I think he will say that as his first response and then believe her. They are wearing the same dress as in today's episode, so it can't be after the kidnapping.

BTW, someone went to a mall where outdoor shooting was going on for the airport scene. Seems like Barun is still in town. So that SBS news was probably not true.

I concur. After reading the post, I went back and heart his dialogues again and he did say all that.
