I felt the difference in the two interviews as well...but will give him the benefit of doubt coz he said he was at his movie shoot...so probably that's the reason he could not sound excited for IPKKND

He is excited for his movie...he did say in his TOI interview he is not that grounded a person, he is excited with all that's happening around him...but honestly hope/pray he does not get pompous with the success and is same Barun when he is back with IPKKND...

One things he has been saying for over a month in his interviews - he finds daily soaps stressful he prefers weekly...this is normal with any normal person when you move up the ladder you have a choice...he has created that for himself after 4 years of hard work with dailys

Barun's life is not all about IPKKND. He has always promoted the show and his character, and been loyal to it and still is, but he is doing a movie as of now and was on the sets for it as well, he is taking a step in his career and he can't be negligent towards that as well. Besides I guess he wasn't there to promote IPK, the interview was to clear airs and put light on his movie, and he did just that.

To me it looks like he wants to taste Bollywood that's it without considering other things related to the movie. anyway his choice. I like Asr the character its better he comes back otherwise these days replications sometimes become successful + IPKKND is overall good package having mami shayam khushi so no issue. viewers like me vl get adjusted by his absence.

yes, he does need some PR training...sure, his shyness and attitude makes him seem cute but it can be quite harmful in a professional's life...and no, I am not a Barun hater...I would have said the same thing for any other actor/actress if needed..

@bold... He desperately needs IPK and IPK desperately needs him. ASR is a legendary role. Barun is a fantastic actor... hands down brilliant. But he is a fool to antagonize IPK fans, walk away from a hit show and jeopardize it for a month. 11 days is fine, 40 is too much.

Wow - so many replies to my post! :-) I respect all the views as we all are entitled to our own views. But one thing we have common in all of us - we all are huge Barun/ASR fans.
