Now, I had my heart in my throat too when Khushi was having the conversation with NK.. wondering who was listening to the exchange, dreading if it was Shyam himself! Khushi should have taken more care!
But I can completely understand why she trusted NK and blurted out the truth to him.. because that is how Khushi is.. gullible and trusting and NK has never really given her any reason to not trust him! And then, Khushi really dint have much choice! She could not explain why she was in Shyam's room shouting supposedly at Shyamu and accusing him of kidnapping Arnav!! NK was persistent with his questions!! Although, I do agree she should have taken Payal and Akash into confidence quite a while ago!

Khushi never explained to Arnav or gave him any details about Shyam, yes.. but not because she dint trust him Lovely.. I think it was more because she feared his reaction, she did not want to hurt him.. She remembered and witnessed every time what Anjali and her happiness meant to him! The other reason was she wasnt sure if Arnav would trust her.. he never gave her any strong reason for her to believe that he would trust her with such a revelation!! And another reason again was that till a few days ago, she really believed that Shyam will regret his mistakes and either in fear or in repentance would go back to Anjali!! She was willing to give him a second chance to keep Anjali happy and to save the family from hurt and tears!! We must not forget Arnav did the same too upon knowing the truth! They have both been very wrong undoubtedly.. but then Khushi did not expect Shyamu to stoop down to such levels!! Such things dont happen in her world!!

Phew! Please excuse my yapping Lovely.. 😆 I am just a little biased towards Khushi..!

Loving the lyrics as ever.. you always bring to us the old melodies.. reminding us time and again.. old is definitely gold!! 😳

(First Love, For The Very First Time!)

Keeper of Secrets!

Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -

Just when Khushi thought that she caught Shyam red handed... it was NK who received Khushi's wrath... only to become the keeper of secrets now shared by Khushi with him.. in confidence...

Today saw many different colors.. today saw the return of pooja nad hawan at RM... Today saw Anjali's first bold step of contradicting her worshiped husband... today saw unraveling of another one of Khushi's plans...

Creepwa Shyam wonders which one of the kurtas NK kept. Shyam's eyes spot NK's sneakers in his closet in place of his own shoes..when he goes to place the stack of kurtas in the closet. Just then a knock on the door attracts his attention - it's NK at the door. NK tells Shyam that his date got cancelled. Shyam shows his generosity by asking NK to keep his borrowed kurta. NK thanks him and apologizes for taking his shoes without asking for permission. NK goes to place the shoes back in the closet when he brings it to Shyam and asks, "Jijoo... what is this stain..this red one.. where did it come form.. " as NK keeps pressing the question, Shyam's face changes many shades of frustration...to anger.. to disgust..pretense... He tries to calm NK down by saying that it is a shoe and somewhere it must have gotten stained. NK offers to clean the stain but Shyam practically snatches the shoe from NK.. Shocked NK..at this intense reaction to such a simple question... looks at Khushi hiding outside by the door. Shrewd Shyam regains his control quickly and assures NK that he will get the stain cleaned and the shoe polished.. NK thanks him and leaves the room. As soon as NK walks out, Shyam closes the door. Khushi and NK spy through the door.. watch Shyam cleaning the blood stain off the shoe. NK agrees that now he believes Khushi.

Later..that night... NK and Khushi talk in her room. Khushi says, "Now tell me Nanhe ji! How can I tell anyone at home under these circumstances? How should I face the situation. and handle it?" "So, no one at home knows about this? ' Nanhe asks. "No, no one except Mami ji.. She has helped me tremendously in the search of Arnav ji .. but she knows nothing about the dirty tricks of Shyam ji. How can I say all of this to Mamiji?" NK tries to talk some sense in Khushi, "Khushi ji, do you really think that you will say stuff and Jijoo will just accept it all? Just think Khushi ji, what could have happened if it indeed were Jijoo instead of me when you said all that!" Khushi aggravated almost screams, 'I do not know what's right or wrong.. I did what I felt was right!... My mind is just not working!.. It's about Arnav ji.. and I.."

Oh, come on Khushi! You did not have to hesitate saying that you loved Arnav in front of NK, after all, you married Arnav- that's all NK knows..! It would only sound natural. And really, NK, thank you for saying what I have been saying! And Khushi, acting impulsively only can hurt Arnav, so, I am sorry but I cannot justify that action in the name of love..If you are so concerned about Arnav.. his safety should be your number one priority..If You found Arnav's blood on Shyam's shoe, that should raise sincere concern about Arnav's safety and Shyam's deception in your mind.. it is not about you and your acting impulsively just because you are so distracted in love.. no, get a grip! Make that love your strength, not weakness!

Just then Nani ji walks in.. looks at their worried faces and ask what the matter is. Nanhe tells in his funny Hindi that they are just talking.. Nani reminds them that they have to get up early next day for the Pooja that Anjali has arranged for.. in prayers for protection of everyone... Arnav being on the top of the list!.. Nani leaves. NK asks Khushi to relax.. promises her that now he is with her to help figure it all out. and that pretty soon they will free Arnav! He tells Khushi that now they must keep a close eye on Shyam and his activities..

