Oh yeah saw this one... it was horrendous... Have you seen the Honour Killing aired by Panorama in UK? That was scary too...

I am glad that we are finally seeing some sensible programs on TV... I think society needs to be aware of such occurrences... Kudos to Aamir to have tackled such bold topics... the latest episode on the Medicare industry has rattled the nerves of some in the medical profession.. I mean all Aamir did was to expose the malpractices in the industry...
But now they are demanding an apology...

Lavanya 🤗

I think this probably not appropriate thread to get into discussion re SJ, but that programme and several other of his episodes are very poorly researched and the facts presented are very distorted to sensationalise issues. Raising social issues is important in India but that programme had lot of half baked facts esp the case of transplant, the case is still ongoing in the court and that man shown is a chronic complainer, there is lot lot more to the story than what was shown!! Transplants are tricky things and need to be done as matter of urgency other wise the organs go waste, and that was the reason for the hurried operation. There is a lot more to that story anyway!!

I watched the honor killing one and it has really disturbed me...I can handle abused women and discrimination but honor killing is something I never ever thought about...perhaps because I am not around it...I have brothers and they are protective but not to this crazy level where if you defy them they kill you...
THe show jaynie was talking about i watched it and they had swords and all and they kill with swords...that would bloody hurt...i know irony but dying by a gun shot wound is much better than being maimed by a sword

yeah I agree...it was mentioned that the case about transplant was sub-judice so not much could be said about the case .. yet medical consent is needed before surgery is done...

but there were a few doctors and lab technicians who shed light on how medicare works in India. I am reiterating what I saw and you are right there may be partial facts that have been presented in the case of transplant... but what about the Pharmacare drugs being available to the public? I think the Medical Association themselves agreed that much is to be done in that front... Well I guess Aamir's idea was to just scratch the surface and make it visible to the nation to show what is happening..

Hi Ouma 🤗 well she has said that for the moment she is still doing the role of Anjali.. currently discussion are on with PH & channel regarding her role.. I guess being an actor she is looking for some challenges, which is fair enough. So let's wait and watch the developments 😊

Yep unbelievable and unpardonable.. Panorama reveleased that there are around 2,100 honour killings in a year inUK ... this is approximately 2 a month.. That's horrible...

As Manju said we should not be discussing SJ or any other show on this thread so I shall refrain from commenting further

Hiya Shweta, 🤗 good policy... that's the best way to cope with uncertainty 😊 I too believe that there will not be another MU.. that will be harakiri for the show... So when our Arnie boy is back together they will thrash Shyam and his evil ways... hallelujah ... I am so looking forward for the redemption track... I would love to see Arnie wooing Khushi and making amends to rectify his past behaviour 😳
