And yeah the typo was cool LOL, I read it all fyn but frustating none-the-less. And yes 'm estatic that you aren't talking about BD's or disappointment.

Jokes aside, this post made my day! Never mind FF's, if the grammar and spelling isn't sound in a post, I find it very hard to take seriously. You can distinguish innocent spelling mistakes, which are pretty minor-hey! it happens, I probably make mistakes too, but you can spot glaringly obvious errors in other posts. I hate to sound condescending because English is my first language, but this is one pet peeve of mine. As Ouma says, I don't even write like that when typing texts, writing properly is what I prefer.

Still no one's perfect, hopefully time and experience will make people better writers, especially if their first language isn't English.

PS. I love your blog, I've been taken to recently stalking it often...your entry about your 'rain scene' was hilarious.

Gehri saas lo... In essence, I agree with what you're saying. I'm a grammar freak when it comes to writing, and if I see something typed like that it's an instant turn-off. No matter how amazing the story is I will not read it. If I make a typo in my writing I get incredibly frustrated, and I ensure that I use proper English when I write. I understand that some do not understand English or have issues with it, but when people write L1k' d!$, I just do not read their writing no matter how much I want to.

Now in the above stmt i ve used short forms. I think such short forms r acceptable. But when it comes 2 my stories i draw a strong line there. i never use short forms in my stories. only in my posts. i guess that much s'd b allowed!

Examples:

Lets eat Grandpa

as opposed to:

Let's eat, Grandpa.

Punctuation can save lives.

anyway me too fine with typos and grammatical errors cz well everyone's 1st language isn't english..i can bear it all for a good story..but hahaha not the type like u said!and i am not a miss perfect either i make many errors when i write my stuff n sometimes correct it ages later if i read it again by some chance..

i personally have turned off predictive text in my phone even as it gives me a huge headache! so well on IF when we have so much choice i'd always Ctrl+W whenever i get to a post like that!...

soomethings i never manage to overcome from the teen shorthand is 'i' instead if 'I' & 'cz' instead of 'because' as u can see😆.