I spy and a beautiful surprise Moment: Khushi and Nanhe spy on Shyam.. Shyam is working out of a briefcase! As soon as Anjali comes out of the bathroom, Shyam quickly closes it and locks it. He jumps to his feet in response to Anajli's, "Where are you going with the briefcase?" He says, "I am going to the court.. for a case - did I not tell you?" Anjali walks closer to Shyam and says, "No, you did not.. because, it is not true! You are lying to me!" Anjali looks into Shyam's eyes with a challenging gaze.. Shyam swallows hard.. he is stunned at Anjali's new avtaar..Anjali continues, "You are not going to the court but.. to S. K. Travels!... But, why?" Anjali asks calmly to a stunned Shyam! Anjali looks at Shyam with vulnerable eyes.. Shrewd Shyam quickly collects his thoughts and brings a smile to his own face and says, 'Oh, sorry! Sorry, Rani Sahiba!.. Due to my work.." Anjali cuts him off and says, 'It's alright! SK travels had called on land line. .. your phone was unreachable.. Why are you going to SK travels?" Shrewd Shyam says with as smile, 'Oh, I thought that... before our baby comes.. just the two of us should go away.. on a vacation..Let us see.. " Anjali's heart jumps with joy.. "Really? You care so much about me..But for now, let us go and sit in the pooja.. It's for everyone's well being and protection in the family, especially for the baby... You can go to SK travels later.." She does not allow Shyam to come up with excuses..Shyam agrees to participate in the pooja for her sake. I loved it when Anjali showed courage to dispute Shyam and told him that he was lying! No one has had the kind of impact on Shyam with longer warnings than what Anjali achieved in her couple of lines! I simply loved the fact that she could floor Shyam with a simple challenge in her words! Love you, Anjali. They both make a very different couple, special couple!

Nanhe and Khushi chalk out a plan of what to do next. It is determined that NK will go in and check out the briefcase - he is to enter the room at a fast pace as soon as Shyam leaves for the pooja...then Nanhe can check out the papers and the laptop. Khushi goes ahead.

Once again, Shantivan.. sparkles with beautiful decorations of flowers...and brightness fills the surrounding with hope and happiness.. everyone ready for the pooja.. Mami sits on the couch nursing her sprained ankle... When she spots Khushi descend the stairs, she disperses everyone and calls upon Khushi.., "Just because my ankle is hurt does not mean that you should ignore me! What's the latest on the kidnappers?.. " Khushi tells Mami ji to take it easy.. says that she will take care of everything...Mami says, "Just because of the sprained ankle you should not write me off!" Khushi then informs her that now Nanhe is there to help her.. because she told him about it! Mami surprised, asks why Khushi told him.. Khushi says that when he guessed and asked, she could not lie! Mami says that anyway now her ankle is hurt so Khushi and Nk should carry on but keep her informed and up to date all the time. They head to the pooja.. Oh, they had my heart up in my throat again! It seems that RM has become a weird place.. Khushi and NK can spy on Anjali's room without being noticed.. Mami and Khushi talk about kidnapper and secrets in the middle of the living room! None of them whispers.. they all talk loudly without being heard by a third party!

In the middle of pooja and hawan.. Khushi apologizes to Devi Maiyya.. for she will be breaking in the middle of pooja and homa..She asks NK what he found in the briefcase..NK says that he had to leave abruptly as HP showed up! Initially he says in his broken Hindi that HP passed away instead of passed by! He also informs her that the briefcase does not have a numbers lock as she told him but a lock with a key. Khushi says that she is going to check it out herself and if anyone asks about her then he is to tell them that she has gone to get offering. And thus the eldest daughter-in-law.. Arnav's wife.. leaves the pooja in the middle that has been kept to pray for his protection.. and well being!

Khushi turns Shyam's room upside down looking for the key to the briefcase.. without any success.. she gets caught by Payal while she looks under the bed.. But Payal, unknowingly answers her own query as to what Khushi is doing in that room..by saying that she must be looking for her missing earring... an excuse Khushi utilizes to her benefit. Payal leaves and Khushi goes on to wear her earring when her eye spots a key under the carpet! Khushi prays to Devi Maiyya and thanks her!

Now even Nk has become the bearer of secrets... Khushi and Mami already have secrets.. some shared and some unshared.. Nani so far,, has no new secrets that affect anyone's life at present with adverse events..Shyam has his bag of secrets.. I have strong suspicion that now Anjali has some secrets that could disprupt Shyam's life.. she just is much better and stronger at keeping secrets. Arnav, not at RM at present but, has his own secrets.. Payal has the secret about Shyam as well! Aakash. unknown..


Anjali dared to stop and confront Shyam.. with tremendously powerful effect! You go girl.. just be careful! Do I see a new Anjali emerging?
