For your lines above, I have always felt that Arnav and Khushi's characteristics reflect those of twin flames. Let me share some brief thoughts with you.

It is believed that when the soul emerges from the divine source to individuate itself, it may sometimes choose to split itself into two - male and female counterparts and take many births to experience life's challenges on their own before uniting again in their last birth. They are known as twin flames. (this is different from soul mates - you can have many soul mates but you have only one twin flame in the universe).
