Dear Mr. Hedge,
Now sitting here writing this I'm wondering whether to be annoying and scathing at your implication that we 'fanatic' viewers have nothing better to do, or whether I should practice what I am about to preach and take it with a grain of salt.
For now, since I actually have enjoyed your work – I'll choose the latter.
Allow me to tell you something Mr. Hedge, IPK has probably the most diverse and dare I say intelligent viewer panels – no I'm serious – we have doctors, lawyers, scientists even! And in a way this is where you face your logical fallacies issue, you mess up a diabetes scene and we have half a dozen posts on how the disease actually works and why that couldn't happen.
And none of them are out of hate; it's of a sense of association the med student or doctor who know the actual deal get a little touchy over the fact that what to them is simple knowledge and could have been cleared with a simple google search is misrepresented – trust me it gets to you. Such as the validity of the initialed will papers (law student).
Take away the good GH – you're work has been amazing enough to have people who I assure you have much 'better' things to do take the time out - because to us IPKKND matters.
Now as for the 'CV bashing'. Okay, look the thing is Mr. Hedge that speaking from a psychological point of view you need to understand that this is a cyber medium – wth does that have to do with anything you may ask – Allow me to explain.
Have you noticed that some of the posts are amazing constructive criticism, some scathing sarcasm and some just plain childish tantrums? Now think back – who build up your audience – kids, teens, adults?
Your audience, sir, is a mix.
Which is very difficult to deal with, because the kiddies on the forum will try to compete with the bland wit by being as mean as they can, taking that as sarcasm, or with foot stomping tantrums. There are people who will create posts to stir up trouble – why- because the internet gives you an invisibility cloak that lets you do that and not have to face the consequences. Hence Mr. Hedge the cyber medium must always be taken with a grain of real world salt.
I once wrote a Fanfiction based off IPK which suggested that the reason Manorma Mami behaved so condescendingly to Payal was because she suffered from and inferiority complex turned superiority complex and got told off for daring to suggest the woman was human. Big deal! At the end of the day as someone who has been a part of the print media for almost four years now, let me give you a bit of advice - be true to your storyline and your readers will follow.
Now, coming to your point about the rest of the team. I think, Sir, that there is another way to look at this it is not that we don't logically know there is a team there – it is that your presentation of each segment has been so mind-numbingly beautiful that we see ArHi not SaRun and when we see ArHi there is no team, because a team would imply fiction which to us it then isn't. Every time we overlook you in a scene is one more time that you have wrapped our minds around the scene to the point where we are not thinking logically.
So congratulations, as a creative I know there is nothing better you could ask for.
Much Love,
A proud fan.
