Love your analysis of the episode hun.. Yes.. ASR is back! The sharp, alert, calculative, clever one!! Your title made me think of these words..

Vriksh ho bhale khade
ho ghane ho bade,
Ek patra chhah bhi..
Maang mat, Maang mat, Maang mat,
Agnipath, Agnipath, Agnipath..

I agree with your point that Khushi has been shown as trusting Shyam too easily.. But I must say thats what they want to portray.. That she is a gullible girl..! She doesnt know the cruel ways of the world yet!! Her experience with Shyam has at the most, made her cautious..! Thats why, she dint reveal to him what she had actually come after him for..! She knows he is capable of evil and thus doesnt let him know that she suspects him, in case, she alerts him!
Its always shown later that when she sits and thinks about it, she dismisses Shyam's explanations! There is a reason she doesnt trust him!! And never will! As for Shyam, he knows how to play with them all! His biggest advantage is he knows Khushi too well! He knows exactly which buttons to push to make her believe him, just as he does with Anjali! Given his glib sliminess, Khushi maintains her own is a credit to her!

Anjali.. as you rightly said, is the know all do all here!! This character inspite of being calm and serene and never really in the foreground, has managed to intrigue us all!! I am really waiting to see how her character unfolds in the future!!
