I'm honestly still not over her leaving. IDK if anyone can fill in Anjali's shoes after the way she's done it. I'm praying this is a huge prank -.-

Aww. I liked her for her relationship as Arnav's sister. But, if she wants to quit, it's her decision and I respect it. Anyways, if she quits best of luck for her future endeavors :)

This news isnt shocking. Anyways, Best of luck to Daljeet, for all her future endeavors. its sad to know that, a talented actress like Daljeet was reduced to mere "chotey" and tears, when she and her character had ample space to grow and become one of the best parallel leads in Indian TV.

Ah Well!

The show must go on, and let the replacement make her way in.

its really sad tat DJ is leaving but happy for her tat she backed a more meaty role love to see her in lead roles, she is really good...
now i am all into guessing who will replace her and be as good as her...

IDK what they'll do, considering Daljeet is perfect as Anjali, and she's amazing. So sad she's leaving, but don't blame her. She's been stuck to the show for a year, and Anjali's not shown any kind of growth.

To those who're blaming her for thinking she'd be a lead, I'm sure when the title "Didi ki saut" was told to her, it implied she'd be a parallel lead atleast, and Anjali's character would be an important one. Whereas, in reality, they've not even bothered to give any of the side characters a story and it's hard to believe it's been one year and all of these people like Akshay, Daljeet, Deepali have been wasted. On top of that all Anjali's done so far is cry and do poojas and fasts.

I think the author meant that the show was meant to have Daljeet as the parallel lead BEFORE it went on air, but by the time it went on air, the main focus had shifted.

I remember reading articles about the show because KSG was one of the folks being considered for the main lead. I remember reading that the story was to revolve around the brother and sister, and their relationship and how it is impacted by their individual stories. So the character DJ is playing was supposed to be central, along with that being played by Arnav. With time, before they finalized Barun, Sanaya and Daljeet, I guess the story changed. Or possibly after seeing the public's response to Arnav-Khushi, the focus altered.

As for no one watching teh show if Daljeet was the main lead ... I'm sure she can be a main lead in ANY show and do great. She's got potential, she's pretty and a very elegant both on and off screen. So I'm sure many will watch her show if she's the main lead ...

Why wouldn't any actor want to be the main lead of the show???????

Regardless, I wish her luck. I'll miss her terribly on teh show. She brings in such elegance and character to Anjali, I don't know if it'll continue without her. And she's leaving at a crucial time ... when Shyam's truth is about to come out ... no wonder all the rumors about the show ending are rife. Eeek.

Well, hopefully she'll stay, but either way, best of luck to her. Maybe her hubby and her can be casted together as leads in another show ...
