Hello everyone.. Yes, I was not in an idea to continue it any further but when my beloved readers asked me, I could not deny. After all, that is all a writer needs. Willing minds and encouragement. Thank you every one of you for your love and support. It means a lot to me. I still could not make up my mind to continue it as a FF but I'll make it a series of sequel which will be like a snap out of Arshi's life.

I recommend the new readers to go through these two before you read this one..

One fine day

Sequel to One fine day

Hope you all enjoy. 😳 Here you go!

~2nd sequel to One fine day~

Kushi finally decided on a white salwar with thin gold and bronze sequence for the dinner with Raizada family. Never in her dreams had Kushi thought that she would be joining her lecturer's family for dinner.

It was hard for her to accept with Anjali standing opposite and Arnav accompanying. She stood there with widened orbs and she kept looking at Arnav with a hesitated expression and a mind searching for some excuse.

'Kushi, please don't try to avoid. We wanted to thank you properly for everything', Arnav spoke in his husky voice that she never heard in his class. He'd speak in an authoritative and declaring manner which would make the scholars, who had actually derived the theory, go clueless.

She just nodded with a hard worked smile that resisted forming on her lips. She failed to count her heartbeat that raced.

'That's good. So, Saturday, Taj, at 7 pm', he causally announced to both of the ladies and walked away to his car after giving an intense nod to her as a 'bye'.

The nod spoke volumes as his mysterious eyes held her. Before she could even nod back or say a bye, he strode to his car with his hands shoved to his pocket which just increased his manliness.

She watched him in awe as Anjali kept her hand on Kushi's shoulder and waved bye. The Raizada's has showed up to invite her for a dinner to thanks Kushi for help.

Kushi breathed out the carbon di oxide she was holding since she saw Arnav at her doorstep. She rushed to her room and looked into the mirror to check if she looked decent. With a grey half sleeve cotton top and knee length blue jean skirt, she looked ok. She sighed in relief and quickly opened her wardrobe to check if she has any outfit to match the location.

She finally decided on the salwar after fighting an inner battle to choose from the lot. She hanged it back in the wardrobe and sat in her study table facing the window.

It's been more than three weeks since he came into his life and it has been two weeks almost since she got acquainted with him personally. Anjali and Bubbly came close so soon than she expected. They exchanged numbers, spoke to each other almost daily and even one day Kushi took both of them out to show the area around.

Kushi would call her after class, having thought that Arnav won't be at home and Anjali would call her anytime whenever she felt like talking to Kushi. Arnav who was aware of all the things going between her sister and student, was just secretly excited but kept a low profile not wanting to show any sort of emotion. If Anjali comes to know about any such signs of affections, she would be hard to control from taking things into her own hands.

Arnav was also aware that Kushi is trying to keep distance and that's why she makes her presence unknown to him. But little did she know that, Arnav knows that she's not avoiding him because she doesn't like him.

Arnav had noticed Kushi's performance academic wise. She was smart. Though she won't look up at him in the class, she'd pay more attention. He conducted a test few days ago and saw Kushi perform well. He also realised that very few students had listened to his tips that he let out in between his lessons and Kushi was one of them. By the looks of her answer sheet it seemed that she didn't give much effort to score marks but she was interested in learning. That attitude impressed Arnav.

As he had discussed earlier he tried to let things cool. Only incidents that stirs both of them is like when Bubbly, being naughty, dials Kushi's number and drops the phone into Arnav's lap. He'd say hello not knowing that it was her and Kushi would think that he had called and it would all end at a point of embarrassment. He unable to take Kushi off his mind would spend hours thinking about her and she'd be all confused to focus on anything else.

In fact the day when they both spent some time alone was one such memory. After she went to Arnav's house on Anjali's compulsion, Arnav offered to drop her.

The ride was silent until they reached the stores and Kushi was the one to break the ice.

' Wh, why are we here?' she asked facing Arnav.

'To get things that you dropped while your stunt', he flashed a smile that stunned Kushi. She sure was affected by his attitude.

He came around and opened the door for Kushi though she protested. 'Uh, it's not necessary, Sir. Mom just wanted to make jalebis for me and we can get it sometime later', she spoke so fast and Arnav heard the word Jalebi very clearly.

'So, jalebis?' he laughed. 'I know the ingredients. Which means I don't have to beg you to list them', she led her into the stores and picked things from the aisles on his own.

