Hope all goes well...im scared..but shes already broken, so how more can u break a person...u can just heal them...n i pray Arnav does that soon...

Perfectly said Tia! Man, I couldn't have explained it better!
I can't wait for the redemption track! Finally it'll put the 'true' in their true love - making their love fully sealed (oh wait, we still have the almost kiss and consummation to get through 😉).

And for the CVs I think they've realised that MU is not the way to go! But if they give us one more teeny tiny MU all I can say is MU, F U!

Agree with you on most of the points you have mentioned. Yes, I always felt Khushi needs an RT as well. This is not to break her already broken heart on a whole lot of issues but to show the growth of the character, realization of facts and learning in life!

We have seen ASR becoming more humane and caring, thats growth, it is not complete yet yes, but its a great progress neverthless. Same way Khushi has to realize what she/ Guptas have done is NOT right, and recently how she deceitfully made Arnav sign those docs, which is the root cause of his kidnapping and but for his back up Will, he would have been dead by now!
Lastly, after today's epi, separation coming from Anjali is pretty much a possibility. So Arnav may have choose between his Di and Khushi. There is no MU per se, but since he chose to leave her, Khushi will be heart broken, so he has to go through kind of RT to woo her back!
Great post!

tia ji - kya kar dia ji!!

ithna sara philosophy mera sar ghoom raha hai.

no, jokes aside. you make some very good points. to me some things stand out starkly - marking Arnav's insensitivity and Khushi's denseness.

1. In the hut, when AsR wants it, he wants it. it does not occur to him whether she is ready or wants it.its their frist time for heavens sake, you hug, you talk, you confess. (forget phone confession, thats not valid)

2. khushi is weaving a web of lies for herself. this is no way to rescue your husband. if Shyam is capable of hurting arnav, she needs all the help she can. she should talk everyone into confidence.

but yeh tho MU ka sawal hai. therefore ye tho hona hi tha.

ab lao popcorn and dekho maza.

I agree with Avni's analysis. Redemption without the MU.
The only thing that can get Khushi upset at this stage is her beliefs and culture have been hurt.
She feels marriage is a sacred bond if that is violated she will be really broken and thus starts the redemption.

i get what your saying. but this kidnapping seperation track has gone on for so long, in TV time Arnav is missing for over two weeks. i doubt it will make much sense emotionaly for Khushi to leave RM after getting Arnav back from the kidnappers. psychologicly she would not want to leave his side for a moment for fear of loosing him again. her fear of being apart from him will be much greater that any hurt she may feel to her ego.
besides they can still have a redemption track. " tum muje mafe be kero, But i'll never be able to forgive my self for hurting you" the CV's are really smart. they have already layed the ground work for Arnavs Redemption, with that line. for Arnav nothing was more important to him then saying sorry to Khushi for hitting her on the head. so imagine how far and to what extend he will go to to say sorry to khushi for not trusting her, for not giving her a chance to explain her side of the story. and not believing her when she did. and if Khushi really gets shot saving Arnav. then there will be no limit to what Arnav will do. to redeam himself.

Thanks to all for your opinion. I believe the redemption track is necessary because of a lot of reasons.

1. Khushi does not have a single romantic, happy memory with Arnav without a cloud of bad memory attached to it. Every good memory is followed by an extreme bad memory. She may forgive him and build new memories. But those scars stays in your subconscious mind.

2. Her one and only dream of a wedding with everyone's blessing is gone forever if no redemption track happens. If she forgives him outright and they forget the 6 month clause, she will never have a re-marriage and thus she will have nothing to show her kids and grandkids as happy memories. We have seen that pain when she was talking to her friends about her wedding.

3. What Arnav did and how he treated her the first few weeks of their marriage was abominable. I'm sorry to say, he will never know if Khushi forgave him because he conveniently got kidnapped (i.e. out of pity on his suffering) or she forgave him because she loved him too much.
The same way, Khushi will never know that Arnav loved her before their marriage and always loved her even when he claimed to hate her. She will feel his love was born only because he was kidnapped and he felt he was going to die...

Whether this track happens with MU or without. It is necessary for their future happy life for Arnav to set right every wrong he ever did to her. Otherwise, I feel, building trust will be impossible.
