i hope for all our sakes this is true .. as the director is the captian at the helm of the show .. the man who pulls everything and everyone together .. he is the one who controls the actors and their emoting, the plot, the editing -- everything! He is the one who takes the script and puts it into visuals for us ...
Much as I am shocked at some of the flippant comments here saying 'HE IS JUST A DIRECTOR'!!! i do believe that he is THE director. And the proof is there for all to see ...He is the one who has brought out the best of emotions in Barun and Sanaya ' the intensity, passion, love and hatred that has been there till the holi sequence has all been a credit to him. From what we hear, he is a director who is a 'thinking' one, who gets involved in the complete episode ' be it the photography, the plot, the editing. We have even see pictures of him holding Barun's hand and showing him exactly what to do on the sets.He is the one who made us feel Khushi's angst and Arnav's controlled passion ... we cried for her after the diwali sequence ... we cried with him after he saw that god awful hug and broke down by his car! Where exactly are those characters now, might I ask??It is quite plain to see that till holi there was intensity, passion and magic between our characters ... He left the serial on Friday of the holi week after which this new kid took over and we were rewarded suddenly by ridiculous stuff like the swami track and the more recent kundili track. Our leads, who could sizzle the screen by just looking at each other across a crowded room (ref jaadu sequence) now do gymnastics when they are put on the same bed and only succeed in getting on most of our nerves. There are a million examples that can be given here to point out the difference in direction but the latest one can be the falling from the ladder sequence. One does not even have to say anything. Please youtube the falling in rangoli sequence that LM directed and then watch the falling from ladder sequence that AK has directed...I rest my case!
