(First Love, For The Very First Time!)

I Cannot Handle So Many Tears!

Arnav and Khushi - Khushi and Arnav -

Just when Arnav and Khushi found each other finally, as destiny would have it, they were separated again.. Khushi left in tears.. with Arnav held captive again by the kidnappers..

Today saw most unusual side of Manorama Mami.. most unusual bond being formed between Khushi and Mami.. just like Arnav and Mami... with Khushi finally gaining an outlet for her suppressed grief..and a shoulder to cry on..

After desperately looking around for Arnav, Khushi returns to the shelter. She comes back and sits down.. her eyes spot the pot Arnav had brought her fireflies in the night before.. her eyes well up.. her tears trickle down as she says, "You surrendered just to save me... Why, Arnav ji?" She bursts in tears... soon she controls herself, wipes off her tears and decides, "I will bring you back!.. Wherever I have to search for you.. how much ever I have to search for you..!" She thinks afterwards.. 'may be I should go where he was kept initially!'

At RM, Manorama Mami goes crazy making repeated calls to Khushi.. worries a lot and says to self, "Why is 'Phati saree's phone out of reach all this time?... She is at her parents... why am I so worried?.. She will be back!" Worried sick, Mami utters to herself, 'But.. discipline is also something.. Can she not make one phone call?" Worried, Manorama dials Buaji's phone number. Buaji comes running to answer the phone. Buaji and Mamiji have the most fun exchange of words! Buaji says, "I was just remembering you!" Mami surprised asks, 'Why? Why did you have to bring my memories alive?" Buaji, without any hesitation answers, "I am merely saying it because I am well mannered!.. why should I be lying..I actually miss Payal and my Sankadevi..Khushi!" Mami says, "That's right.." Buaji interrupts her and says, "Can I talk to her...?" "What?" shocked Mami says.."Talk to whom?" "Oh, my Sanka Devi.. my Khushi..darling!" Buaji says.. Mami now wide eyed. completely shocked... instead of finding Khushi at Buaji's, Mami finds out that Buaji is actually looking to talk to Khushi... Mami is stunned, then she startles as a hand comes to rest on her shoulder! As she turns around, it is Anjali! "Mami, did you talk to Khushi?" she asks. Mami bluffs, "Khushi is in the wash room.. she is washing her hands..." Buaji hears it on the other end and says, "I can wait.. it should not take too long to wash her hands.." Mami conducts two conversations in one...With Buaji and Anjali at the same time..says, "Well, she is also fetching water!" Buaji shocked! Wonders how come Shantivan has the same problem of water shortage as they do! Mami then covers the mouthpiece and tells Anjali that she will ask Khushi to call back... Then she asks her to go ahead and get ready for Puja and says that she will join her soon. Anjali takes her leave, 'OK, but please ask her to call back!" Worried sick, Mami cuts the phone off even though Buaji is still talking.. Bauji gets upset but Mami has bigger worry to care about. Her heart of gold behind the sharp tongue reflects when she worries about Khuhsi, "If Phati saree.. aka ..Khushi is not with her parents then where could she be? ... And .. is she alright?"

Khushi goes back to the place where she originally found Arnav.. there is no one there anymore... but she finds her phone.. battery dead by now.. Then she thinks of going to the police.. soon remembers that she told Mami that she will be with her parents.. and if anyone finds out that she is not there, they will be worried.. Khushi decides to return home first.

Mami at RM.. in Shantivan.. going crazy worrying about Khushi... 'Where has this phati saree vanished?.. Shall I call police?... But then..I will have to tell them everything.. About Arnav.. myself as detective..let it be!... Seems to me that I should tell all the members of the family." Mami keeps thinking very appropriately, "Shall I wait a bit longer for Khushi... but then what if Arnav and Khushi both are in danger? Hello..Hi..Bye Bye!"

Most Hilarious Moment: Everyone at the breakfast table.. Mami climbs down the stairs. still worried sick about Khushi.. keeps trying her phone non-stop... says, "It's limit now.. it is almost 24 hours since Khushi is gone..Now even I am scared!" Mami finally admits it. That was so cute... Mami is a good hearted person.. since Khushi confided in her Arnav's secret, she has been a support to Khushi. She is also worried about Khushi to this extent- is heart warming to see. She decides that she must go and tell all the family members even though she herself is scared. She approaches the table.. dismisses her brother's silly remark and seriously addresses, "Attention, please!.. I want to say something..." Everyone around the table looks at her.. Nani says, "What's the matter, Manorama? Are you going to your parents?" With a very serious face Mami answers in a serious voice, "Sasuma! Be serious at least this time! It is not a joke!" I burst out laughing! Replayed the whole scene many times.. I can't stop laughing! That's the amazing thing..

Surprise Precious Moment:Mami continues, "Anjali..dear...I called Khushi's parents.." then she abruptly stops as the door bell rings..Nani asks her to continue.."When I called ..I found out.." "Mami ji!" a voice comes on the air waves, Mami reflexly throws her hand in the air and says, "Do not interrupt, please!" and then continues.. Nani says, "Khushi Bitiya!" Mami goes, "You stole my words! That's what I am saying... Khushi .." "Mami ji!" Khushi's voice comes.. Mami almost freezes in the moment...then she turns around to find Khushi standing in front of her! She looks at Khushi top to bottom... Then she rushes to her, "Thank God! You are back! Are you alright?" she asks worried sick. Everyone surprised at Mami's gesture. Nani asks, "Manorama, why did you think that Khushi may not be alright?" Then everyone notices the dirt on her clothes. Payal asks what happened to her clothes. Khushi just dismisses the question by saying it is nothing and that she is alright.

