i feel like a creep liking everyone's comments on this post, but i cant help it cause YOU'RE ALL RIGHT! I agree 100% with you all. From the storyline to the clothes, everything has been going downhill. Someone mentioned that we as viewers have seen Geet. Isn't the production house for ipkknd the same as Geet? In Geet we saw fantastic clothing and sets, why not for ipkknd!?! It's really irritating how the PH and CVs think viewers will accept anything they show us, no matter how nonsensical it is. they are skipping over so many important things that can become significant if brought to light. for example, babuji's illness. it's been like 8 months or so, there should be some progress with his health shown, maybe him being able to speak will clear arnav's doubts. payal and akash can be shown as a strong parallel couple, but no, they are reduced to limited screen time, and whatever screen time they DO have, is spent on nonsense like bubbly. speaking of bubbly, what is up with her?!?! if she was shown as a child that is simply too attached to akash, that's understandable. but here bubbly is shown as a creepy lover-ish type of kid, she's a freakin parallel to shyam for goodness sakes!!!! and i dont know if the CVs know this, but...payal has a brain and a mouth!! remember when arnav brought an unconscious khushi from the guesthouse, payal had yelled at arnav so much!!!!! and she had such strong dialogues, that it actually made arnav reflect on his actions and feel bad. Payal freakin knows the truth about shyam, the least she could do is help defend khushi against him. she could even confide this truth to akash, and he would believe her, and this trust would make an excellent parallel to khushi and arnav.
and please...dont even get me started on clothing and hair!!!!! anjali has a new saree on each day! i have never seen both shyam and anjali repeat their clothes. and here both the leads are wearing the same stuff over and over and OVER!!!!!! it's annoying! where did all the shirts go that arnav wore from june - november? im pretty sure they still fit!!! and someone previously ranted about khushi's anarkalis - i totally agree with you. some of those suits on someone as slim as sanaya dont look right. i actually want sanaya to be wearing sarees since she's married. the first couple of days after her marriage, she wore the yellow saree and the red/pink one, and she looked so mature and it made her dialogues seem more intense. and her hair/wig...dear lord! if you look back at the holi episode, you cant really tell she's wearing a wig, and she looked beautiful. the poof in her hair due to the current wig looks blaahhh.
the only reason im still interested in the show is because i like barun, sanaya, and daljeet. if it were other actors, i wouldn't even be visiting the forum for the show.
and here my rant ends. im glad im not the only one frustrated with the way things are going in my favorite show.