She stood there impatiently with a face that was in the verge of crying, seeing her own chemistry professor picking jalebis' ingredients for her. She kept biting her nails waiting for an end to stop all these shocking incidents from her life. She cursed herself for performing the stunt, for having this handsome guy as her teacher and more for her love with the jalebis.

Arnav wanted to pick something more for her when he turned around to find what she liked to eat other than jalebis. He saw her biting her nail with an impatient look and the rapid tap of her sandal on to the floor. He chuckled and when Kushi noticed him watching her, she stopped in a reflex and bit her tongue.

Arnav laughed and said, 'so, it seems like you love chocolates, don't you?'

'Yes, sir, but how do you know?' she instantly felt insecure. He seems to know every single detail about her. She even wondered if he'd know what she thinks about him. Her stomach churned as she furrowed her brow in worry.

'I guessed and you admitted', he shrugged casually and picked for her the expensive chocolate brands out of the shelves.

She again felt like a fool and smacked her forehead literally. She whined and followed him to the counter. But before she could even catch up with him, he had paid for her things and was ready with the bags to leave.

'Shall we move?' he asked her casually and they both got into the car.

Again silence filled and this time Arnav broke the ice.

'Thanks, Kushi' he whispered.

She felt herself shiver by the eruption of voice from the silence that had engulfed both. 'Please don't mention it, sir. Everyone could have done it.' It took so much effort for her to bring some sensible words. Besides, she was tired of the constant gratefulness. It just made her embarrass.

He let out a smile facing the road. 'It clearly shows how easy you took it. But if anything has happened to Bubbly, Anjali won't be alive now.' Arnav's smiling face turned into an expression of cold grave as Kushi gulped.

'Sir, it's a big word-'

'Anjali's husband passed away before Bubbly was born', he blurted cutting off Kushi in her mid-sentence.

Kushi froze in her seat and remembered Anjali's appearance. She figured that she wasn't having any signs of a married girl. Kushi felt moved for Bubbly. Poor little kid, she has to grow without a father. She understood how hard it would be. Because Kushi herself was a girl, who lost her father when she was little. She at least knew how her father would look but bubbly?

She turned her face towards the window and quickly swallowed from being teary. She closed her eyes to compose herself.

After a long pause Kushi spoke, 'I'm sorry, sir'.

'Don't be. In fact, I'm sorry for spoiling your mood. I didn't tell this to make you feel bad but to make sure you know how huge your favour is to Anjali. If she had lost her Bubbly too, then you won't see the Raizada family another time'.

His words taught how much love Arnav is holding towards his sister. Those sentences told her more about him and his family and his face had a peace that he never felt. He felt as if he had placed the weight off him.

But Kushi felt as if the weight was placed on her. It was heavy for her to bear. What made the most matured Arnav Singh Raizada open up to her student who is all trembling and shivering seeing him? She don't know what is the need for him to tell her how one would feel if the other one doesn't exists. He said she cannot see the Raizada family again which means he won't be alive too. But what is the necessity to tell her all this? Instead, he could have said they would be worried.

She consoled herself that she's reading too much into the matter. Arnav is just telling her how hard it would be for them just to make her realise the help she did but what she was thinking now? Kushi mentally kicked herself.

Nobody felt the need to speak again until they reached her home. He dropped her off and handed her the bags. She thanked him and he asked him to take care of her, pointing to the injury and sped off.

The whole incident replayed in Kushi's mind as she reminisced every single second with him. She sighed and wondered where all these are leading to. She was also worried about how she is going to carry herself during the dinner without making anything stupid.

Kushi could also not ignore the fact regarding what her mates would think or say if they knew about the rapport she's developing with Arnav, her lecturer.

She leaned onto the chair more comfortably, placed her head sidewise and closed her eyes to release herself from the disturbance of mind. She was tired of identifying the emotions which were rippling inside her in an alarming rate.

Obviously the next sequel would be their dinner and I'm trying to come up with an incident which would bring both to a realisation of their feelings. I hope I'll meet up with your expectations. 😳 My university practicals are very close and I'll try to control my fingers from tying anything. 😆

This is my Index and I wish everyone visit it for my other works.. 😳

Add me for further PMs. I recently realised that sending out PMs are the most tiring process! 😊

Love,

Nafee 😳