Khushi addresses everyone, "I want to tell something to all of you!" Mami joins in, "That's what I wanted to say too.. I have something to say too. . Khushi goes, "When I went out last night... ... ... In fact, Arnav ji.." Phone rings.. Anjali gets worried, "Chhotey...what?" Hp answers the phone and tells Khushi that it is for her.."In the meantime Anjali bombards questions on Khushi.. "Chhotey... what? Please tell me.. " Khushi excuses herself to answer the phone.. It is the kidnapper on the Phone, warns her that Arnav will only stay alive if she keeps her mouth shut! Khushi is stunned! Anjali asks her who it was on the phone.. Khushi cannot answer a single question.

Shyam, the creepwa, comes down the stairs and asks, "Khushi ji, what's the matter?" Anjali screams like a paranoid, "Please tell me! Tell me something.. I am so worried about Chhotey!" Looking at her worry, Khushi lies, "Di, Arnav ji called yesterday!" Anjali feels relived.. she bombards Khushi with so many questions... without giving her a chance to answer..Khushi assures her that he is alright and takes his medications on time.. etc etc.. Shyam interrupts her, "If you keep asking like this...how will she answer your questions.." Khushi says, "Di, he is alright! He will be back once his deal is finalized!" Shyam energetically says, "There you go!" Khushi then excuses herself to go and get changed, but Nani asks her, 'What happened to you? How come your clothes are dirty?" Khushi hesitates... Mami comes to her rescue, "Did you fall down? You.. always stumble upon things.. anyways.." Khushi looks at Mami with grateful eyes and replies that she fell down on her way back home. Anjali says that she will be right back with first aid box. Khushi says that she is alright, only her clothes are dirty.. Anjali asks her to get changed and come back for breakfast. Khushi lies that she had breakfast at Buaji's, then she leaves. Nani asks Mami, "Manorama, you said you called Khushi's parents.." Mami says, "That... Oh, yes, they still have the water shortage problem! Did you not see what condition Khushi has been in on her return!" and then she smiles sheepishly. Shyam closely observes her.

Most Unexpected Precious Moment: Khushi in her room.. wonders if she should go to police or go to the detectives, just then there is a knock on her door. It's Mami. She walks in with style and asks, "Phati saree.. what's going on? What are you hiding from me? I know that you have been lying!" Then Mami reveals in a soft voice, "You did not go to your parent's last night!.. I was about to reveal the truth to everyone when you came and lied to me!... You are hiding from me... You are hiding something from me, your investigating partner?" Khushis's eyes well up.. Mami says, "Not fair!" Khushi just runs and hugs Mami.. Mami surprised... "Hello Hi Bye Bye!" Khushi cries and says to Mami .. her hug still tight.. "We cannot do anything.. we cannot say anything to anyone.." Mami once again, shows her heart of gold.. instead of yelling or screaming at Khushi, she gently says, "Ok..Ok..relax!.. No more tears, please!" She wipes off Khushi's tears and says, "I cannot handle so many tears!" Then she excuses herself and closes the door to the room. Manorama is so smart and has presence of mind! She comes back.. sits Khushi on the bed and sits down with her.

Then she asks her, "Ok, now tell me .. where were you yesterday?.. And did you talk to Arnav at all?" Khushi finally reveals in a heavy voice, "Mami ji, I met with Arnav ji last night!" Mami is stunned at the revelation.. "What?... Where?... How?.. Where is Arnav? Why did he not come here with you?" Khushi narrates the whole incident from how she spotted the guy with tattoo and how she followed him.. how she found Arnav.. how they escaped... till the events of last night.. how Arnav hurt her to surrender to the kidnappers.. Khushi finally bursts out in tears, "He surrendered to save me.." Mami immediately jumps to her feet... says, "Let us go and tell everyone! Let us also tell police!" Khushi says, "No, we cannot do anything!.. The guy on the phone earlier at the breakfast table warned me that if I say anything they will kill him..Now tell me how can we say anything to anyone?... But.. we must do something... what can we do now? I do not know what to do!" Khushi holds Mami's hand and says, "I cannot lose Arnav ji under any circumstances.. I want him back here with me, safe and sound!" Mami looks her in the eye and says in a determined voice, "We will bring Arnav back home!.. definitely.." she consoles Khushi.."But.. this is not the time to keep crying.. take care of yourself!" Mami says very aptly. Khushi keeps crying and says, 'I should not have let him go! He made me unconscious to save me.. I should have done something! May be I should have hit him too.." Mami consoles her in a very soft voice, "Don't worry dear!.. You at least tried... Now we will try together.. the two of us..We will be successful.. Manorama Detective..

is with you.. Ok? Now Let us say Hello Hi to Arnav and Bye bye to the kidnappers... Ok?" Mami says..
