Where is your integrity? You are going and fighting for Lavaya's rights for chance in engagement date, fighting for the sangeeth with your "mouna Firath", gate crashing a party where you were not invited -
Why she did not fight for Anjali? The apex structure of your will pyramid featured "anjali and her child" - it is not your duty to inform Anjali about her husband. it is a moral responsibility.
For me that character lacked substance - Today you are on the stage of commiting suicide - no one lead you there - it is the path you choose for yourself.
I did not mean to hurt anyone - it is just thought sharing.
always loved your views

Hey Vimmiya, glad to hear your views - was waiting for someone to offer some different views to mine! 😃

Those are good questions you've set, that I haven't even thought about yet... I totally agree that she should have told someone in RM about Shyam cheating on Anjali. A serious issue likes this needs to be made known, or I don't know if this is the CV's way to teach people that if you hide such issues you'll only get into bigger messes. 😕

All I can say is that I'm glad that they've shown Khushi as a flawed character. By not telling anyone about Shyam they have shown that Khushi is not a Saint - she has made a mistake by not confiding in anyone, and now almost everyone is going to get hurt because of her action, or rather inaction.

And, I never brought her age as an excuse. I certainly do not endorse the idea that Khushi's age = immaturity. Age has nothing to do with maturity. Some people are immature even in adulthood.

Love hearing your views, and am yet to read your post! A bit busy today, so haven't read anyone's posts till now.

That is what I say - it is not easy to decipher what Khushi feels! Trust me if Redux was not there na - I would have been going round and round thinking what is wrong with this girl!? I really do not like it when they mess up Khushi's character to bring that change and movement in the story. It irritates me to hell.

And the writers do not realize that the sypathy Has shifted from Khushi to Arnav. With Arnav Barun portrays it so well that you can feel the pain whatsoever - but with Khushi no feeling is understood. I know Khushi is damaged from inside because of all this - but we need to be shown that!! Frankly with the way her character has been shown - the marriage should have been the biggest blow and sent her off to depression then and there. But no - they turned into such a way that Khushi is presumed to be the 'mad' girl and Arnav the 'hurt' boy. Sympathy for Khushi needs to be generated asap!

Good chatting with you :)

This is the first time I've had an 'actual discussion' on Redux! 😃 It is so nice to see that each of us exchange our different views and yet do not invade each other's territory. I'm happy we don't demand that the other bow down to her views, or whack the person around verbally to show who has the better clout, and exchange fanciful names that the mods would look down on.. and now I'm rambling... 😆

It's always nice hearing your views Anna, and it drives me mad seeing so many people upset with Khushi's character - and when people like you (Redux family members) too show how disturbed you are, I swear, I feel like tearing my hair apart, no wait, tearing the CV's hair apart 😆 (mods, please don't chuck me out... I was joking about the CV's hair 😛 - i meant i would give them a hair-cut, Barun too...) 😉

Low expectations Anna, that's all we need with us while watching this show... I hope the coming week brings a lot of teary, heart-wrenching moments, so you and I can sneeze and sniff to our hearts contents 😃

Hey thanks Bush!! I'll stand by any character on this show who needs back up (especially when their character is being questioned) as long as I have valid reasons for their behaviour.

It is true na, Khushi is a comic idiot, and a chronic bollywood influenced heroine, I only wish that they had shown the intensity of her desperation - or at least, how affected she is that she has thought of taking this step.

I don't really like building theories based on the SBS/SBB updates, but if you see there, she keeps procrastinating from jumping off the edge - which shows that she's really not serious about this step, or as I've said that she's an impulsive person, she jumped to the first available solution to her worries and is now having second-thoughts about it.

Khud pagal hai aur hamein bhi pagal kar degi... par cute hai 😉

I was angry and upset about khushi and her suicide act. But after reading your write up...really felt good. Thanks :)👏

Still how can khushi think about suicide
Remember this dialogue?

?"Kyonki iss contract se zyaada , aapse zyaada
hamari zindagi ki kimat hai
Aur yeh kimat, hamze pyaar karne wale ko malum hai,
hamare pariwar ko malum hai"

so agree khushi is a fighter ! kkg is officially killed ! time to redeem her CVs

Nia Read ur POV & discussion too, its great that u could see light in yesterday episode what I mean even in fragile mindset it needs some tiggers to go into overdrive where in here nothing was like that, she is reflection more like schizophrenic tendencies, which she is not and secondly it takes of months of dipression to contemplate something like that not just one tigger, & finally I read somewhere on the forum that CV's hv tried a diff way to come out with the truth instead of usual rona dhona they bought it with humor, but do u think this situation warrants Humor here. I mean I m not saying all confrontation should start & end with rona dhona but wouldnt intense emotional upheveal be more justified to bring the confrontation. That is my regret with Friday's episode
the CV's arent handling their baby like they should hv done until now.

Yes, I do know that it takes time for all the psychological disorders to happen, but Khushi has been under these stress factors since the past 3 months. The CV's have failed to show how the pressure of the circumstances is building in her and that is where the disconnect in Khushi's nature and behaviour right now lies.

As for the humour, I do not like the taste it leaves behind, but like I said in my post, if they had put it in a more serious light, there would have been a rise in the number of people who would point out and say that 'This is NOT AT ALL the Khushi we know'... but since it is in a comic light, people now may still criticize, but mainly they will say "oh this is typical bollywood drama queen Khushi" - and also, in the trailers, Khushi is procrastinating her suicide mission - which means that as usual she has taken an impulsive decision without thinking ahead much, and is now realizing that suicide is not a joke!

Loved reading the different POV's.Not going very deep but just skimming on the surface... from an ordinary viewer's perspective... Friday's episode had a major disconnect factor regarding Khushi... I know the fable weave was an excellent deduction by doods... but for for the ordinary viewers who is a typical MIL, bahu or a naani saas(husband's grandma) a bequeath of a 7 year old pair of shoes to your in laws does not go down very well...whatever be the sentiments... an Indian bahu portrayed onscreen has to walk a very fine balance of aspirations and reality of viewers...instead if she had given a devi maiyaa murti or similar memorabilia...it would have struck a cord with a lot of the TV audience...as it would have been in keeping with the image of a girl who was teaching Lavanya how to be a good wife...Mostly the TG who make up the TRP would understand this better than the connection with shoemaker and the elf story...😭
